This one and a half acre estate has the most majestic access to the beach in the Puget Sound. Hundreds of large stones were barged in and meticulously placed to create a mid bank stairway that will take your breath away. There is a main house, a guest house and a small bunk house with plenty of grass for yard games or just relaxing and watching the ships go by. Evenings around the fire pit will be a highlight of your stay. This is the perfect place to gather and make memories.

The property grounds are absolutely stunning. The views were beyond anything we could imagine. The owner was easy to get a hold of. Our overall stay was excellent. We highly recommend this property.
Our super large family had a wonderful time. The beds were very comfortable, the gathering space large and lovely. We especially enjoyed the large lawn for games, the kayak/paddle board accessibility and the excellent communication with the owner. Thanks, Shelley!
Had an absolutely wonderful weekend with a handful of friends celebrating my birthday!
The bedrooms were comfy and accommodating, the space allowed for people to be participating in a variety of activities without getting in each other’s way, and beach access for day time wandering was incredible!
Shelley was helpful both over text and with her check-in materials on the property, which was greatly appreciated!
Would definitely recommend this property to my friends in the future
We had a wonderful time staying at this property! We especially enjoyed the views, the beach access and the large lawn for games. The main house common space and kitchen are nice but a bit tight for our group. Families with small children should be aware that the stairs in the main house are steep and right off the kitchen/living area. We put the pack-and-play there to block the stairs and were still on edge about our 18 month-old. For families without small children, however, we would highly recommend staying here!
We had a snowstorm when we arrived and an ice storm while there. All three units were nice and warm. Main house had a full kitchen, but a small gathering place, so we mostly hung out in the guest cottage, which had a microwave, toaster oven, fridge and two induction burner units-so handy. The view was great, and the pathway/stairway to the water was a plus. One hairdryer for the four bathrooms made for some taking turns, handy to have laundry facilities. Guest house mattress has a memory foam topper. There were plenty of throws and blankets.
Lots of games and puzzles kept us occupied. All in all, a pleasant stay. Thank you 😊
Our family just spent a wonderfully unforgettable week on Puget Sound. With sweeping views across Admiralty Inlet (the entrance to Puget Sound) to Whidbey Island and snow-clad Mt. Baker, the setting could not have been more spectacular. This property is really a compound. It includes a main house, a cozy guest house and a bunk house (where four teenage granddaughters slept...or more probably giggled through the night. There was plenty of room for us all. A signature feature of this property is a magnificent, broad stone stairway access to the beach. We flew kites. We sat and soaked in the view and salt air. We just enjoyed the place and each other for a dreamy week. The property is well cared for. The lawns are manicured. The appliances are up to date; the beds, very comfortable. The property owner is VERY responsive. When we needed some help finding some necessaries, she immediately responded. This is a great family place for making happy memories.
We stayed at Shelly's house over Thanksgiving and enjoyed the location and layout very much. The guest house is just the cutest! Because it was Thanksgiving and the weather was cool we didn't spend much time outside but I can only imagine that spring/summer is absolutely beautiful on the property! We had 13 people during our stay and the property was well appointed and stocked for our group. We hope to return!
Shelly was a wonderful host. Very responsive to questions or concerns. We really appreciate her sharing her fabulous property. Our family had a lovely time enjoying each other and the Puget Sound area. We marveled at sea life and the eagles nest on the property! Thanks Shelly- we hope to return soon.
This property provided an outstanding family experience. Plenty of room for everyone. It was nice to have the guest and bunk house separate from the main house. The view is spectacular. Having a private beach for water sports was really special. Highly recommended.!
We had an amazing stay with our family.
The beach, outdoor patio was fantastic-
The layout of the main house was different than we expected- bath not shower for two rooms but the guest house shower was always available so we had no problems adapting. Loved this property and it worked out perfectly. The view never disappoints-
This estate was perfect for my six adult daughters, all working mothers with high powered jobs, and me, the mom. Most of our meals were cooked at the main house, providing all the things required for prep and serving. Everyone had a private room to decompress from their busy lives. The group spaces were perfect for fellowship. Our host immediately texted answers to any queries. This was a five-star experience for us. You will not be disappointed👍😊
We had a group of 12 family members up to celebrate my parents belated 50th wedding anniversary (thanks covid). We booked this a month before our stay as our other plans fell through and couldnt have been happier. Gorgeous property and views with access to the beach, beautiful fire pit, and large yard to play games with the kiddos. Only tip would be for small kids consider not having them sleep downstairs as sound travels. Owner is very responsive and helpful and has lots of chairs, games, dishes, kayaks, and 2 pack n plays available if needed. Highly recommend!!

Why they chose this property
In 2013 I decided it was time for our family of 5 to have a place on the water. I wanted a place for us to visit and spend summers building memories together. This property was one of the first places I looked at. When we drove down the long driveway and I saw the view of the water, the cluster of birch trees and the charming shingled homes, I knew I needed to own it. After spending a little bit of time checking it out, I could see my kids and future grandkids there. It took nearly 9 months for the owner changing her mind back and forth to finally sell it to me. Our family, extended family and friends spent every summer here relaxing together and building memories. As time has gone on and my children are now grown with one married and two in college in another state, our time at our beach house has dwindled dramatically. We couldn't bear the thought of selling it so we decided to share it with others who would find it as magical as we have. We hope those that have the opportunity to rent it will treat it as we have and leave with a plethora of memories and a love of nature and the Puget Sound.
What makes this property unique
When this property was developed, the owner had all of the large stones barged in and placed on the mid bank creating the spectacular terraced stairway leading to the beach. I am confident that you will not find a stairway to the beach like this one anywhere in the Puget Sound. These stairs are my favorite part of our property. They take my breath away.
