Beautiful area! Wonderful stay at this home. Everything was clean. Such a unique place with beautiful accents. Jack the cat was the sweetest as a porch companion. We would definitely stay here again.
My friend and I really enjoyed our stay on this property. The proprietors had a lovely organic garden and were happy to share their produce with us! The interior space was very clean and well appointed, including a lot of color from the Stainglass window and the interesting art. highly recommended
Can’t say enough great things about our stay! Loved the house and the glass bottle window and especially Jack! We will definitely be back to enjoy a longer stay
I felt like I was friend that was staying the night. We pulled up and the family was outside and they waved. The place is old but very comfortable. Will recommend to people
Lovely place to stay right in Crestone. Ryan and his family are awesome. Jack the cat + kitten (outdoor) make it feel like home away from home. Very warm, welcoming, comfortable with all you need to have a great experience in Crestone!
This property was well maintained and had a quirky, homey vibe. We LOVED the cozy living room and the mountain views from the kitchen window. I absolutely would stay here again.
While we weren’t at the hike for very long, we had a great stay. Very clean. The host was very helpful when we had a question.
A great place to stay in Crestone!
We absolutely LOVED this property! It is exactly as described and the vibe cannot be matched! So colorful, clean and all of the plants added a special touch to the ambiance. Jack the Cat was a sweet bonus! Perfect spot to stay when visiting Great Sand Dunes NP and Zapata Falls. Thank you for an amazing stay!
It was a pleasant little cozy place. Peaceful and quiet. Host was available if needed. There is plenty to do fairly near by if are looking for some unique experiences.
One thing, kitchen sink stopper needs replaced. But found another way to do the small amount of dishes that we dirtied.
Overall was very pleased with the experience. Would recommend the place to my family and friends.

Not enough time here. Need to come back for longer. Main thing was the cleanliness and quiet and coziness of property. Will be back as I forgot my container in the fridge!
The listing for Travelers Rest doesn't do it justice. This is the best stocked kitchen in a rental I ever saw. Everything we needed was there. It is such a comfortable home and even comes with an outdoor cat or two who are very friendly and also willing to back off if you are not a cat lover, or allergic. Lots of hummingbirds and two feeders on the porch so you can watch them fight over the feeders. It was hot during the day but still cooled down at night and was good sleeping weather. I recommend Travelers Rest.
We loved the place. Great amenities. We had only a couple issues that were taken care of immediately. Very attentive host. The night sky was amazing. Jack the Cat was a love. He purred sweet nothings all the time. Willow was all about being a kitten. It was great having vacation cats. The mosquitos were not amazing. The extra rain had intensified them so bring bug repellent to spend time outside.
Overall a wonderful stay at a charming place. The house was clean, comfortable and cozy. Perfect place to relax, enjoy some quiet and gorgeous stars at night. For future travelers, there isn't a microwave or television which we didn't catch on the listing. It's not a complaint, more informational because for us it was unexpected. There are a few puzzles and games with a great large table to play on. We left a cool Poirot puzzle. Excellent wi-fi. We adored the house cats Jack and Willow. Super friendly and sweet kitties. The town is quaint. Elephant Cloud market is fantastic and well stocked. Definitely head to the cafe for be breakfast and the yak burgers at the brew pub are delicious. The two thrift stores have great finds, especially Ravens. Danielle at Sacred Spirit offers wonderful energy work. It was a great trip to a cool community. We'll be back!
We booked this kind of last minute and we were not disappointed. It was all that we needed for an overnight stay in their cute little town. Wish we would have had more time to explore. The best feature was the house cat with the big purr!
