We stayed for 2 nights in this rustic cabin. It is very quiet and relaxing. Its a perfect place to get away to for a relaxing weekend. The owners are responsive to messages and handle issues quickly if needed.
This cabin is so quaint and comfortable. We loved having modern amenities while relaxing on this historical property. The grounds are beautiful and you can enjoy the mountains from your porch. This property is 10 minutes from The Cumberland Gap Park and Kentucky. Highly recommend this great place!!!
We had a great time, but there lots of spider webs, there was a lot of ants by the coffee machine and in the basket where the sugar was, and a pretty big leak from the rain by the wall by the stairs but overall we enjoyed our stay
We stayed for 4 days visiting family and had a great time. The cabin was clean, though my kids pointed out a few cobwebs. There is a clawfoot tub, no shower, which is good to know ahead of your stay in my opinion. Check-in was easy, the owners were responsive to messages, and my kids appreciated the snacks. Overall positive stay!

the space was beautiful and made us feel comfortable. the sunset was magic and we were able to eat outside. The children were running and playing games. we had a great two days.
Lovely cabin and location! This really is like a step back in time, with modern conveniences. Loved the look of the cabin, while still maintaining the old time feel. Owners were extremely communicative with any questions. Lovely experience for a weekend getaway to do some hiking!
Cabin was very comfortable and host provided many nice extra touches: coffee/tea, snacks, water, toothbrushes…
Great location close to Cumberland Gap Visitor’s Center, trails and restaurants in town of Cumberland Gap. Gave it a 4 for cleanliness because windows could use a little attention.

Cute on the outside, but will never stay there again. My husband had to do some repairs not worth it
Not happy, not worth the money husband had to do some repairs. Toilet backs up plunger in there was broke wall plate in the living room was broke had to replace it because I had my two-year-old grandson with me dangerous the towel rack in the bathroom was broke my husband fixed it. You touch the walls you get splinters that’s never mentioned Birds living in the chimney, maybe babies chirping all day and night you should give people heads up on this stuff the floors were nasty like they haven’t been swept just the overall experience will never do that again there way too much money for what we went through mouse turds in the drawer that should’ve been cleaned out before we got there just wasn’t happy. Wish I would’ve went to a motel.
Wonderful experience! Great communication from host. It was very primitive and we loved it! We said several times it was liking staying on little house on the prairie. It would be really nice if parking could be closer as it's quite the walk, and with luggage, it can be a bit of a chore. Otherwise, we were very pleased and hope to stay again in the future.
I spent the last 2 weeks in this amazing little cabin. The whole vibe is relaxing & the bed is super comfy. Strong wifi, great soaking tub, ample cabinet and storage for all of my things. 10/10
The Cabin is lovely. Be aware the you are in close proximity to a large house and there may be (in our case) a large party going on/staying. We were not sure on how much of the property we could stroll. There are lots of outdoor lights -- great for not stumbling around, but bad for star gazing.
This cabin was exactly as advertised and a perfect cozy stay for our party of 4 adults, two kids and a lab. The peaceful setting was amazing for the occasional deer watching and a cup of coffee w the sunrise over the mountains. I will book again for our group. The kitchen was stocked fully to cook even with salt and pepper. Oh and the fully stocked coffee and tea selection was a huge bonus. Note, we did grab a fan from the Walmart down the road for the upstairs loft as it was a little warm for our preference. The bed is super comfy! Great spot.
Cabin was nice and well equipped. It is a great location with easy access to the surrounding parks. Owner was friendly and very accommodating. Will stay again!
The cabin was historical and exactly what they promoted. Enjoyed the experience.
No hitches in the process. Had to reach out about checkin process, within the last 24 hours before checkin but the owners responded and the process was problem free.
Had firearm training at Valor Ridge and this cabin was the perfect place to spend the night. Brought my Weber with and grilled a steak each night and enjoyed the cabin and atmosphere. It is rustic so it may not appeal to everyone. It has a nice television, kitchen, comfortable bed, and claw foot tub. Some snacks, shampoo, soap, pans, coffee, plates and utensils are there to make things easy.
I will be back next time in the area for more training.
