69 km south-east of Savonlinna, L.Ylä-Tyrjäjärvi 20 m, (length 2 km, width 1 km), deep, hard, rock/sand bottom, pier, own boat.

Log cottage 2006, living room/kitchen, bedroom 2 beds, bedroom double bed, bedroom on the loft 4 beds, sauna, washroom, dressing room, porch, toilet. Wi-Fi. Comfortable cottage on eastern border. Ylä-Tyrjäjärvi is a border lake and a border zone permit (free of charge) is required for rowing, in winter icefishing on it. When booking, customers must notify names and dates of birth of holidaymakers to Lomarengas or cottage owner well in advance.

Owner will supply the cottage with a starting amount of 30 l of drinking water. More water can be picked up from the faucet in the owner’s yard.

Around cottage is sloping plot with forest, with steps down to shore. Peaceful situation. Good fishing waters.

Immer wieder

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier, weil sowohl Unterkunft alsauch die Lage des Hauses einmalig sind. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist komplett- alles gepflegt und sauber. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der See, an dem das Haus liegt, ist reich an Fischen und somit ein Paradies für jeden Angler. Die Grenze zu Russland verläuft mitten durch den See(!). Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Bei Vollauslastung des Hauses mit 8 Personen kam es bei nur einem WC evtl. etwas eng werden.
