Lovely 18th century village house - steeped in history & carefully restored with style via a bold, elegant contemporary extension - located on the edge of a peaceful, mainly pedestrian alley, on the very top of the town. In a quiet residential area of the historic center, nestled a stone's throw from the illustrious medieval abbey, a world-renowned heritage jewel as well as all amenities (directly accessible on foot). Nestled in the wooded foothills of the South Burgundy massif between two national forests, in the hollow of the bucolic Grosne valley partly protected as a Natura 2000 Zone, the spiritual heart of medieval Europe endowed with the rare and very prestigious European Heritage label. ", Cluny has an invaluable heritage and benefits from a magnificent preserved rural setting (sumptuous landscapes & panoramas), a succession of vineyard hillsides, bocages, wooded hills & rivers, to be discovered during walks in the countryside (on foot, bicycle or mountain bike). Very comfortable cottage with an unusual & atypical interior architecture. Beautiful volume of the living room enhanced by a sculptural ultra-design staircase. Warm contemporary character mixing pop touches & Scandinavian spirit, enhanced by a beautiful heritage restoration (stone walls & lintels, beams & frames… original). Lots of charm and character. Zen & very gentle atmosphere. Cozy & cocooning. Pleasant little intimate & vegetated terrace, opening onto a mini enclosed, neat and flowery garden. Composition: Semi-detached town house adjoining the owners' home (total independence). Wireless. Electric heating. Ground floor (with half level): living room-kitchen, lounge (extra convertible sofa 1 p. 110x190cm), bathroom (shower/Wc). 1st floor: bedroom (double bed 160x200cm). Private terrace + garden (space reserved on the owners' garden side). Free public parking 300m away. Amenities on site.
