About this property
Home Away From Home on Ridgewood Road
We bought this house the summer of 2020 after it had been completely remodeled that spring. It’s perfect for extended stays, a long weekend or even just a night. It’s truly just a home away from home!

My family and I have enjoyed the Neosho city wide yards sales for over a decade. We live less than an hour away and can easily drive back and forth. This year we decided to stay. The house was very well located to everything. With the garage, we had plenty of room to park.
We arrived around 9:30 at night to stay for the night so we would be closer to an event we were attending the next day. After a 3 1/2 hour drive we walked into a house that was soooooo cold. It was 53 degrees! We turned up the heat but the bedrooms didn’t heat up very fast. I was cold all night and didn’t get much sleep!!!
Family & friends Thanksgiving, full turkey dinner, much visiting, cooking and eating. Some of the kids & grandkids came for dinner. Great 3 day visit with life long friends & family. Can’t wait for next year. The house & location were great.
The property is easy to get to and has a great backyard with deck that we spent lots of time enjoying. You can park in the garage which is a first for us in a Vrbo. There's a business across the street and on one side. Neither presented any problem.
The property was older and simple but immaculate and comfortable. My elderly mom and adult brother and I stayed there so it was perfect with 3 bedrooms. And 2 1/2 bathrooms and washer and dryer. It was stocked with more than we expected; including coffee/filters and of course fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Everything was perfect and a very quiet location. Even had a garage with opener. The hostess was amazing and helpful!
Our family was very comfortable during our visit. The homeowner was very kind to provide new cookie baking sheets, as she knew we needed to bake cookies.
House was as described with a huge backyard that was beautiful! House had 3 bedrooms with a 4th "room" in the basement. All rooms and baths were clean and stocked with bare essentials as well as LOTS of towels available for use.
The house is very near all of the amenities of Neosho and has all of the comfort of home. we had all the room we needed and it was perfect for our family. The host was very easy to communicate with and we will certainly book again.
Stayed for 2 weeks. The house was perfect for me and my wife. The owner was responsive and helpful. House had everything we needed The House was close to town and easy to get everywhere.
We really enjoyed our stay in Neosho. The house was even better than the pictures. The basement area was a perfect spot for my son and his family with little ones to stay and have their space to sleep. The beds were comfy and plenty of what we needed in the kitchen to make the stay feel like home away from home.
The home was beautiful & very clean. The owner was a pleasure to communicate with - very accommodating & pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would certainly consider this property on future trips.
We came in for a Family reunion! This cute home was comfortable, clean & had everything you could ask for (well thought out amenities). The beds were very comfortable. It is located
not far from town & an easy drive to caves, parks, museums. The price & homeiness FAR OUTWEIGH a hotel! THANKS for such a PEACEFUL time!
It was a great place to stay while visiting family and for family to stop by for a little visit. Although it looks small on the outside, the inside was very spacious and homey. It was a pleasure to stay at this peaceful property.
