Glide into your best vacation ever at sound-front Jersey Paddler. The ground level has a carport, an under-house entry, storage, showers, a fish-cleaning table, and easy and safe sound access. This home is perfect for windsurfers and kayakers. On the first level, the first bedroom is waterfront with a private bath. The second bedroom is a main bedroom with a semi-private bath and hall access. The third bedroom has a private bath. Each bedroom has a TV. A large den with an entertainment center featuring a 46-inch TV and DVD player provides access to the decks and hot tub.

Upstairs, the Jersey Paddler blossoms into a large great room with exquisite furnishings, a 55-inch LCD HDTV, a Blu-ray player, and surround sound, plus a stereo with a 5-disk CD changer, a half bath, a gas fireplace, and views of the water, sunsets, and nature. The upscale kitchen, with a prep island and a nearby dining area, allows pass-through access to the screened porch with a picnic table for outdoor seating. The waterfront sundeck is the Jersey Paddler's best seat. Sore from a day on the water? Rest in the fourth bedroom with a private bath, a TV, a Jacuzzi, a sauna, and a steam shower. Smooth sailing is guaranteed at Jersey Paddler.

THINGS TO KNOW
Private pools are open for use from the arrival weekends from April 1 to October 13, 2023.
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.
*The fireplace is available November through March

Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on weather.

Lovely 😍

The house was everything and more than we could have expected. Things included in the house most would not even think of. Beautiful views and quiet neighborhood. Woke up early in the mornings and was able to catch our limit of trout and clean them directly under the house. Would stay here again and again. Just breathtaking ❤️

Fantastic House.

House was very clean, only high traffic areas on rug could understandably use a seasonal deep clean.(we went in mid Aug). House is loaded with everything you need and well maintained. Extras that most houses don’t offer. Kayaks, beach chairs, crab traps, boogie boards.. Everything worked well and was in very good condition. Quiet dead end street with views of sunrise and sunset on the sound. We would definitely recommend and rent this one again.

Jersey Paddler in Frisco, NC

Rustic looking sound front property in quiet neighborhood. We loved The Fort gym 2 blocks away. Beautiful views of the sound from the decks. Enjoyed fishing and kayaking, stargazing at night, quiet mornings with coffee and a good book, dolphins at the beach, hot tub and sauna too. Graveyard of the Atlantic museum, Buxton Village Bookstores, the Wreck tiki bar for music and best sunset and even Connor's grocery store were some of our favorite places to visit. First time this far south - it was so worth the extra hour drive! Thanks to our hosts for leaving a welcome note with a bottle of wine - nice touch!

Beware of next door neighbor.

Love this house. We have been renting this house for several years. Owners have rocks around sound, so we normally put our kayaks in the water on adjacent property (public area and sand behind neighboring house). Friday, neighbors put in fence posts and rope in to the water at the property line and posted a no trespassing sign. We didn’t realize they owned in to the water. Removing rocks at the waters edge at public access area and a couple of feet on Jersey Paddlers property would help tremendously.

Beautiful home in idyllic setting but Vacasa leaves something to be desired

The house is beautiful and has many amenities, but some of the items promised by Vacasa were not available upon check-in and repeated requests to provide the items went unanswered until I escalated to management and they finally made it right, albeit halfway through our stay. Even with that, the mattresses in the lower level bedrooms need to be replaced. They are either lumpy or saggy and very uncomfortable. The drawers in our bedroom dresser were falling apart. Headrests were missing from the hot tub. Instead of extra bath towels, we received multiple cloth bath mats even though bath rugs were already in the bathrooms. Pillow cases were hidden in drawers and had never been put on the pillows. I would still recommend this house as the location is ideal and the view is gorgeous and compared to other houses the layout is excellent. It's rare to find four adult size beds.

Just wow

I've rented many houses, in many cities over the course of my life but nothing compares to this place. Not a single thing was overlooked in the construction of this place. I've never been so sad to leave a place in my life. Waking up to the views from this house can only be described as perfection. Complete, unobstructed views. Decks for days. Absolute peace and tranquility. I found myself finding reasons to stay in instead of going out. It was a happy accident landing here after the house I originally booked was unavailable but I swear, the universe was looking out for me giving me this one instead. It was a bit of overkill for just two of us, but I'd happily stay here again and again.

Beautiful, well appointed home!!

This is our second year vacationing at the Jersey Paddler. We loved it last year, so this year, it almost felt like coming home!! We love the personal touch of the bottle of wine and a hand written note from the owners welcoming us to the house. I've been vacationing in the Outer Banks for 27 years now, and I think this is our favorite home so far! The kitchen has every dish, pan, utensils, etc. and loads of counter room, which we find necessary! The great room with its bead-board vaulted ceiling is so cozy and the little screened-in porch was perfect for sitting in the evening and combing through the shells we picked up at the beach without being eaten alive by mosquitos! Thank you for a wonderful vacation again!!

VRBO or Hatteras Realty?

We have rented MANY properties both in the northern section and on Hatteras Island over the past 20+ years and can honestly say this was probably #1 as far as location and having every amenity we could need. The reason for the 'short title' of the review is because we're confused about the way we made this rental through VRBO site, but somehow ended up dealing strictly through Hatteras Realty. The initial on-line reservation process didn't go well for whatever reason, but it eventually got worked out. Just need to understand how to do this more smoothly if we're going to reserve again.
