About this property

Quiet area in cul-de-sac with paved roads only 1/2 mile off Hwy 64 between Highlands and Cashiers. All amenities include a generator to ensure your visit is continued in comfort if you experience a winter wonderland snow.

Three or more nights is $300 per night. Minimum 2 nights at $350 per night.

Minimum age 26. Cleaning is included. Linen (sheets and towels) are extra depending on number in party. Some renters prefer to bring their own. A sun room on the main level to enjoy reading, relaxing or eating in the dining area can be enjoyed by all. Downstairs is a sportsman's den with a 60' TV and pool table for the guys to enjoy while the women go shopping nearby. Only 5 miles to Highlands or Cashiers.

Fantastic

Wonderful Family Getaway

Our family of 8 adults enjoyed staying in this wonderfully equipped and lovely cabin. There was room for us to spread out and spacious living areas for us to spend time together as well. Convenient to town and to waterfalls, wonderful neighbors and great owners. We hope to return!

Beautiful Cabin

4 couples rented this cabin for a weekend wedding in the area. I would absolutely recommend this rental! The place is beautiful and secluded without being too far away from town. The beds were VERY comfortable, and the furniture is all very unique and lovely. The owners were extremely easy to work with as well, an added bonus!

Great house, close to town

Perfect place for a family/friends reunion!

We went to Highlands for a wedding over a long weekend and stayed two nights in this cabin... what a perfect place! We had four couples and we were more than comfortable there. There is a lot of great space to hang out, nice TVs, wi-fi, pool table... pretty much all you could want in a vacation house. The owner is very nice and accommodating as well. Highly recommend it!

Perfect for a large family gathering!

Wow! Four couples shared ...

Wow! Four couples shared this house and it was awesome. Didn't feel crowded at all with all the living space. Kitchen well equiped, comfortable bedrooms...just a fun house. We had a great time together!

Awesome Home!!

Look no further…What a fantastic home! There is nothing about the house that could be any better. This home is very private and cozy with all the extras that made our family get together perfect. It isn't until you actually walk in and look around at the many personal touches that you can appreciate this home. As an extra bonus, the owners were very friendly and easy to work with.

Fabulous weekend stay for a February wedding in Highlands

I highly recommend this beautiful cabin! We were in Highlands in February for a wedding. The owner was wonderful to work with. We were concerned about getting to the house due to snow and ice. The owner contacted the neighbors; the neighbors were extremely friendly and helpful; we all got to the house and really enjoyed the entire experience! We will definitely go back the next time we are in Highlands!

Family from Atlanta

We stayed here in October 2011. The house was beautiful, lots of room, and the owners were very attentive to our needs. You won't find a better deal in the area. Close to everything....Highlands, Cashiers, hiking, shopping, dining, and located in a nice quiet subdivision. We had nine adults and two children and never felt crowded. This was our first time to stay here or rent from these owners, but we highly recommend this place and will be staying here again in the near future.

A Real Getaway

This house slept 10 people very comfortably. The Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, etc. Having a downstairs with another tv and two bedrooms made it possible for people to have some quiettime if upstairs was a little loud. The pooltable was nice have as well. The only downside for me was the Master Bedroom didnt heat well, I tend to sleep in cold temps anyway so it didnt bother me. Grille, big flat screens, comfy beds, pool table, great fire place, what more could you ask for.

Great Family Reunion Set Up

We had a mini family reunion in the mountains. My wife and I with our son, daughter-in-law, daughter and two grandchildren. The house was perfect for us. Our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren took the downstairs and were able to spread out in their own apartment. My wife and I had the master suite and daughter took the other main floor bedroom. The loft was not used by us but could have easily accommodated another couple. The location is ideal, 1/2 way between Highlands and Cashiers. We spent time in both towns and spent money shopping in both towns. Plenty of neat shops particularly on Main Street in Highlands. We took the grands trout fishing down in Scaly Mountain and hit all the waterfall viewing spots nearby. We did hike up Whiteside which you need to be in shape for. It is about a mile one way with about 800 feet of elevation change, but worth the effort for the view of the continental divide. Food shopping is easy with Bryson's in Highlands and Ingles in Cashiers. We found Dusty's Meat market on the Dillard Road coming out of Highlands. He cut some beautiful filets which we did on the grill. We ate several breakfast/lunch meals at the Fresh Market in Highlands and got great food, it is semi self service though. Of course we found Kilwins for the grandkids (ha! Grandpa's favorite). It was our ideal getaway. Family retreat. Four couples can easily stay here. If you visit you will enjoy the place. We will be back!

Family Fun

This cabin is wonderful!! We were 10, and all had a place to sleep, dining and bathrooms were accommodating to our group, and the sunroom was just lovely. It is decorated exactly as you see in the pictures. I wish the hot tub outside was a working one, but that didn't put a dent on our stay. We will definitely be back. Enjoy! Great for big families like ours or a place to share with another family. Also, the directions are perfect. Location is fabulous. It is literally 5 miles from Highlands and 5 miles from Cashiers. Just perfect!!!!

Beautiful Mountian Getaway

This was a girls trip and with 9 women this was the perfect house for us. It's very roomy, well taken care of and in the perfect location. We would definitely stay here again.

Mountain Paradise feels like home.

We had such a wonderful stay in this lovely, well equipped and easy accessible cabin. It is beautifully furnished and comfortable. We had 8 ladies (3 in their 80's) in our group and had plenty of room and space. Very well equipped and clean. All the beds slept great. Bathrooms very roomy with plenty of linens. Owners very easy to work with and very accommodating. Its located convenient to town and in a beautiful setting. The layout of this home could accomodate two families comfortably. Highly recommend this home and look forward to staying there again. Felt like home!

Perfect Getaway

Couldn't have chosen a better place for our family to stay while attending a wedding in Highlands. Short distance to town in a beautiful setting. The fully equipped lower level allowed our grown children to have their privacy. The kitchen had everything needed for my wife to cook for the bridal luncheon. This one is a "can't miss" choice if you're going to the Highlands area.

GREAT LOG CABIN!

Only 2 hours away from Atlanta! Celebrated our kids 40th birthday in this beautiful home. This log home had all we were looking for! Plenty of room for the 10 of us. Cozy and Comfortable! Kids & adults really enjoyed the pool table! Short drive into town. All the comforts of home! Definitely recommend this property to our friends and relatives!

Wonderful Mountain Getaway

Enjoyed our stay over the holidays and enjoyed the beautiful snow! Very roomy and lots of extras such as several tv's, surround sound, pool table, etc...! Clean and nicely decorated! Impressed by the well-stocked kitchen for cooking meals, too. Owners are great with communication and add that "extra" touch! Convenient to downtown Highlands and we enjoyed dining and shopping there during our stay. Hope to stay here again in the future!
