Great time!

Easy check in and check out process. Host was nice, friendly, and responded when needed. House was clean and so cute. Perfect for a girls trip away. Close to lots of different restaurants and activities. Would definitely stay again!

Beachwalk

This house had everything we needed and felt like a home away from home. The location was close to the main road so it was easy to go explore what Port Clinton had to offer. It was a short drive to the Kelley's Island Ferry, Cedar Point, and the drive thru safari. The neighbors were quiet and friendly.

This was a cute, cozy home away from home for a few nights while we explored the area! The house was well-kept, had all the amenities we needed and was close to everything- ferries, restaurants, parks, etc. We would definitely recommend this location!

Great house

The property is close to juat about everything. 30 minute walk from jet express and downtown. To walk out the fro t door and be able to see the lake was amazing. Would rent this house again for future trips.

Needs an upgrade

The property needs so updating and a major clean up. The drain I. The bathtub did not drain properly, the house smelled of mildew, the ancient rugs on the floor needed thrown out or washed. I would not stay at this property again.

Good bad and ugly

Good: Listed amenities were provided Close to water Quick response by owner and property managers An amazing playground within walking distance Extra pillows and blankets as needed Bad/ugly: The first night we arrived there was a putrid sewer, like smell in the house. The property manager came within an hour, however, could not find the source. The smell continue throughout our stay, although did lesson at times. This cannot be helped by owner. However, I do believe needs to be mentioned for future patrons. The neighbors next door had trash and items that bled onto the front yard during our stay. They would be often found sleeping in their front yard. There is trash left over in the backyard from previous patrons, or possibly blew over from the neighbors yard. Whereas waterfront can be seen even from the bathroom that doesn’t necessarily mean that it is accessible. There is a “beach“ however, this beach had large chunks of concrete black, oily sand, and seem to be not the most accessible area for people with young children. The neighborhood seems to be one that is starting to become run down and maybe not the safest as there was constant foot traffic, especially to the neighbors next-door.

The location and the inside of the condo is very nice. The inside was clean and the space is great. The outside of the house is covered in spider webs and each windows has spiders to the point we would not open the window or the patio door to use the awesome outdoor patio. The table and chairs were webbed and spiders living on them. I didnt smoke any cigars in the back like I planned cause I did not want to open that patio door to let any bugs in and the 2 big spiders living on the top of the door. I checked out the patio the first night and we did not go back again after that. Great place to sleep and use as a home base but needs some work on the spiders and bugs to hang out at the location in back.

The Perfect Little Bachelorette Party!

I am a very clean and picky person. I bring lysol wipes with me everywhere I go and rewash dishes. But, this was one CLEAN house. Blew my expectations out of the water in many ways. My one and only complaint was dust in the vents but that is only due to an allergy. This house is absolutely adorable and in the perfect location. The beds were comfortable and clean, the patio out back lived up to the pictures, the living room area was very homey, and more. This was such a great stay and if I’m in the area I would totally choose this property over and over again. Thank you guys for helping me make this weekend the bachelorette party of the brides dreams!!

Cute cottage near the beach

The Beachwalk cottage is a little "home away from home". The cottage is clean, lovingly decorated and has a well stocked kitchen. There is a nice Weber grill on the patio and the cottage supplies the charcoal. The cottage is suitable for a small family of 3 or 4. It is about 25 minutes away from the Miller Ferry, but just about 5 minutes from the Jet Express. Jason the host was very responsive to our questions. If we were to come back to the area we would stay here again.

Enjoyable but room for improvement

We very much enjoyed our stay at Port Clinton. The house was very convenient to the beach and a nearby park as well as a corner Grocery. The house was well stocked with everything you would need from linens to kitchen supplies. We would have loved some black-out curtains or blinds so the kids would sleep in. Could have also use a little more attention to cleaning the dust and cob webs. Everything else was very enjoyable.

Comfortable but not clean

The negatives: We noticed a smell when we entered the house. It was especially strong in the kitchen. My wife thought it was cigarette smoke. It may have been a very rank rubbish can in the driveway. The shower liner needed replaced or cleaned. Either the spiders are very active or the cleaning is less than sufficient. The positives: It was close to the beach. It has off-street parking. Everything worked although some of the GFCI receptacles needed reset. It was easy to walk to downtown Port Clinton. It has easy access to Marblehead and Lakeside. It was comfortable.

Weekend Trip

Took the boys fishing while the ladies toured Port Clinton and Put in Bay. Small cute place that served its purpose for us. Theme and decor were perfect for a lake getaway. Beds/mattresses were not the most comfortable but worked for a couple nights. Walking distance to town and Jolly Rogers - local joint for fresh walleye and perch - delicious Would stay here again.
