Lovely apartment - Awfully late checkin
This is a lovely new apartment furnished to a very high quality. The apartment itself was superb, however the check-in was absolutely appalling. We arrived in resort at 8am, did pre-checkin paperwork at 10am at the agents "shop". We were then told the apartment would not be available until maybe 5pm!! I expressed this was very poor and hopefully it would be available much earlier. We were told he would ring us as soon as it was ready... This was not True... After waiting until 4:15 pm I decided to go back to the agency, only to find a long queue of very frustrated people. I queued for over 1hr, during which time the agents phone rang endlessly and was left unanswered. The agency was manned by a single person dealing with everyone trying to checkin across the resort!! I finally got the keys around 5:30pm, but I suspect others would still have been left queuing until after 7pm.
The apartment was very modern, but all the smart devices were in French, and there was no Welcome booklet at all. Took us a couple of days to work out the heating (Underfloor) which took a long time to have any effect.. Luckily it also has a pellet burner, which we did manage to figure out eventually and produce some instant heat. Never managed to get the under cabinet kitchen lights working - which had a remote but did nothing. A nice gentleman came in on the Monday evening to check all OK, but had less idea than we had.. We left him with a list of actions, but he never returned...
