My son and I have stayed at this property previously. We enjoyed it then, and we enjoyed it just as much, this time. We are big fans of Solitude and Powderhorn lodge. We’ll be back.
Solitude is a European-style, village resort. The condo offers all the amenities you need: (in building parking, ski locker, pool and hot tub, kitchen). You can walk less than 100 yards and you are on the lift. Also, you are a short drive to Brighton, and only about 35 minutes to Alta or Snowboard. We skied Solitude, Alta and Snowbird!
Condo location could not be beat, very convenient with parking and walkable to restaurants and lifts—so happy to avoid all the traffic heading into the canyon! Condo was very clean, cozy, perfect for our family of 5, with great amenities! Club solitude kids activities were daily, fun game room and nice gym if needed. Overall one of our favorite ski trips!
The Powderhorn Lodge unit was perfect for our group of 5 for visiting Solitude and Brighton. Short walk to the lifts at Solitude and the couple of restaurants and short drive to Brighton. The unit itself was pretty spacious and the kitchen was stocked with cookware. Multiple hot tubs and a sauna was a bonus. No issues with parking or anything else. Would stay here again.

Super simple and nice little spot on Solitude. Made it easy to ski and came with what you need for a nice vacation on the mountain
We had a wonderful stay here during our Christmas snowboarding trip. The property is well-kept and exactly as pictured -- cozy, clean and perfectly located! We'd also like to give a special shout-out to Sydnie from the lodging team who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Can't wait to come back soon!
Perfect location. Communication was amazing. Would definitely stay here again. Great value!

Reviewer Comments:
We go to Solitude nearly every year and this was a great condo in the village--well-equipped kitchen, plenty of extra bedding, and all the conveniences of access to amenities like the clubhouse, pool, etc.
Location was fabulous. The condo is pretty dated for the price but layout is nice. A refresh would go a long way. We had several issues but the mgmt company was super responsive and communicated very well. The lighting in the condo is very poor and a few lightbulbs were out on the track lighting which made lighting even more difficult.
We enjoyed our stay. There were just a few things that knocked it from excellent to good. The location is excellent and the property and unit were both very clean. Concerning the unit, it was a bit dated, the refrigerator was loud, the bed was squeaky and it’s a little thing, but they didn’t have a vegetable peeler. Concerning the management, they were a great help accessing the property, very responsive. However, there was no flexibility when we wanted to leave our car parked in the garage on the day we checked out. I understand the need for us to be out of the unit by 10 am, but if new people can’t check in until 4pm, why couldn’t we leave the car there, enjoy a little skiing on our last day, and be able to pack up our ski tube in the garage?
The condo was very comfortable and convenient with ski lockers. The Cottonwood Management company was great when I made a request regarding cookware. It is well equipped and we were able to have six people total at dinner one night.
Amazing place. So close to everything lifts, resturants and the village store. It snowed plenty and we were worried about the road. After looking around the property we realized we could walk to anything we needed. Park the car and enjoy. 10/10

We had a great visit. The condo is small but suited our family of 5 comfortably. We enjoyed the easy location to the lifts, and the heated pool and game rooms.
Amazing convenience to the lifts and slopes. Advised the management company separately on hair in bathtub and WiFi issues. Apartment in general was quite cozy. Overall great experience

I can't say enough about the great communication from the management. The location was wonderful, and the suite had everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again.
My son and I had a terrific time skiing Solitude and Brighton, and 2 feet of fresh powder was amazing. Powderhorn 307 was a great place for my son and I. Very convenient to everything.
This place was wonderful for our family. So very comfortable!!
Only downside is there’s no guardrail on the top bunk (it sits below the top of the mattress), and my 7 year old is still one to fall out of bed. So, she slept on the bottom bunk with her sister. That worked fine for our family, but may be an issue for another family.

What makes this property unique
Solitude is divided into two areas from which to begin your winter or summer mountain adventures—the lower Moonbeam area and the larger Village base area where the condo is located. Powderhorn Lodge is inside the gates of Solitude Village, closer to the Apex lift than the shuttle drop-off. The Apex Express chairlift is a two-minute walk, just 500 feet from the lodge, providing VERY convenient ski access!
Coming back from a day of exploring the mountains? Winter or summer, you can look forward to the enjoyment of coming back to Basecamp and making a delicious dinner in the spacious, modernly appointed kitchen, hanging out in front of the large fireplace in the great room and watching a movie with family and friends, playing a game of pool in the game room, or taking a relaxing soak in the large hot tub on the back patio before taking a well-deserved rest in one of the gorgeously updated bedrooms. The entire home exudes warmth, luxury, and comfort that will have you dreaming of coming back every year!
