3 BR Cozy // Modern Cabin in the White Mountains

Located in the cherished Waterville Estates neighborhood, enjoy the comforts of home, coupled with the amenities of a resort! Relax in front of the warm stove, curl up with a book on the loft, or create home-cooked meals in the brand new, open-concept kitchen.

On the upper level find the Master Bedroom with King size (Nectar mattress) bed, en-suite bathroom, and beautiful views. Across the hall find the second bedroom with a full sized bed. The lower level has a living room, 3/4 bathroom, and another private bedroom with two sturdy bunkbeds with memory foam mattresses.

Waterville Estates Community Center - We have 2 passes that will allow 2 people (8 years of age or older) into the Community Center (1/2 mile from the home) for free.

Please note, children 7 and under are free. Also, please note there be a charge for any additional people 8 years of age or older.

$10 on weekdays (day pass)

$20 on weekends (day pass)

Easy access to Campton Mountain (separate passes available for purchase).

Great 4 Night Stay

My family of 4 had a great stay. My boys (ages 12 & 14) loved having their own space in the lower level TV room as well as the bunk room. The kitchen and main living area had everything we needed to cook in 3 of our 4 nights. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was nice and quiet during the day and evening. Convenient to Waterville Valley and 93. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Beautiful house in the woods

This was a comfortable home with lots of open space. The kitchen/living room area has large picture windows looking out on gorgeous woods and to mountain views. Perfect for an autumn visit. It's close to cafes and restaurants and beautiful drives into the White Mountains. Very comfortable mattresses too.

Perfect Home

We booked this trip for a much needed get away and we had such an amazing time. Location was perfect, outdoor activities perfect, dining -perfect and the accommodations were superb. Everything you could need and the house was so inviting and peaceful. Will definitely book Anither visit !

Great visit at this lovely renovated home

This house was a perfect place for our small family to meet up. The location is perfect and near so many fun activities and the space was lovely and conducive for family meals and gathering. The fire pit was a great place to make s'mores after dinner, the porch provided a perfect backdrop for dinner, and it was great to have the grill to use too. This house was lovely and the beds were super comfy too! The hosts were very responsive and you can tell they really care about and maintain this property well.

Wonderful stay in the woods!

The Birchwood Lodge was an absolutely perfect home for our 10-day family visit in NH! It not only was exactly as described in the listing, but exceeded our expectations. The bedrooms on the second floor were both lovely, with a cozy, loft-style queen room, and an incredibly comfortable king in the master suite. The living room was perfectly set up for movie nights at home, while also providing lovely views into the trees and lots of light in the morning. The kitchen was thoroughly well-stocked, allowing us to cook several family meals at home. All of the modern finishings clearly were thoughtfully selected to offer a beautifully updated cabin experience. Lauren and Patrick were fabulous hosts, and we would love to come back for our next trip north!

A lovely place!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautifully renovated, light-filled, very comfortable home nestled in the woods of New Hampshire. It’s far enough from everything to offer peace and quiet, yet close enough to many attractions. You’ll feel like you’re living in a modern, well-equipped tree house. The kitchen has everything you’ll need. The bedrooms are inviting and comfortable. The rental includes access to indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis, and more at the recreation center nearby. That was the icing on the cake!

Fabulous!

Beautiful, well described property nestled close to all the White Mountains have to offer. Accompanied by my best friend and my two teens, this truly comfortable home offered more than enough space in a lovely community. Hosts were super responsive. Would happily stay here again!!! Thanks!

Wonderful home

The home was nicer than any of us expected. It was a rainy weekend but we still enjoyed our time spending evenings and nights in as the home had basically everything we needed.

Good time at Birchwood Lodge

Hi Patrick and Lauren, Our family had a wonderful time at Birchwood Lodge last weekend for our son's graduation from Plymouth Sate University. Your home was very comfortable for 5 adults., space for everyone. I enjoyed reading in the morning with the sun coming through the skylight upstairs on the catwalk. The beds were comfortable, but would recommend tightening the master bedroom bed frame because it did rattle when someone turned in bed. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs and the outside firepit was enjoyed by all. We cooked 2 dinners outside and enjoyed stuffed marshmallows with chocolate. We hope to visit your Lodge in the future and wish you success with your rental. We are happy to give you a 5 star rating. Carolyn and Bill Whalen

Amazing stay, exceeded all expectations!

We had an amazing time staying in Thornton! The cabin was clean and the location was quiet and pristine. The firm mattresses were perfect for soreness after fully packed ski days and the check in/out process was seamless. Thank you!

Why they chose this property

During the height of the pandemic we committed to a gut renovation of the lodge. Along with the help of our families and some local contractors we were able to completely transform the space into a cozy mountain retreat. Already our family has fallen in love with the home and the location, and we are excited to share it with you, too!
