Great place

What a fun bachelorette party location. Place was clean with a few minor pieces of trash found. Driveway didn’t look that bad on the pictures but it wasnt that bad. Wish the fireplace came with wood or I would have brought some with me

Cozy cabin for a great price!

We had a great stay! There was plenty of room for all 14 of us. We had adults, teens, children, and toddlers. Every one of us had a place to sleep. The kitchen was well stocked. The bunk bed in the picture was gone so be prepared not to have that bed, but the couch in the living room folds out into a bed as well as the futon upstairs in the loft and even the chair in the upstairs bedroom is a hide a bed. In total there are five queen or full beds (including the sofa and futon) and one twin. That was not in the listing, so it was a nice surprise. The hot tub was great. The showers could be a little cleaner, but they weren’t nasty. The driveway is steep. The paved area at the top helps tremendously compared to the past listings, but we all had four wheel drive vehicles. I’m not sure a small car would have made it to the top. The outdoor area is so fun. Cornhole, a fire pit, and a swing. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

Cozy Cabin- you need 4x4!!

Little Bear Cabin was a great. It was very clean and spacious. The cabin itself felt sturdy, well made and newly constructed. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck and the cornhole on the front porch. It had a few negatives. The driveway is extremely steep and dangerous. This should be noted in the description that you need an all wheel drive to park in the driveway. We were not aware of this so we had to park it down the road and away from the cabin then has to carry all of our bags and children up the roadway. Our van would not make that steep gravely incline. You need a 4x4 to park here. Its not even really safe to walk on because its so steep and covered in loose gravel. This is definitely a big safety concern. Also the description shows a big fire pit in the front yard near the porch swing. There is no fire pit. Its simply not there. We did walk around back and see some construction material under the deck that may have been a pit at one point. But it was not set up and tossed in a pile of rubble. The toilet seat in the downstairs bathroom was busted when we got there as well as the toilet paper holder and TV in the downstairs bedroom was not working. I asked if the cabin was available for an extra night- no one got back to me. Otherwise- nice place- 4X4 is a must! Watch yourself on that driveway!

Description is not accurate. Bug bites galore.

The inside of the house is nicely done. However the driveway “flattening” that they did was only at the top of the drive and taking my brand new minivan up the hill was traumatizing. They did not warn me to bring a 4wd/AWD vehicle until it was a week before check in and I had already paid in full. And the drive way is covered in loose bedrock which makes it even more difficult to gain traction on. The new addition to the porch is cute and the swing and fire pit got plenty of use. However, the grill grates were covered in rust and we had to use a pan across them to cook our food. The beds in the bedrooms were the older spring mattresses that I could venture to call “less than comfortable” definitely not any resort level comfort in that area. Also, most of the lights/plug ins did not work in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The tv, while smart, did not allow you to download useful apps like YouTube, or netflix, without a PIN number which we were not provided, so I could not use the Roku portion of the tv at all, not to mention there was no remote for the upstairs Roku so I had to download the application on my phone to operate the tv. All of these things could probably have been overlooked if it were not for the fact that my entire family including my 2 year old, were ravaged by an infestation of this enormous black ants and bitten all over our bodies while we slept. Found them crawling all over me when I sat down on the large couch downstairs and when I pulled of the cushions there were tons running around under the cushions. I messaged the owners with pictures of the bites covering all my families sides, back and necks, and they still have yet to respond. My husband is allergic to ants and he ended up with 7 or 8 large welts across his back before the end of the stay. Very disappointed with the quality of the stay for the cost that we paid. Hoping we may get better luck next year somewhere else.

Little bear cabin

We loved the aspect and overall is a great place except for they fail to mention or show that the driveway is practically straight up hill and is only paved or concreted about 10-15feet up the hill and had pea gravel at the top that has been washed down from the parking area and causes you to lose traction and is impossible to reach the top if it has rained and will have to park at the bottom and walk up the hill.

Mostly pleased

The cabin was clean and very relaxing. The only downside was the whirlpool and the driveway. The whirlpool when turning on the jets put blackish brown sediment in the water. I assume it was from not being used and having build up but it was kind of a shock and gross. The driveway is not something that can be fixed, I assume, but it is terrifying to park in at least in a minivan. If feel though if we had a truck or Jeep it wouldn’t be a problem. But yes not recommended for non 4 wheel drive vehicles.
