95 km north-west of Helsinki. Painionjoki River/Lake Hirsjärvi 20 m (length 20 km, breadth 50-200 m), shallow water, sandy bottom. Pier, own boat.
Log cabin 1974, living room with 2 extra beds, 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each, kitchen, sauna, dressing room, veranda. Car shelter.

Pohjola's holiday cottages are situated about 10 km from the center of Somero in a peaceful countryside.
Lake Hirsjärvi is a narrow but long lake. Water quality is examined and water has always been suitable for swimming.
In the center of Somero there is eg. bowling hall, swimming Hall, riding stable, Esakallio dance hall and 3 restaurants. Ämyri dance hall 4 km, Somerniemi market square during summer Saturdays 3 km, Hiidenlinna about 10 km (where also outdoor climbing park Sisumetsän seikkailupuisto).
