Perfect place to stay for a month!

It was great. Love the neighborhood and old houses. House was very comfortable for my husband and 2 dogs. I will say that it would be very hard for someone to stay there with a walking disability for several reasons including the fact that there is no bathroom on the main floor. Otherwise, it was truly a magical experience staying here and we wish we could have stayed longer.

Astoria Retreat

My wife and I really enjoyed staying at the Astoria River Retreat! It was exactly what we were looking for. Centrally located in the hills above Astoria, we had great views, privacy in a residential neighborhood and within walking distance to town and up the hill to the Astoria Column and Peter Pans Deli! We loved staying in the older home and living the history a bit of the area...good times! Thank you!

Quiet Location with a View

Charming older home that has been refreshed without losing its character. Great location with easy access to downtown. Good neighborhood for walking. Has AC making it comfortable during the summer. Internet is a little slow but allows some streaming. View of River from back deck. We would stay here again!

Wonderful

We absolutely loved staying at this home in Astoria. We were in town for business for three months. The pictures don’t do it justice, it was a beautiful and clean home. The location was perfect for walking down to the river walk and also had an amazing view of the Columbia river. I loved being able to step out into the porch for coffee in the morning and watch the boats go by. Lisa and Doug were also so prompt in helping with any issues we came across; at one point the water heater was doing something funky and they were able to get someone to us that afternoon. I throughly enjoyed staying here, and was honestly sad to leave!
