Very private 1 room cottage with winter mountain views. Queen bed with bathroom, small kitchenette. and living area. Wood burning stove, screened porch, picnic area, BBQ grill and fire pit located on 172 acres of forests and meadows.

Great

Great stay. Nice older glamping style Cottage. Clean. Some ants but you are in the woods. Trails to walk dogs on but be careful alot of old broken glass shards in the dirt I’m guessing from old windows. Would recommend ! Dont forget to visit the pigs, goats, and horses.

Romantic weekend

Property is exactly as described, but better! We loved staying in the little cottage in the woods. We had plenty of privacy but also the ability to walk around the property and see the animals and trails. We definitely want to come back!

This cabin was so private and so relaxing hated to leave if my dad disnt go inti hospital we would have stayed till check out. Perfect place if u ahve dogs walking them even in the heat was so good little creek colded our older boy off (dog) loved being here and the baby bunnies i loved seeing definitely loved it

Moms get away

Me and 3 of my closest girlfriends stayed here as a moms getaway. The home was small and quaint, however 4 of us slept wonderfully and had plenty of room. Location was optimal for privacy yet close enough to wineries, restaurants, and amenities.

Cottage in the Woods

We came to the area to enjoy the wineries and getaway for the weekend. We enjoyed the property and seeing the animals, horses, and pigs. The cottage was very secluded and nicely decorated! Small kitchen including a dorm-size fridge, microwave, and stove. A small coffee pot is available for use. Linens are provided. We saw the Hot tub and it looked nice. Not a complaint just a preference the bed has a nice memory foam topper on it. We prefer a stiff mattress. Just a heads up for other travelers. We loved the beauty of the property and would come back! Thank you for having us!

We had a great time! We loved being able to use the fire pit to make s'mores and cook food. It was the perfect place to get away from people. The hot tub was awesome and they already had it warned up for us when we got there! We loved hanging out with the horses and introducing our dogs to them. Or pups had a great stay too! Thanks again.

Family "GLAMping"

The property and cottage were as advertised and even better! The animals were so friendly and walked right up to the fence to allow us to pet them. The cottage set up is beyond perfect for a small family or couple looking to get away, we found a great fishing spot about 20 miles from the property and were able to check out local antique shops! We will definitely be returning in the colder months to really enjoy the out door fire pit! Thank you all so much!

Great Property

We had a great time at this property! There are well-maintained trails around the property for walking, the cabin was nicely furnished and clean. The screened in porch was perfect for lounging during the rainstorm. This is perfect property for couples, very intimate!

Beautiful Property and Great Experience

My girlfriend, doggy, and I were looking for a little weekend getaway in Central VA with access to hiking and wineries/breweries. Dina’s place was a cozy little cottage on a beautiful property. The place had everything we need and we couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to pet pigs and horses. Would definitely stay there again!!

Overall nice visit!!

Overall it was a nice experience at this little cottage. There were a few things not mentioned in the listing or by the property manager that would’ve been good to note. The fridge is a dorm size fridge, not apartment size as we were told. There were only 2 “sharp” knives- a cheese knife and a paring knife. So if you want to cook any meat, bring your own knives! There’s one big pan for cooking, and one medium pot. Property manager was very responsive. The back door jammed on us Friday night so we were locked out, and she came promptly to let us back in. It was a drive for her too, so we really appreciated that. They also came out the next morning to replace the door knob on the back door. The firewood was perfectly seasoned, and inside the screened in porch, so it was dry for our visit. The hot tub was nice! The light for the area was broken, but thankfully we brought lanterns with us. I would recommend bringing some kind of additional lighting like this anyway for outdoor use (at night). Nice visit overall!!
