Guests will have access to the entire home and the driveway to park. This is a gated community where short term rentals are not permitted (only 30+), and the community is very walkable. There will be no one else on the property, other than the occasional gardener and pool man, unless otherwise discussed with you in advance.
One complimentary mid-stay cleaning is offered every 30 days. Additional cleanings may be arranged with the Reservations Department at an extra cost.

La Quinta is a quiet, peaceful and beautiful place to call home. The community has voted against short term rentals, unlike Palm Springs, and so there is more of a community feel to the area. The area is perfect for biking and hiking, and has great restaurants a few blocks away. The cove refers to the community nestled in the mountains, so the area is well protected from the wind. This is a perfect family friendly neighborhood to enjoy your vacation!
This home is located in a private community, and features a beautiful lake and mountain views. We recommend walking around the community in the morning and early evening once the sun sets over the mountain, to really feel like you are a local.
Most people choose to have a car when visiting Southern California. There are an abundant amount of unique and significant attractions within two hours of this home. If you’re an explorer, we recommend a car.
If you’re the type that wants to arrive and relax at the house on your vacation, Uber and Lyft are readily available as well.

Our property management team cares for each home, and our goal is to have each home properly maintained before you step foot in the home. We make your check in and check out process a breeze, and simply ask you to turn off the lights/AC and lock up on departure. Our team is well versed in the local community, and we offer each guest a personalized set of recommendations before your stay, with the goal of making your stay a truly unforgettable experience.

This property has a private pool/spa that can be heated during your stay. The nightly rate for this option is $50 to heat to a standard temperature of 82 degrees. It is an additional $30/day to heat to 85 degrees and an additional $75/day to heat to 90 degrees. This is billed separately and must be confirmed and paid prior to arrival. Please let us know at the time of booking if you choose this option. This additional heating fee is subject to local taxes. *Minimum 2-days of heat required
OPEN AIR HOMES HOUSE RULES
-Minimum Age of Primary Renter: 25 years old
- The AC cannot be set lower that 75 degrees when the outdoor temperature exceeds 100s. If tampering with the HVAC equipment causes any issues which require a service call and/or repairs, this will be billable to your party
- Tampering with pool equipment that causes any issues which require a service call and/or repairs will be billable to your party.
By booking with us, you agree to sign our Rental Agreement.You understand that your check-in instructions will be sent after successfully signing our Rental Agreement.
Please note that in the State of CA, guests staying over 30 nights are legally required to sign a legal CAR form with the DRE. Our Broker of Record will send you this CAR form for signature once payment is made. Your reservation will be considered ready to go once the form is signed!
There is a 10-day grace period to return any items taken from the home at check-out (keys, garage remotes, etc). Replacement costs will be charged to guests if items are not received within 10 days of check-out.
All 30+ day stays require mid stay cleaning by our professional housekeeping team. This is a full clean of the house and change of linens. We pay our cleaners a fair, livable wage and we always strive to hire the best, most reliable and honest cleaners in the business. This team is the backbone of our company, and they work tirelessly to ensure every stay is a clean one!
PET FEES: For stays under 30 days, there is a non-refundable fee of $150 per pet. For month+ stays, there is a non-refundable fee of $300 per pet. Pets and animals are not permitted at the property at any time whatsoever unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to booking. Failure to comply with this will result in additional charge up to $1000 and/or eviction without limiting any other legal or equitable remedies available to Owner and/or Company.
