At True North Cabin Rentals we have 5 cabin’s together with nice lake views from the 1 acre resort property. Cabin #4 is a open loft, two bedroom, one bath cabin for rent at beautiful Higgins Lake that sleep 10. Included you will find a 1 queen bed in each bedroom, 2 full & 1 twin bed in the loft, couch, tv/dvds, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans linens, towels and everything else you will need for your fun filled summer vacation, along with a fire pit, BBQ grill, hammock and horse shoes. A nice shallow sandy beach and Public dock just steps from the cabin. The Silver Dollar Bar just one block up the street and party store less than a mile away. Cabin is located at 119 Thorpe Ave. Higgins Lake MI. Pontoons, Fishing & Ski Boats, Jet Skis, Paddleboards, Kayaks, ATVs, Scooters, and UTVs available for rent at a discounted price for all renters through GO FAST Rentals that is also one block away.
PETS OK! (Pet fee is $45 per pet) Campfire wood available for purchase on property.

Perfect spot for a family gathering especially with the other nearby cabins. Easy walk to the lake and extremely cute neighborhood.

Enjoyable Getaway

We loved the short walk to see the sunrise each morning and bonfires at night. Peaceful location respectful neighbors with lake access and boat rentals in walking distance.

We’ve stayed with Jeremy a few times now, first time in cabin 4. As expected, it was awesome. Very clean and ready for us when we arrived. Great location to the trails, we will absolutely be back

Family Get together

We actually rented 3 of the cabins - it was perfect for a quick little family get together . A short walk to the beach , we also rented a pontoon boat for a day and cruised around the lake . Made good use of the BbQ & firepit .

Annual Family Higgins Lake Trip

My extended family visits Higgins Lake every year. This year we needed a cabin instead of a tent. We could have put our two kids and their significant others in this rental with us. Will use them again.

Great getaway location

Higgins lake vaca

Very nice! Clean, quiet, can walk to Higgins lake access right down the street. Also Higgins lake state park is 1.7 miles away. Very nice beach! Jeremy the Host was excellent at communicating with us. He’s close by. He stopped in to welcome us. He communicated by text with us too!

Enjoyed the accommodations, atmosphere and the availability to take in the views and activities that higgins lake allows. The accommodations are very clean and Jeremy and crew are very accommodating. We most definitely will return!

Nice cabin

Place is clean and freshly updated. Owner is responsive. The AC is portable, adequate but not ideal. Furniture is new but rental property quality. Check in/out is very easy. 30 yards from the water. Could be improved with one or two small quiet window ACs.

Fall fun at Higgins

Loved our stay, clean, very nice interior cozy and comfortable. Could have used a few more blankets. Water had sulfur smell but wouldn’t deter us from returning.

Cute cottage close to Lake

This was the perfect place for our ice fishing trip. It was very clean and cozy with our family of 5 and 2 dogs. This cottage is in a great location with access to the lake. The host, Jeremy was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Good location

Close to lake. Sleeps 8-9 comfortably. Small living area but if you don’t plan to spend a lot of time inside it is great. Covered porch was nice on rainy days.
