Escape to this newly renovated (2021) tranquil home located within the Estates of Lake Toxaway with amazing views of the mountains and Lake Toxaway, the largest private lake in North Carolina, surrounded by Hawk Mountain, Panthertail Mountain, Cold Mountain and Mt. Toxaway. Lake Toxaway is 3 miles long and 1 mile wide with a marina that you can rent boats (for a fun day on the lake, waterskiing or fishing), canoes, paddle boards, and kayaks (by the hour, day or week) or just take in the beauty. A newly built fire pit and patio, just in time for summer s’mores. Additional 1 bedroom full kitchen apartment with washer/dryer available for extra fee.

New to Lake Toxaway for Summer 2024 - "The Nest" - Youth & Adult Amenity. Ropes Course and Climbing Wall. ·The Nest is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm Five (5) days a week. Closed on Sundays and Wednesdays. ·Reservations are required with two options available 10:00am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 4:00pm.
·Reservations can be made up to five days in advance by calling the Club's Reception Desk (828) 966-4020.· A $35 fee will be charged for all unaccompanied guests and renters. · Questions should be sent by email to Tucker Foster, Director of The Nest. Great house and location!

We were visiting Lake Toxaway for a wedding, and the house was perfect for our group of friends and family. Plenty of room, well-appointed kitchen, and great decks with fantastic views. Highly recommended!

Fabulous stay

The house was gorgeous. High quality furniture and bedding. Absolutely loved the place! Had a minor problem with the water due to the freeze and the manager had it fixed immediately. Would love to stay there again.

Great WNC property

Had an amazing stay at this property in Lake Toxaway! House was gorgeous, spotless, and had all the little extras you would want. The view from the deck is amazing and the house itself is high end but also cozy. Can't recommend this place enough!

Beautiful home and stunning location!

Our family time was during the holiday break with our kids and grandchildren and we choose to spend it in Lake Toxaway this year. House was large, beautifully appointed, and VERY well stocked! Our only issue was a loss of power during our stay that lasted about 14 hours due to weather and Barbara was not only apologetic (for circumstances out of her control), but offered some alternative solutions to get us through. We made due by visiting some of the area's local shopping and restaurants. :) We thoroughly enjoyed the house and the area. Lots to do!

Trip for Aunt’s surprise 90th bday

My brother and I brought our dad to his sister’s surprise 90th birthday. The home was 5 minutes from the party and 15 minutes from my Aunts. Would stay here again for any reason! A very clean, organized and welcoming home. Best ever!

Amazing Cabin and Perfect for Our Family

We couldn't have asked for a better cabin and loved every part of it. We have been vacationing in this area for the last 10 years and have stayed in many different cabins but this one was by far the best one! Great for our family, perfect design/layout and had everything you would want in a cabin. They provided plenty of extra little things that make the experience even better and was much appreciated! Will definitely be coming back here for all future trips.

We liked the layout with two rooms and a tv area downstairs. the property manager contacted me a few days before our arrival, and everything went smoothly. this is a one of the most updated and clean homes we've ever rented, and we would rent again without hesitation.

Fabulous house!

This house was fabulous! Had everything we needed. It was stocked better than any rental we have ever been in. Beautiful decor, comfortable couch, absolutely spotless and a great view from the deck! I highly recommend it! Only thing missing is a full-length mirror which we only needed because we were going to wedding events during our stay. Had we been there on vacation we would not have needed it. Can't say enough about how comfortable our stay was over the weekend!

Perfect multi-family week in the mountains!

Our family of three shared the space with two other families and were very impressed with the space, location, and overall feel of the property. We had a couple requests during the week and the property manager responded immediately. The game room is in a detached garage which is perfect for late night fun when others want a quiet sleep. The kitchen is well-stocked and large enough for 6 adults and 2 kids to cook and eat comfortably. We had rainy weather most of the week so the deck with gas fireplace was a welcome draw to get some fresh air. The wood burning fire pit was also fun when the weather cooperated. We were able to enjoy several trails, breweries, and other local activities -- all within a 20-45 minute drive. Be sure to seek out all the waterfall trails!

House that has it all

Wonderful location. Short drive up the mountain from the house is Panthertown Valley trail access with hikes to many waterfalls. House is great for families or a group of friends. Several separate living areas indoor and out to allow people not to feel crowded. Well equipped kitchen. Absolutely plan to return.

Wonderful property, relaxing stay

Home was recently renovated and was beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked and great layout. Back deck was a great place to enjoy morning coffee and have meals as well. Gas grill was in great working order. The pool and ping pong table along with dart board in garage were nice activities to do at night or during a passing rain shower. Firepit was great as well. Just an overall nice property. Hope to return in the future.

We so enjoyed this beautiful and spacious home overlooking spectacular views of mountains and Lake Toxaway. Our daughter was married at The Greystone Inn and this home was the perfect home to accommodate our family and in great proximity to the lake. We have a fabulous time!

Magnificent Mountain Get-Away

We just had the most amazing week at this new property listing in Lake Toxaway. It was a newly updated, upscale but cozy cabin get-away in a safe neighborhood, with excellent wifi, a well stocked kitchen, immaculate grounds, amazing porches, decks, and a firepit area with views of the private lake, and was well located for all of our day trips (e.g. hiking, waterfalls, boating, fishing, Biltmore tour, white water rafting) and evenings out for dinner in quaint restaurants in Cashiers (esp. Winslow's where we received an impromptu concert from Manager Edgar). There were even bonus ping pong and billiard tables in the finished garage which our teens loved. We highly recommend this property and hope to return!!!

Our family purchased this home after renting various homes within Lake Toxaway with our 3 daughters. It became our favorite place to vacation and we love everything about this home and it’s location.

What makes this property unique

The property is currently going through a major interior renovation including opening up kitchen to living area, new bathrooms, new kitchen, hardwood floors throughout upstairs with brand new carpet in lower level. We also have a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment located above garage with full kitchen and washer/dryer available to rent together or as a separate unit (please inquire as price does not include this space)
