The booking and questions we had from our host were done so smoothly. The home was beautiful and so clean. Our family LOVED it. We had a family wedding to attend and it was going to be outdoors on a farm not too far away. The weather was windy, cold and rainy, not the best combination for an outdoor wedding. But we knew that a warm house, bath and bed were waiting for us to greet us after everything. Would highly recommend this property to anyone needing a get away place.
This is a great place for a weekend get away. It is quite and has a great country feel. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a place in central Texas.
Our family members met at the house for a family reunion.
The setting of the house is charming and quiet. Everyone enjoyed the house. The kids loved the upstairs area. And the guys enjoyed the outside areas. The living room and kitchen area accommodated all of us when we gather together. The house is well stocked with everything you need. We would stay at this property again.
My family and I stayed at Bluebonnet Ridge for the weekend of a family wedding and it was the perfect location! We had more than enough room for our family and the surrounding area is beautiful. Our host was very accommodating and let us have a late check out so we could host a family brunch the day after the wedding.
Bluebonnet Ridge is a jewel in the Texas countryside. Beautiful views of live oaks and deer off the back porch. The kitchen is open, well equipped and easy to move about in. It lacked for nothing and we spent three nights. The dining room table handled eight of us easily. Bedrooms were cute and comfortable. Our favorite area to gather was the loving room and the three comfy couches several movies were watched and lots of talking took place. Communication between host and our group was excellent—the best I have ever encountered in a vacation rental. We look forward to another stay perhaps next spring when the bluebonnets are blooming.
Four women who have been close friends for many years really enjoyed our stay at Bluebonnet Ridge. It is a large, comfortable home with a cozy, country feel. It was so nice to sit out on the back porch and take in the nice view. City folks will enjoy seeing the cattle and an occasional deer. Sunsets in the evening were so pretty! The home is very clean and well maintained and has a great layout. We all highly recommend this home!
Our family had a lovely time at Bluebonnet Ridge Farm. We were in town for our daughter's UMHB graduation, and this location and house fit exactly what we needed. We could not have been happier with the property, the view from the covered porch out back, and the house itself. The house was very well appointed and comfortable. The owners were excellent to respond to my communications and accommodating to our needs. I only wish we had the time to stay longer, as I could certainly imagine taking some downtime in this serene setting. I certainly hope to return again, and enjoy more bird and cattle watching while sipping tea on the swing from the back porch. We had a slight issue checking in, but it was due to the VRBO app not working properly for us. It was quickly resolved once the owners were made aware. All this to say, I would highly recommend spending some time at Bluebonnet Ridge Farm. Enjoy the love that has been poured into it.
We loved our stay at this home! We got to meet one of the owners and he was very kind and helpful! We loved learning about the farm and its history. The home is updated but keeps its county and historical beautify! It accommodated all 14 of us! The king back porch looking out over the landscape was the best!
property is off the beaten path in a very peaceful setting.
everything was super clean. pretty much everything we needed such as towels, soap, dish soap, etc,etc was furnished. the property manager was extremely fast at responding to any communication we had. I would highly recommend this rental
This is one of my favorites in Belton. Quiet and remote very comfortable and a lovely home. So close to everything it is truly a great location. Highly recommend !!!
Visited Bell County from Friday thru Sunday in late July 2023. The location is EZ to find and not far from the interstate and the city. The home is very clean, spacious, and inviting for visitors. Helena has everything labeled and everything you would need for a visit. The property is great for cross-country walking, and the white-tail deer are out and visible. We really enjoyed our stay and will return if our next dates are available. Thanks. Mark
Six of us rented this beautiful & comfortable home over Memorial Day weekend. It is located about a 7 minute drive outside of Salado on a ranch, only about a mile off IH35. It has 4 queen bedrooms, two are en suites, and two next to each other sharing another bath & a half bath is also located in the utility room off the kitchen. There’s also a bunk room w 4 beds upstairs. There are two porches with swings and rockers with beautiful views of the ranch. The house is fully furnished, with enough living areas to accommodate a big crowd! The water pressure in the showers is excellent and the kitchen is large with a great range & oven. Stocked with coffee, sugar, and lots of basics, along with dishes, pots & pans, and a full sized fridge rounds out a great environment to spend a day, a week, or a month. Keep in mind, though, that this is the country, and if you’re prone to attract mosquitoes, chiggers, or other creepy crawlers that live in grassy areas & woods, you’ll need plenty of bug spray.
Our family had a wonderful time at this location. The house was perfect for the 8 adults and smaller children. The house was large and very comfortable. The communication with host was easy and excellent. We were under a severe storm warning, as well as a tornado warning one evening, and the host quickly responded to our questions. Would stay here again with no hesitation.
**WARNING - This property has cameras and this is not disclosed anywhere in the description** They were left on the entire time we were there. I am all about security and have cameras at my properties, but as soon as I see a guest check in, then I turn them off. I also let them know they are there but off during their stay.
There was a lack of basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, salt, coffee and other miscellaneous items. However, the place is beautiful and had all the necessary equipment needed for cooking and even a grill to barbeque. It was clean, peaceful and quiet and a great place to stay if you are going to be in the city all day and want a nice quiet place to rest in the evening. They thought of every age group and even provided toys for kids. Everything was clearly labeled throughout the house so it was easy to find things.
The house, views, and open spaces were even better than anticipated, and the host is very nice with great communication. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again
The property was amazing inside and out. The kitchen and great room area was so perfect for cooking, visiting, and eating. That upstairs area was amazing! The kids were in heaven. Wonderful experience!
