Chris does an amazing job with this classic cottage. Still has all of its charm, but updated and modern, a great property. Have stayed here 3x now. Each time has been excellent. Would recommend.
Only issue we had was the air conditioning did not work.
Might eliminate the 3rd bathroom, awfully small but we made it work.
Great house, great location, everything we could have asked for!!
We celebrated my daughter’s graduation with family from all over. This house is beautiful! It is a lovely home with a great location. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would unabashedly recommend this property to anyone! It could not have been more perfect. We are so happy and grateful.
This was a beautiful old home that was exactly what our family get together needed. It was in a charming area near downtown East Aurora. The kitchen was amazing, large , newly renovated and so well-equipped. The rest of the house was decorated beautifully with lots of golf memorabilia.
The place was definitely as advertised. Large traditional home fit in perfectly with holiday. Host was very prompt in getting back with any questions. Weather also cooperated on Christmas Day! Areas of improvement are minor but since you asked, the TV remotes are not all in sinc with the TVs. May want to recalibrate. Ice Machine at bar is very noisy. Grill doesn’t work but that was already addressed. Like I said, nothing major but you asked. Would definitely come back again!
We were hosting our daughter's wedding and found the Cottage a perfect home to meet our needs. The Cottage was well appointed, had enough public spaces for our bridal party to get ready and was beautifully lit by natural sunlight. The kitchen is a dream with a very large island which accommodated our brunch. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and will definitely recommend the home for anyone who wishes to have a wonderful experience.
My bridesmaids and I stayed here for two nights leading up to my wedding. Chris was extremely welcoming and easy to communicate with. He was very generous and let us have a late check out as well.
The house was stunning, I didn't want to leave. The beds were beyond comfortable. The kitchen and living room were big and allowed for my bridesmaids and I a lot of space to hang out and get ready.
So thankful to our hosts and if we are definitely in the area again, I will not hesitate to rebook.
Had a lovely time staying at this property for a family wedding in East Aurora. Tia home was ideal for our stay. Lots of room, great layout and rooms and beds were so comfortable and quite Would love to stay agian for for another family wedding. Chris was a wondefully responsive and generous - thank you so much!
This property is amazing. We came into town for a Buffalo Bills game. The distance to the stadium was definitely perfect, far enough away, but close enough to make the trip there easy!
We had plenty of room for everyone.
The only downside was that there weren’t really any instructions on how to use the house’s accommodations like the split systems, or what light switches turned what on etc. we figured it all out eventually and had a wonderful time!
Will definitely go back!
Ample bedrooms, two living rooms, screened porch, bar room with ice maker, gorgeous bathrooms, amazing kitchen, two fire pits, tvs in every room, temp controls in every room. I would stay forever if I could. Don’t hesitate to stay at this perfect house.
Beautifully refreshed older home, amazing grounds, very quiet. Communication with the host was great. Chris was very accommodating and responsive, before AND during the stay. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was huge and well-appointed, so foodies will be in heaven.
All in all, a remarkable stay. You won't be disappointed!
The property was absolutely beautiful, loved all the golf decor. Spent the entire day outside in the side yard playing games and grilling then got to watch sports on awesome flat screen tvs in just about every room! Would book again in a heartbeat! Thank you!
The whole family, grandparents, parents and children stayed 3 nights in order to attend a wedding in East Aurora. The house met our needs perfectly! It was clean and well-equipped. Two small bedrooms are on the first floor and 3 large bedrooms are on the second floor. The only surprise was you had to walk through one 2-queen bedroom to get to the other 2-queen bedroom. Otherwise, the property was perfect. The owner was very accommodating.
This is a grand old home, but very comfortable. Like many older homes, it consists of multiple rooms. That can be a challenge with a group, but the living room was large enough to accommodate us all (8-10 people) to watch the football game or play games together. It also left plenty of quiet spaces for other activities and conversations. The kitchen was a great place to hang out and cook, and the outdoor fire pits (with plenty of stocked wood and starter material) were a wonderful amenity on a cold October evening.
Finally, the owner/manager, Chris, was welcoming, helpful and always available if needed- fortunately nothing was needed.

We had a great weekend at this fantastic property while in town for a family wedding. Nice and spacious house with a gorgeous kitchen! Highly recommended.
This is really an interesting and comfortable house, a blend of old-house charm and new amenities, like air conditioning in every room and a huge modern kitchen. It has a lot of rooms and sitting areas for groups to hang. The yard is large (about an acre), with fire pits on both sides of the house and walnut and beechnut trees. Deer wandered through regularly.
The house is next to Crag Burn Golf Course, and the parking lot is visible, but that should only bother someone who does not like to see a couple dozen expensive cars (it's an exclusive private club). By nightfall the lot was almost empty and we never heard a sound from the club.
For our three families, the house was a great bargain. We hope to return.
