Welcome to Casa de Mar, home to the best views Galveston Island has to offer! This family-friendly home is in the desirable location of the Pirates Beach subdivision, only steps away from the beach.

Have good old-fashioned family fun with the complimentary board games and puzzles in the southwest-chic living room by the ornamental fireplace, or in the dining area underneath a beautiful, shell-covered chandelier. The southwestern aesthetic is carried through the open kitchen by the talavera-style backsplash.

The views from the two decks as you feel the ocean breeze on your face are truly unmatched! Enjoy a family meal on the partially covered lower deck as you watch and listen to the waves crashing against the shore.

The ground level has an outdoor shower and a charcoal grill available for use once the sandy delight of a beach day has come to a close.
The main level has an open dining area and kitchen with a bar for additional seating. There is access to the wrap-around deck right off of the living room with gorgeous beach views. Down the hall is the master bedroom with a queen bed, a TV with cable and a DVD player, deck access, and a luxurious adjoining master bathroom. The master bathroom features a dual-headed shower and art deco style windows that create a captivating rainbow effect on the walls. Also found on the main level is the laundry room with updated washer and dryer, as well as a charming half bath.

The second floor contains three bedrooms and an impeccable shared bathroom for the rest of the family. The first bedroom has two twin beds and a TV with a DVD player. The second bedroom has two sets of twin bunkbeds, a large TV, and access to the upper balcony for more stunning views. The third bedroom contains a queen size bed and also has access to the upper balcony for listening to those ocean waves.

Location: 1 minute walk to the beach; 8.5 mile drive to 61st Street; 12 mile drive to 25th & Strand; 9 mile drive to Moody Gardens/Schlitterbahn Waterpark.
