Buddy's Creekside Bear Camp is a beautiful, amazing original mountain chalet that has been totally updated & remodeled inside & out & will comfortably sleep 6 people. It is the perfect family chalet that allows each family member to have their own sleeping space. This chalet has all the uniqueness & charm of one of the earliest genuine original mountain chalets in one of the most desirable, sought-after locations in Gatlinburg.
It is conveniently located on a good main road where mature trees insulate you from all angles, offering so much privacy & It is just 2 miles to downtown Gatlinburg & the Great Smoky Mountain National Park & less than a mile to Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort, all on the same road.
The living room has a 55" TV, DVD player, movie library, comfy couch, recliner & futon w/ memory bedding, and game table w/ 4 padded stools for board games & a ceiling fan. There are many board games for adults & kids in this chalet.
The kitchen has all major appliances, a 6-person bar-high table w/stools, plenty of dishes, cooking utensils & cookware for stay-at-home meals. There is a George Forman grill, a slow-cooker, a large electric skillet, a blender, a 4-slice toaster, blender, coffee maker & Keurig. There is a stackable washer & dryer in the hall closet.
The main-level master bedroom has a king bed with a memory foam mattress, 32' TV, DVD player, 2 ceiling fans, chest & closet.
The main-level bath has a tub/shower combo with a hand-held shower.
The private 2nd bedroom is on the upper-level & has 2 twin beds with memory foam mattresses, a 32" TV & a ceiling fan. This bedroom door opens onto a small private deck w/ 2 chairs.
The half-bath is located between the bedroom & game room & has a large closet directly across from it.
The loft game room has board games, a table & 2 chairs & a futon with/ memory foam bedding.
The huge main wrap-around deck has a 4-person hot tub, table & chairs for outside dining, a porch swing & a gas grill. There is a small table & 2 chairs under the covered portion of the deck for morning coffee. There are additional chairs for relaxing on the other end of the deck. The deck wraps around 3 sides of this chalet & has 2 different gates separating different parts of the deck to keep pets & kids safe.
This wonderful chalet sits high, overlooking an ever-running creek right in the front yard & is tucked back in the woods for privacy. Kids & pets love to play in the creek. Soothing sounds of water rushing over rocks can be constantly heard from the chalet 24/7. The flat driveway right off the main road will park several vehicles right at the deck steps.
Exterior security cameras overlook the steps & driveway & in no way interfere with guests' privacy. There are no interior cameras at this property.

To avoid driving in traffic, drive less than a mile to Ober Gatlinburg on the same road, leave your vehicle & take the glassed-in Ober Aerial Tram to downtown Gatlinburg for magnificent bird's-eye views. It holds 120 people & leaves every 20 minutes from early until late daily. such fun & convenient to avoid any traffic! There are FREE trollies in Gatlinburg that will take you to Pigeon Forge, the Arts & Crafts area, and many more parts of the area.
You will love the privacy & convenience of being right off easy-to-travel main roads & just minutes from all the activities, shopping, restaurants & events in Gatlinburg.
As a bonus to this location, there is a neighborhood market & deli less than a half mile away where you can buy groceries, burgers, pizza, beer & beverages or have them delivered right to the door.
There are 2 ways to go to Buddy's Creekside Bear Camp from Pigeon Forge. 1st way is to miss all of the downtown traffic & view the beautiful scenery of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park by way of Gatlinburg Bypass. The 2nd route is where you can view all the sights of downtown Gatlinburg. All roads going there are good paved main roads. Downtown Gatlinburg is only 2 miles away.

Ober Gatlinburg’s Wildlife Encounter provides the perfect opportunity to view black bears & bear cubs, river otters, flying squirrels, turtles, raccoons, snakes, & birds of prey.
