Experience vacation bliss in 5,300-square-foot, oceanside Allure with a beautiful beach just a short walk away. The ground level has great parking, an under-house elevator entry, storage, a shower, and a concrete pool with a hot tub. The first-level game room has an LCD TV, a Ping-Pong table, a kitchenette, deck access, and a nearby half bath. A theatre room with seating for six has an ice maker and a wine fridge. Both bedrooms share a full bath with a shower. On level two, the third bedroom deck access and shares a full bath featuring a huge tiled shower with the fourth bedroom. A half bath is close to the private washer/dryer and an office corner. The fifth bedroom has a bath with a tub/shower and deck access. The top floor great room has cathedral ceilings, pinewood floors, a half bath, professional decorations, an entertainment center with a TV, a gas fireplace, and south-facing sundeck access where you'll have views of the ocean and sound. The tiled kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is close to dining area. The sixth bedroom has an LCD TV, and a large bath with a shower. The location, strength, and beauty of Allure will keep you coming back year after year.

Relaxing

Great house

We loved the amenities. Plenty of space for multiple activities. Pool area was great and the bar, game room and theatre was a win. The WiFi was terrible. Not sure what was going on with that. The 5pm checkin is not ideal. 3pm is more in line with other homes that we rented. Overall a nice house in a nice location.

Outstanding service

We had rented a house in the Outer Banks of North Carolina to celebrate my wife's birthday. On the way there, we became aware that it was not going to be available because of a mechanical problem. The staff at Vacasa worked with us tirelessly to find a replacement that would work for us. My wife uses a wheelchair, so it had to be wheelchair accessible. The house that we ended up with was a four story house with 6 bedrooms as compared to the condo unit which we had originally rented. Although the house would have normally rented for at least 3 times what we had paid, it did not cost us any more. We are very greatful to Vacasa for their kindness and for the work they put into making our vacation a success.

Short stay but memorable

Came out there for my birthday. We did lots of fishing. Pros: nice and quiet neighborhood, elevator, big house, washer and dryer on 3rd floor, big parking lot, 5-10 min walk to the beach, pool, big kitchen, house is close to many things, 20-30 mins to bronner bridge. Con: elevator light did not work for us, 1st floor smell moldy, many of the door locks on 3rd floor did not lock, sink plugs in the restroom did not work, cleaning crew didn’t do a good job cleaning ( had lots of hair in the shower drainage), toilet on the second floor was rocky when you sit on it. These are minor things. I hope the owner will accept this as a positive criticism. I like the area, so yes, I will stay there again for that price!

The bunk bed was broken and could not be slept on and was not fixed during my stay. One of the stoppers in a bathroom sink was broken so the sink could not be used during my stay. About 6-7 vanity lights were burnt out in 3 different bathrooms. None of the beds were made and the sheet sets left on the bed did not coordinate with that bed. The tile was coming off in one of the bathrooms. There were crumbs on the floor and one of the bathrooms wasn’t cleaned because there was urine in the toilet. There were dirty linens left on the elevator. For the amount of money I was spending, I expected to be able to use all the bedrooms and bathrooms. One of the coffee makers didn’t have the right carafe so you couldn’t make coffee in it. One of the couches was broken in the theater room. I reported all of these things to Vacasa.

Perfect in every way!

Beautiful home

We loved our trip staying at Allure. The house is so spacious and accommodating for a large group, we went in off season October with 4 couples and our kids and had plenty of space for everyone. The pool and hot tub were great. Quick walk over the dunes to the beach. And beautiful sunrise/sunset views from the balcony’s. They did not allow early check in which was unfortunate because their check in time is later than most, but that was our only complaint about this property. Would stay again.

