Attention: Active Wildlife in the Area
Our area of WNC is currently experiencing increased wildlife activity, particularly from bears. While it’s a privilege to share our environment with these magnificent creatures, it’s essential that we all take precautions to ensure our safety and theirs.
Please follow these guidelines:
Secure all food and garbage: Bears are attracted to strong smells. Do not leave food in your car and reattach bungee cords to trash can lids every time.
Be aware of your surroundings: Stay alert, especially during dawn and dusk when wildlife is most active.
Avoid close encounters: If you see a bear or other wildlife, maintain a safe distance and do not approach.
Travel in groups: When possible, hike or explore with others, and make noise to alert animals of your presence. Keep dogs leashed at all times.
Your cooperation is crucial in maintaining a safe and harmonious environment for everyone. Thank you for your attention and care.

Fun family trip

We were overall happy with our stay, could have been more clean as we found multiple items that needed attention and had a house pet the whole week however we weren’t there long enough for PM company to rectify without disruption of stay.

Bryson city getaway

The cabin was clean, we had enough bath towels for the entire stay which was 6 days. We have been to other cabins that didn’t provide enough items for our stay. When our trash was full we called the care takers and they were there within just a few minutes to get it and very nice people by the way. Everything worked in the cabin as it should. Would definitely stay again!

Annual Rafting Trip

The cabin was fantastic. It was so comfortable, it was like being at home. The location was super close to the Rafting Center and it was great to come back after a day on the river to a peaceful site and relax. The deck was perfect for my morning meditations. We found everything we needed to fix a surprise birthday dinner for my son-in-law. I was the only one who did not have a mobile connection but WiFi was excellent. The only suggestion I have is that we post the check out text number by the lock so it can be seen as you lock up.

Wonder spring break

We had an amazing time, lots of memories made. The property was beautiful and the views were spectacular. The staff was very helpful and quick to act when we ran into issues with our hot tub. They were out within minutes to fix it. We will definitely return. Best vacation we’ve ever had. The yard is a nice addition to this property. We spent majority of our time at the yard playing games and taking breath taking photos!

March 9-13

Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend with amazing company. Our cabin was right by the yard, with a beautiful view of the mountains and multiple fire pits. Everything was nice and clean. Very well organized. Everything was exactly like the pictures online. The property in of itself was amazing. The only thing I would change is the hike to the waterfall. When we got to the end of the trail there was trash everywhere and the waterfall was under construction? I feel like it should be inaccessible until complete. That is the only issue I found

Cozy cabin in the woods

The kitchen faucet had to be replaced the morning after we arrived after discovering no water pressure the first night. Not a huge deal. The living area was nice and cozy, pool table upstairs was fun but the pool sticks could use some replacement. The futon upstairs wasn’t comfortable for one of our kids and the basement bed was very uncomfortable (suggest a replacement). The kitchen lacked counter space and some of the drawers and cabinets were dirty inside but otherwise it was functional. The road to get up to the cabin was a bit steep so you have to keep the speed up but ok if you have 4-wheel or all-wheel drive. Overall a nice cabin but a bit pricey.

Great place for our large group!

We had a blast. The cabin was perfect for our group. We would definitely recommend to anyone. Hated losing power on our last day because we had alot of food wasted that was planned for breakfast as it was in the oven baking when the power went out. The only recommendation I would suggest would be an easier way for dogs to do their business. Our old dog struggled going up and down the stairs to get to a place to go. Thanks again for a wonderful place to stay and enjoy the beautiful views.

Mini Vacay

Beautiful property with excellent views and all the amenities you need. 5 adults and 3 children stayed for 3 nights to visit Bryson City's Polar Express nearby. The hot tub was one of the best we've had the pleasure of using. Beds were all super comfortable. Our cabin was decorated with a Happy Birthday banner and balloons upon arrival which was so super nice! I had mentioned it was my husband's birthday during that week and asked about balloons but then completely forgot about it! Above and beyond for sure! Only 2 negatives that are really very unimportant but the Christmas Tree lights on our tree only half worked. Also the trail to the falls on the property was pretty strenuous and a little scary! Not easy with kids. Just an FYI. Otherwise it was wonderful and will definitely stay again!

Weekend Stay for Polar Express

Beautiful cabin. We deducted a star because the hot water heater is worthless. After one shower, the hot water was depleted for the next 2 hours. It was miserable getting ready

Perfect Family Mountain Getaway

This cabin provided the perfect mountain oasis for our family! The pool table and the hot tub were definite highlights for the kids. The mountain sunsets were gorgeous. Close proximity to great hikes with beautiful scenery was a bonus. It is a very steep drive up to this cabin, but that happens when you are literally IN the mountains! The living room TV is much larger than the one advertised. The decks provide gorgeous views right from the cabin. Overall, we highly recommend this cabin!

Beautiful property in a great location close to Fontana Lake. Spacious and comfortable. A few minor issues with the cabin but they were taken care of by the management company. I’m sure we will return.

Wonderful mountain home!

We really enjoyed our stay at Watershed 6. The property was as described and even a little more updated than the pictures. For instance, the main TV is a flat screen (not like the old TV pictured) and the king bedroom on the main floor does have a futon (it's described but not pictured). They provided lots of little touches like soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, conditioner, shampoo, coffee, etc. There was enough for 2 or 3 days of each at least so plenty of time to go to the store for things and not feel rushed the moment you get there. They were very responsive when I had questions as well. We enjoyed the games out in the "yard" as well as the hiking trails, teepee, playground, and waterfall. The bridge is off limits at the moment so you either have to walk down the road to another entrance or hop across the creek to see the waterfall at the moment. It was a very pretty hidden gem. We really didn't have any complaints. There weren't even any bad smells like many vacation homes have. We will definitely go back!!
