The cabin is nicely tucked away on the edge of woods off a rural road. The cabin was immaculate with a pleasant wood smell.
It was stocked with all basics as you'd expect. The country store, a short walk away, was the perfect spot for coffee and breakfast. We only wished that the shower head was adjustable and the bed was not so squeaky. We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway!
Lovely motel-type room, with small kitchenette area. We rented it because we needed an extra room for family coming to visit in the area. Check in was very easy.
Only complaint : The extra VRBO and cleaning fees (its basically a hotel room) and having to purchase an additional breakage policy was kind of annoying and added another
Lovely cottage with all one needs for a stay of a couple of days. Recommend the owner to buy a new mattress as the only part that can be improved. We also couldn’t find a corkscrew which luckily we brought ourselves.
Cabin is nice and cozy but not much interaction with the owners not much info we ask on things do around and was told there info at the store we went down but did not find out any info
My husband and I stayed in the Cabin in the Pines located in a quiet woodsy area very close to Lake George. The cabin was perfect for our stay and owners were a pleasure to work with. Bonus was having their country store right near by which served delicious breakfast sandwiches scones and other tasty offerings. Also had a nice gift shop and grocery items. This cabin, although very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Lake George Village, was close to everything and we had the perfect weather as well. We would definitely stay again in this lovely cabin. Perfect for two!
Spotless cabin with nice kitchenette, although we took advantage of the great country store nearby for their famous breakfast options. Had everything we needed. Some may consider it small -- it's the size of a roomy hotel room — but it worked for us city apartment dwellers. Good location about 10-15 minutes from heart of Lake George, close to decent restaurants and activities. Would definitely stay again.
This cabin was the perfect size for my husband, me, and our infant. We loved being able to walk to the Cleverdale Country Store for breakfast and coffee every morning, while still feeling like the cabin was private and tucked away. It was very convenient to drive to Lake George. The cabin itself was well-maintained and clean. We would highly recommend it!
Loved the cabin. It's a bit bright in the morning, so you need your eye pads if you like to sleep in. Shower was hot. Bed mattress not as good as home, but good enough. I'd stay again!
Our stay at Cabin in the Pines was perfect in every way. From check in , extra parking for our trailer, the comfort and location of the cabin and the general store having anything else that you would want or need. The hard working hosts were available if you need anything and Meg cooks a mean breakfast sandwich. We had a great long weekend riding around the area on the motorcycle and looked forward to relaxing at the peaceful cabin at the end of the day. We look forward to coming back again. Thank you Meg and Jeff
The cabin is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of things to do in the area. The leaves were just starting to change. Enjoyed visiting a few antique shops and breweries.
This is such a nice, quiet area and the cabin was so perfect-we wish we could have spent more of our stay there!! There was a storm the first night and no power into the next day but this establishment and the store has a generator so everything was perfect! Meg and Jeff are awesome and wonderful hosts! All their store/cafe employees are very friendly and hospitable! Would def stay there again!
Cat rave, enough- Meg, Jeff, the cabin, the store. Very short drive to the busy village, two great restaurants on the way, and back to the cabin for peace, quiet, and a campfire.
nice very quiet very private cabin with access to the general store .. everything was as it was represented online ... had a peaceful week-long stay here
The cabin was a great little spot to sleep at while visiting the area. We were able to do a bit of stargazing one night which was great. Also the Vermonter breakfast sandwich from the general store started our trip home off right.
We truly enjoyed our stay..... was the perfect cabin for the 2 of us. Everything was so new and clean. Had everything we needed and we enjoyed the privacy. Owners, Meg and Jeff were so pleasant and easy to deal with. 100% Recommend!!