Great location, poor upkeep

This house has the potential to be an amazing vacation home, however when we arrived the cleaning was not great. We found an empty beer can as well as a bad stale beer smell in the game room, after checking we found an exploded beer under the couch. Regular upkeep is also lacking, multiple lightbulbs were out, including all four vanity lights in one bathroom. Also, multiple sliding door handles on the outside of the house were missing. Maintenance did come and fix what he could but wasn’t able to attend to everything. Our last issue was the propane tank to the grill being empty, since we purchased almost all of our food to be cooked on the grill we had to buy a new tank last minute. I am waiting to be reimbursed for that, but haven’t gotten response to that email. The representative I called to relay all the problems to was very nice and understanding so that was definitely a plus. The location and view from the house is amazing, with just a 2-3 minute walk to the beach, so with simple upkeep this house would be great! Also as stated in other reviews there is no direct access to the pool which does make it difficult if you have little kids. In the end we had a great time, but just expected a little more.

Awesome!

Great house! Plenty of room. Not a far walk from beach but definitely not as close as you may think. Beautiful quiet street. The elevator was out to use a lot, came in handy for sure. Would totally stay here again. Only thing we thought was “odd” was there is no stairs to each level of deck and no stairs on first floor so you either take the elevator or walk up the outside stairs to 2nd level.

The house was really nice, loads of space. The stairs are crazy wide which is nice when running up and down with stuff or kids. The elevator is a very nice benefit as well. The location to the beach was great, short walk down a driveway and over the dunes. The walk is not steep and the path is well traversed. You can pull a beach wagon or Bob stroller, but it's a chore - but really not that bad. Enjoy!

Beautiful house but needs maintenance

Allure is an amazing house with wonderful beach decor. It is close enough to the beach (about a 5 minute walk with 3 year old twins) while still having a green lawn. My complaint is not with the house but the lack of upkeep to make it the amazing house it should be. With a rental price of almost $8,000 for a week one should expect all the amenities as advertised. On arrival from N.Y. with enough food for a week and 4 cars full of luggage etc. the elevator was broken. It is quite a hike up 4 flights of stairs to the kitchen and main living area with food and luggage. We also discovered no audio in the "media room" so we could not use it and most of the remotes were not set up for use with their TV's. The main floor deck needs some attention as some of the boards are loose and could be dangerous. A row of tile was missing from one of the second floor bathrooms and overall there were some housekeeping issues. I would like to reiterate that this is a beautiful home and much pride and love was put into making it the perfect beach house. Now it just needs some TLC to make it worth the expense.

Beautiful home, odd layout to pool/hot tub

The home is beautiful, beds comfortable, nice bathrooms. definitely longer them 4 min walk to the beach. No access to the pool/back yard unless you leave the house by the front door go down the steps, under the house and to the back unless you want to go down the elevator which is very slow.

Wonderful Stay at Allure

We had a wonderful time at Allure. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a fun week at the beach. The only areas we could see improvement is a clear and marked path to the beach (we had to cut through people's driveways) and one more room with twin beds or bunkbeds (for kids). Besides these minor issues the stay was perfect and we would stay again!

Great Entertainment House

First, Becky and Trafford from Hatteras Realty went above and beyond to help us resolve an issue with our gas grill. THANKS! The Allure house was very spacious, very clean, and beautiful inside and out. The house had all the amenities needed and then some. The ping pong table was a hit and helped entertain the family during an overcast day. Two downsides to Allure: 1: the internet service was slow and not always consistent. 2: the access to the pool is strange as you cannot access the pool directly from the back of the house. You have to walk out the front door and around to the pool. Not easy to refresh drinks or use the rest rooms. Suggest adding a set of steps from the game room deck. Overall, we really enjoyed this vacation and the Allure house.

Enjoyed our week!

We really enjoyed the house. The kitchen was well supplied. The hard wood floors were so easy to take care of.The pool was great for 4 kids under six. Constructive criticism would be that the shower curtains and liners be replaced because of mold and the ground floor elevator room is very musty and moldy. This would not stop us from renting again.

Amazing relaxing vacation

What a beautiful home with almost everything u could ask for. We had an awesome week with great weather, views of both the ocean and the sound,and only a hop, skip, and a jump to the beach. Our only complaint is the wifi was super slow to the point if I owned the home I wouldn't even have it. But overall what a great home with awesome amenities!!!
