Our family stayed here during UVA graduation weekend. The house is lovely and perfect for entertaining. We were able to host other parents and graduates with lots of room to spare. The house is well laid out with the kitchen area (including a huge island) anchoring the easy flow from living area to dining area. There is an additional large sun room at the back with huge screened windows. The house is fully air conditioned, neat and very clean. I enjoyed the yard most of all. The back lawn is perfect for yard games. My kids play “bocci around the yard” and there is lots of room for Corn Hole. As you sit on the small back deck at the patio table there isn’t a house in site. Occasionally you may hear a car, but the house sits at the end of a beautiful lane so what you hear are birds! No city sounds…just peaceful silence and birds. It’s beautiful. And the icing on the cake was the firefly light show every night. It’s the middle of May and the lightening bugs are in the trees, in the air…everywhere you look! All said and done, I hope I have reason to rent this home again. P.S. The Owner/Manager (Miss Angie) was very nice to deal with. I never met her, but instructions to enter the house, taking care while there, and instructions upon leaving were very clear, and she was only a text away. One more thing, there is a gorgeous Southern Magnolia with a spread of aprox. 30 or 40 feet and a trunk I couldn’t get my arms around that I sat under one hot afternoon. I call that splendid!
We stayed here over Christmas. Beautiful property in a location that is quiet and close to both Charlottesville and Crozet. The fireplace was great. Owners where friendly and accommodating. Would stay there again!
The house was perfect for our needs, lots of space for gathering in the main living areas and kitchen! The outside area was peaceful and perfect for a nighttime fire pit!
The house is very nice and clean. The newly renovated kitchen is very spacious. We spent two nights there and hung out mostly around the kitchen and dining room area. Angie was very helpful with information asked. The house is near a few vineyards and hiking trails.
This home is a little outside of Charlottesville. Not to far, Not to close. Sits on a private country road. Well Maintained and lots of room. Beds are comfy! Loved the firepit. Wish we could have stayed longer. Host is great!
Loved staying here during a bachelorette weekend! The house was clean and had all the amenities we could have needed. Property was a quiet, tucked away spot about 20 mins from downtown Charlottesville. Would definitely stay here again!
We absolutely loved the house. It was surrounded by trees and nature and was so quiet. Everything was exceptionally clean and Angie was very responsive during our stay. I would 100% recommend this house to anyone and would definitely come back in the future!
This home provides a comfortable home-away-from-home. the home worked well for our family -- two grandparents, two parents, 5-year old twins and a 7-year old. There was plenty of space in comfortable rooms; our favorite spots were couches and chairs for reading books together, coffee and morning conversation at the large kitchen island, and watching deer in the backyard from couches in the sunroom. The backyard provided opportunities for the kids to burn off energy or relax after our hikes in the area. We also appreciated having three bathrooms and a convenient washer/dryer. I expect we'll be back!
this was a most beautiful home in a beautiful location. The owners are very attentive. It is roomy and very nicely remodeled. Everything we would need (other than groceries) were there.
Would go back in a heartbeat.
This is our second year staying at this property for a summer vacation, we love it here! There is so much space to spread out! It's only a short drive to Charlottesville, but feels world's away, in its own quiet retreat. Our two children also love this house, we made smores in the fire pit and watched the fireflies. I would highly recommend!
My mother said no less than 5 times over the course of our stay “we need to come here again.” I couldn’t agree more! Angie was communicative and thought of everything. We loved our stay at Broadreach Ranch!
We so enjoyed our time at this beautiful home for our wedding weekend. The home is beautiful with gorgeous peonies, lawn, decor and was so comfortable with everything that we needed. What a memorable time that we will always remember. Would highly recommend this home for a relaxing and wonderful get-away
Broad Reach was the perfect place for our visit to Charlottesville. It was so private and quiet but also very convenient to town and the UVA campus. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. 5 stars
6 of us, all adults, slept very comfortably at this home tucked quietly just outside of town. Close enough to the Charlottesville amenities to do whatever you want, yet truly in the the countryside, deer and all. One tired evening, we all sat around the large kitchen table, talked, sipped drinks and played games. Back sitting area was great to relax in. About a 6-10 minute drive into town, but a beautiful one. Would stay again.
We loved our stay at Broad Reach! The open floor plan and upgrades made for a very comfortable experience. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed walking our dog in the open yard. The host was responsive and accommodating of our requests. We will be back!!
Great house, lovely manager/owner. My family and I enjoyed our stay. We loved the location secluded, quiet location, yet within easy reach of Charlottesville (15 minute drive). Large property. Plenty of room to run and play. We would definitely return to this house the next time we are in the area.
