Spring break

Very clean, excellent for 3 bedrooms (beds uncomfortable), extremely steep driveway, clean and adequately hot temp for hot tub.

best cabin!

this was such a cute and amazing cabin! it was perfect, a lot of privacy, and it was close to gatlinburg and the ober ski resort! only problem is there wasn’t a dryer or washing machine but other wise it was incredible! the hot tub and view was amazing, and i loved all the games we could play inside.one thing i loved the most was the easy check in process, i love that. will be coming again!

The property was clean and a cute vrbo the lighting was not the best and the living room furnishings felt very cheap and small there was no way you could get comfortable on them. Over all it was an ok stay but not something i would rebook. something i would re book

Family weekend getaway

The property was very nice-clean and well organized. Location was perfect for the activities we planned. We all enjoyed the hot tub, fooseball table and amenities the cabin offered. I would recommend bringing your own towels and an extra blanket to use on the couch (fabric is leather and cold in the winter). Overall a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend.

Good but could be better

Overall a 4 out of 5. It was a cute chalet but there were a couple things that just were a but disappointing. First there was very little hot water..... so no hot showers. The hot tub was set to 55 degrees when we arrived so we couldn't use it for about 3 hours as it took while to warm up. The drive way is STEEP.... we were skidding out at the very bottom trying to go up in our car as some of the gravel from the road was on the driveway. Lastly the little signs everywhere about what not to do were a bit much. Positives were that it was secluded and tranquil, away from the craziness of downtown gaitlinburg.

Overall good but a few things could be worked on

Overall we had a good time….. Here are my pros and cons Pros- great location Very private Hot tub was clean Easy check in and out process Cons- Shower doesn’t get hot at all Place could be cleaner ( there was hair in beds when we got there and boogers on the wall) Driveway is VERY steep With that said overall it was a good stay and would stay again….just a few things need to be fixed

Mostly Positive!

Positives: Easy check-in process, quick response from owner when we had issues with the wifi, foosball table was awesome, beautiful view of the mountains, hot tub was great, everything was clean, kitchen was well equipped, kids loved the foosball table, Christmas decor was beautiful and cozy, plenty of blankets, Ski Mountain Pizza very yummy! Negatives: Hold the dishwasher handle as you open it, otherwise it will fall and land on your foot (ouch!), don't hit the Netflix button on the remote for the living room- it will freeze the tv, the fan in the upstairs bedroom was not working, hot water not super hot in the showers, wifi a bit spotty, driveway is very very steep- need 4 wheel drive or you won't be getting up there! The little signs all over the inside and outside of the cabin are a little overwhelming, though I do understand the purpose of them. Most of the signs are helpful, but some are a little overkill. Overall, we had a great trip! We enjoyed our stay at the Raven's Nest. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!

Enjoyable

The cabin did look a little smaller in person than it was pictured, but that is to be expected. It would’ve been nice to know that the driveway was very very steep and had a tight 90 hairpin turn in it due to me having a pick up truck I was able to make the turn, but it was very rough. Other than that had no complaints. We all enjoyed it very much.

Great location and great place.

Overall the place was great. Beds were comfortable. Nice hot tub for relaxing and a grille for cooking. Only 2 things stop this place from being excellent. First, there is no washer and dryer. So staying 10 nights with 5 people had us a few trips to the laundromat. Second the living room furniture is not that comfortable for a day of lounging around the house. Other than those two items the place was perfect. Great location and close to everything. Three different community pools that could be used and the nicest pool and rec room were very close to the cabin. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect getaway

Well this place was fantastic zero complaints we loved being at the top of the mountain don’t let the reviews scare you I enjoyed the drive way lol we saw 6 bears had one walk right up to the hot tub and he just walked on by we had a blast would definitely stay here again

Great Trip

This property gave us the relaxation we needed. Enjoyed the location. Close enough to town to enjoy being a tourist and far enough to really enjoy nature. The house was nice and cozy. The kitchen was small and it was hard to do the dishes, but besides that, we highly recommend it.

It was very clean and the beds were really comfortable!! We seen five bears near the cabin and two big ones actually came up on porch one tried getting in my car and tore up the side of my car!! That was scary but overall it was good the driveway was the thing I didn’t like the most!! Thanks for letting us stay

Getting there is not for the faint of heart! Cabin was great!!

My sister and I with our 12th, 10th and 8th graders had a great time. The cabin was great! Loved the space. It was clean. Being from Florida, we have no hills let alone mountains. The drive to get there up mountains with limited shoulder and steep turns, my sister didn’t try the driveway. But we had a blast!

This was a nice little property, with emphasis on little. The lighting over the foosball and kitchen table has been swapped out to these obnoxious, bright overhead lights with no dim. The dishwasher door will fall on your foot, so be cautious there - that's if you're even able to reach the sink to put the dirty dishes in. There is one fan on the property, and the main level bedroom windows are taped to prevent you from opening them, so if you get hot at night or need a fan, it might be a good idea to bring your own. There are no chairs on the upper deck, only a table. The driveway is brutally curvy and steep. They only left 6 towels, one for each person, which became an issue because there isn't a washer or drying machine, so the same wet towel you used getting out of the hot tub, you have to use if you decide to take a shower after, and vice versa if you showered prior to entering the hot tub. We were told by management to call on Sunday to request a later check-out. Come to find out, they're closed on Sundays, so not sure why I was told to call back on a day they know they're closed. I will say, it was really cool to watch the Ober tram come over the property.

Family of 4

The cabin was nice but in the pictures it shows a pool that is no where near the cabin. I was hoping it would be close enough for the kids to walk to or even drive them to but we honestly never knew where the pool was, and the roads were to narrow to walk from the cabin to the pool, so that was disappointing. The cabin was nice, but I didn’t like the temperature regulation. You couldn’t change it from 70 at all. It was frustrating because there are no ceiling fans in the rooms and they could get warm at night. Also my daughter kept getting bug bites and we finally figured out our last day there that she had ants in her room that would bite her and leave a huge welt on her arm at night while she was asleep. She had 7 or 8 bites by the end of it. We also had to go and get dishwashing tabs because we were only given one package and we did at least 2/3 loads of dishes. The Jacuzzi was really nice and the atmosphere of the cabin was nice.

Lock your doors

My car was ransacked the ONE time I accidentally left my doors unlocked, while we were eating dinner, so be sure to lock up. This was my first time staying in a cabin and didn’t know cabin beds are rock hard. Otherwise, a very pleasant weekend.
