This 3 bedroom 2 bath, veteran owned home sits on half an acre with plenty of room to park your boat and jet skis. Relax on the front porch swing, at the fire pit, or on the back deck and watch deer as they roam through the yard! Take your boat, jet skis, and kayaks down to boatramp 8, less than 2 minutes away, and explore the beautiful, clear clean waters of Canyon Lake.
Just 5 minutes to Cranesmill Park and Marina as well as other parks, boat rentals and great places to eat. Looking to tube the Guadalupe River?? Float the river during the day and catch a concert at night at Whitewater Ampitheater, all just 11 miles away. Visit the famous Tanger Outlet Center in San Marcos and shop till you drop. Take a walk through historic Gruene and visit the oldest dance hall in Texas then cruise on over to Naegelin's bakery in New Braunfels, the oldest bakery in Texas, and try some authentic and delicious German strudel! You won't regret it!! Wineries, Breweries, Wimberley, and San Antonio are all nearby. Walk the Dam, hike and bike our trails, try some awesome Texas brisket. There's so much to do!! Canyon Lake Getaway

The house was cozy and cute. There was plenty of room for everyone. It was a perfect getaway, peaceful wildlife, and centrally located to all locations we had planned. As a photographer it had perfect locations around the lake for handheld shots as well as aeriel shots.

The house had large rooms and everything was very clean. I loved the vintage hardwood floors. It was close to the lake, but we were spending most of out time in town. The hostess was good and the house access was simple and easy. The departure requirements were also easy.

We stayed here 3 nights to split up our drive to the beach. It was great! So cute and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. It would be a great place if you had a boat because it’s so closer to the lake.

Weekend getaway with old friends

This property was clean, close to the lake and vineyards. We enjoyed this property and what it offered. We walked to the lake, built a fire in the fire pit at night and took a trip into Wimberly. We also wine tasted at Cruz de Comal Vineyard which is just a couple of miles away. I would recommend this rental.

Great Property

Great property that was easy to get to. I wish the lake access was a little more convenient that it was to get to, but overall that was minor. The lake was still within walking distance. None the less, the property was great. Loved the firepit and spacious lot within a quiet neighborhood.

Nice Home in Canyon Lake

The house has been recently and tastefully remodeled. Very clean and accommodating on the interior. Outside grounds could be maintained anpittle better but with the wildlife/deer probably make that a small challenge. Overall, I would recommend this properly!property

The perfect house

Went with friends for the weekend, boated, floated, and grilled. We had the best time! It was within 5 minutes of a boat ramp & 20 minutes of the River. The house is so cute & up to date. No complaints! Thanks for having us!

We loved the house. It was comfortable and beautiful. We were disappointed in the lake. It was low and the boat ramps were closed. We were unable to access it.

A Great Weekend!

This space was great. Clean, spacious and close to the action. This home acted as a great launching point for 6 friends who planned an adventurous weekend. Close to the banks of the Guadalupe River for our float trip. Even closer to the shores of Canyon lake. And located near several wineries. I recommend this space; and know that my friends and I will be back. Thank you, Risa!

Beautiful, clean & peaceful

This lake house was even better than photos! We met my husband's sister's family there. Master was separate side of house from other 2 bedrooms. Must have a thick wall because the baby crying in the middle of the night woke no one except his parents. Neighborhood was quiet the weekend we stayed. We though neighbors may be bothersome hanging out in the front yard but we really didn't see anyone. Enjoyed the firepit and front porch with plenty chairs for us 8. Intstacart even delivers there to save time getting groceries delivered when we arrived! They had plenty sheets for beds and couches. Prior to coming, the owner gave recommendations on my questions on where to swim and very responsive to our needs. Glad for fair pricing to borrow their beautiful home. We will be back!

Perfect house for a family of 6

We enjoyed our stay at canyon lake. The property was very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and it was perfect for our family of 6. The house was close to the lake so we took our boat out daily.
