It was very well maintained. It was clean. If we had a problem I messaged and got a reply very quickly. Every problem was solved. It does have a lot of stairs so be aware of that. I knew it had some so I did expect it. So if you have trouble with steps take that in to consideration. It’s kind of compact so a smaller family would be great here. If you want privacy in the rooms you will need to stay in the room with two queens beds the master is in the open loft. Kind of interesting that the jacuzzi was in the room with the couch and the tv. Interesting lay out for that room. But if your looking for a place to stay that’s clean and quiet this is it. Close to quick things without having to go all the way to town. But not too far to go where you want to go.
Upon arrival there were beer bottles in the fridge and vomit in the bathroom area and shower. When we left the owner billed us additionally, after following all the clean up instructions. According to them we left the house in disarray with unopened beer bottles and crumbs. This was according to their cleaner. After relaying to the owner the condition we had found the house in when we arrived they stated it was impossible since they had cleaned it themselves, after previously stating they had a cleaner who they hire. Beware of overcharging scam. Won't return. As a bonus all the water smells like egg, the shower and sink water both. Probably something wrong with the drainage.
Easy access to anything you want to do in the smokies. My family enjoyed the game room the most about this cabin. Decks on both sides of the house were great for relaxing outdoors.
This was my first rental experience and it was a good one. Everything with the cabin was as expected. My family enjoyed our trip to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and we even saw a bear!! We had to leave early due to unexpected circumstances but it was still a great trip just for the views alone! Would recommend!
We enjoyed this lovely home. We loved the downstairs game room, and porch swing out back. Eric was quick to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed a relaxing time.
Very nice little property for a single family that wants to experience a cabin in the woods.
Quiet, nice, cozy, perfect for my little family as we didn't need anything too overly dramatic in size as we needed it more for relaxing and rest. Appliances are updated and met our expectations with the little cute cabin in the woods.
This is a cute cabin perfect for a stay in Smoky Mountains! It was very clean and in a quiet and safe location. It had everything we could have needed: enough kitchen supplies to make a simple meal, coffee maker, plenty of linens and towels. The drive up the mountain was a little stressful the first time but we got used to it quickly. The cabin is about 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It's close enough for quick trips into town but far enough to feel like you are escaping the craziness of town. We loved the modern kitchen and the coffee maker was a nice touch. The downstairs bedroom reminded me of an old fashioned "sleeping' porch" and was a neat addition. Even though it was really cold and snowing outside the cabin was warm and cozy. There isn't much privacy for the bedrooms so if take note if that matters to you. The upstairs bedroom is an open loft and the downstairs bedroom has French doors (with curtains) onto the living rom. It didn't bother us but it's something that you might want to be aware of. The only negative was that the fireplace didn't work. Being from Florida we were REALLY looking forward to having a fire in the evenings and made sure to book a cabin that had one. But that was a little thing. Overall we had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again.
