Great place to stay for golf vacation. Plenty of rooms (and bathrooms) to handle our large group. Jessica was very responsive to any need we had. Outstanding view of the valley and very peaceful setting!
Lots of room for guests, beautiful view out back and comfortable accommodations. We loved that you could drive to a lot where you can ski right to the lifts and be transported to Boyne by shuttle.
This is the second time we have stayed at this house and would certainly return! Great space, clean, everything we needed was right there. Awesome to have a big group - lots of room to spread out.
Very large house, great open spaces for a large group of friends. Definitely need AWD vehicles, there was a light dusting of snow when we stayed and some sedans had trouble getting up some of the hills leading to the lodge. Communication with owner was smooth. There is a whole-house audio system that was a little tricky to figure out, as was some of the AV equipment for the large theater room. Nice hot tub, wet bar, fireplaces. Great place, will probably go back!
Such a great property for multiple families. Make sure to build time into your stay to spend a day just relaxing in the great room enjoying the view or the fire.
Our stay at this vacation home was great. Very clean, comfortable, and providing all necessary amenities. Located in a quiet, wooded neighborhood it is close to many activity spots. I would recommend this home for anyone interested.
We stayed with multiple families for the weekend. The house was clean, the hot tub was great, and there were plenty of beds for everyone. The location was great and close to Boyne Mountain. Would highly recommend this house!
We had a great time hanging out with family! Lot of room to spread out! Hosts response to any questions was great. Very accommodating!

Yearly Vacation
The house was beautiful with plenty of room for our family of 15. The view was fantastic. We were disappointed that you did not respond to our call reporting the outage of electricity on the island.followed a few days later by a similar issue with the outlets on either side of the sink (pushing the reset button did not remedy the situation). We had an issue with the mice twice downstairs, but actually led to some hilarious memory making moments. We had one mishap with a full length mirror but replaced it with its equal. We enjoyed all the attractions nearby and despite the issues mentioned,we were all together as a family and we enjoyed our trip.
This house is even better in person. Very clean. All the amenities you need. Gorgeous views. The owners were very responsive to any and all questions and issues. Overall great experience and hope to stay again!
Accommodations were perfect for our family of 18! It was so nice to have all under one roof. There was plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and pool table were a hit! The house was well stocked with toiletries etc. The guys had an epic week of golf. Hope to return next year😎👍
There are two things most of us agreed could be up dated…television in theater room and bed linens
The pictures don't really do it justice, it is gorgeous. A little weird that in the upstairs lofts, you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other - nice that they have separate bathrooms though! Carpet needs to be replaced throughout, and the cleaners could have been more thorough by cleaning out the fireplace and the grill, but it was nothing we couldn't overcome, and the property manager promptly acknowledged the feedback. The hottub and game room were FANTASTIC, and we cooked many meals in the beautiful and very functional kitchen. We will return the next time we visit Michigan!!
Property was very spacious and nice but lacked adequate maintenance. After one day of usage the hot tub ceased operation. Maintenance man arrived to check chemical balance, checked tub and advised the panel burned out and would be unable to get repair part for a week. Grill was filthy and unusable due to rusted heating elements which did not generate enough heat to cook with. Carpeting in spots was overworn and torn. Using the stove was hazardous as the oven door would fall to the floor pinning ones foot underneath it. Gounds themselves could use some sweeping and weed cutting that detracted from the beauty of the premises. Christmas decorations from previous year were still in place. Overall, however we had a wonderful time due to space and structure of the building. With just a little bit of preventive maintenance the facility would be astonishing.

Family Christmas Dec8-12th
Let me begin by saying this lodge offers an absolutely spectacular view of the Boyne Mountain property, unfortunately the positives end there. Our family rented the Valley View lodge to celebrate Christmas, my husband and I arrived a day early so we could decorate the place before our children and grandchildren arrived. Good thing we did.
Upon entering the kitchen we noticed a foul smell. After some investigation we discovered the source to be standing water in the dishwasher. Fortunately, my husband was able to resolve the issue. When we opened the refrigerator we were quite surprised to find a fair amount of opened food stuffs (salad dressings, jellies, coffee creamer, etc.). We found a similar situation in the pantry (pancake mix, crackers, cereal, etc.). The owner (Natalie) claimed this was “paying it forward”. Don’t know about you but I am not comfortable eating open food stuffs left behind by someone I don’t know. Besides we needed the room for the food items we had brought. Had a similar odor issue in one of the downstair bathrooms only this time the source was a dead and decaying mouse caught in a trap in the linen closet. But the most annoying problem of all was the infestation of Western Conifer Seed Bugs (aka Stink Bugs). You should Google this critter, they’re not small or pretty! We killed over twenty of these bugs before guests arrived but they still continued to show up.This place is not well maintained; carpet is stained (don’t rearrange the furniture),
This is the second year we have stayed at Valleyview Lodge. And we hope to return next year. Clean, well-stocked with towels, fireplace wood, kitchenware, foosball and pool table, great hot tub overlooking an incredible view. Manager helped us through a problem, and checked again to make sure it was resolved. Highly recommend!
Multiple families shared this house for a weekend soccer tournament in Petoskey. Loved the layout, loved the view, loved the amenities, loved the furnishings - no complaints whatsoever!! Definitely would recommend!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and extremely well equipped with loads of entertainment! Nearby towns were very conveniently located and the guys played some awesome golf!! We will definitely be returning!!
This house is great for a large group. The house has lots of space and everything needed and the view is fantastic. We enjoyed walking to the lifts and even down to the resort. Highly recommend.
My family and I, 14 of us in total from ages 1-77, all really enjoyed this place! It’s a really peaceful setting with an awesome valley view from the back of the house. The stars are beautiful at night away from the lights. Everything was well set up in the place and there’s a lot to do in the area. We had a great time!
This home was perfect for our family! Kids loved the upstairs sleeping arrangement and adults all had their own space. Loved the downstairs game room and easy access to backyard. Kitchen and dining room were perfect for large groups!
