Blue haven villas - highly recommend

Loved everything about the villas- easy check in, informative and helpful hosts, beautiful scenery with the ocean steps away and our very own salt water plunge pool. Only other thing I’d say is that it would be great if they had recycling as everything had to go in the garbage.

Loved it!

The house is well situated offering privacy with close proximity to services. Although the villa is small it’s well organized, makes excellent use of space and is well equipped. The kitchen is pleasant to work in. Kitchen, outdoor living area and patio offer amazing views including sunsetThe pool is more for soaking than swimming but again offer a great view and is well maintained The front of the property allows you to get right down to the water and the are lounging chairs there as well. Hope to return some day. Hosts are friendly and responsive

Piece of paradise!

We have stayed in many VRBO properties, but this is our favorite. With the private ocean seating, snorkeling with coral, cabana with hammocks, and a patio with our own small pool, it was tempting to never leave. But we found Bouillante a convenient base for day trips, about an hour from Deshaies and less than that to hikes in the national park. Jo was very helpful and responsive, and she clearly cares about creating a wonderful experience for guests. It is as beautiful as pictures suggest. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the shower hot. We highly recommend!

Un superbe lieu pour passer des vacances. Je craignais la promiscuité avec les autres logements mais finalement ce n'est pas trop gênant. La maison n'est pas très grande mais amplement suffisante à 2. A plus je suis un peu plus réservé, à mon avis on se marche rapidement dessus. Le logement est sur-équipé au niveau électroménager (on apprécie le lave vaisselle et lave linge !). Il y a même un grand four. Par contre au niveau ustensiles c'est un peu léger pour qui aime cuisiner sérieusement (Mais on s'en sort quand même). Pour finir ce qui est vraiment exceptionnel c'est l'accès privatif à la mer sur un spot de snorkelling super (dans les rochers) ainsi que la vue imprenable sur la mer des caraibes qui vous réservera des couchers de soleil à couper le souffle.

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans la villa de Jo après avoir passé une première semaine sur Saint-François. Tout est vraiment conforme à ce qui est décrit et cela se traduit sur place par un endroit idyllique. La villa possède une vue magnifique et tout est prévu pour que les vacanciers se sentent vraiment bien. Bravo à notre hôte pour l'entretien des lieux, tout y est impeccable (d'où la certaine rigueur concernant les crèmes solaires dans les fauteuils, la piscine, ...) A recommander TRES vivement. Merci à notre hôte pour cet excellent séjour

Superbe location avec tout le confort . Au calme sans vis à vis. Jardin , un régal pour les yeux. Piscine au top face à la mer et au couché de soleil. Baignade directement dans la mer en bas de la location, avec plein de poissons Bien situé pour visiter Basse terre. Accueil très sympathique et le punch de bienvenu était très apprécié. Nous y retournerons les yeux fermés

Traumhafter Aufenthalt direkt an Meer

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Blick auf das Meer und die täglichen Sonnenuntergänge sind einfach unbezahlbar. Das Haus für 2-3 Personen ideal und es fehlt an gar nichts. Alles ist wunderbar in Form und Farbe aufeinander abgestimmt. Der Zugang ins Meer ist über die größeren Steine ohne Probleme möglich. Nur bei stärkerem Seegang sollte man vielleicht doch besser im Pool abkühlen. Jo war eine wunderbare Gastgeberin die jederzeit erreichbar war und uns so manchen guten Tipp zum Aufenthalt in Basse Terre gegeben hat. Besser kann man es nicht machen. Das Gelände besteht aktuell aus zwei Baugleichen Häusern, ein drittes ist im Bau. Von den Bauarbeiten im dritten Haus hat man aber nichts mitgekommen. Trotz der drei Häuser ist man in seinem eigenen Haus immer ungestört.

C’est magnifique!

Blue Haven villas is beautiful and Jo/Patrick are great hosts. Although we could have had better weather, we found Guadeloupe to be a beautiful island of friendly people and tons of things to do. Brushing up on your French is a must! Thanks for the memories...hope to be back soon!

Villa de rêve avec une vue à couper le souffle !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa, où tout est conçu pour le plaisir et le confort des invités. Quel bonheur de profiter de la terrasse et de la piscine avec cette vue incroyable : le vert du jardin, le bleu de la mer et le blanc des voiles des bateaux... Nous recommandons sans la moindre hésitation cette villa et espérons revenir un jour dans ce petit paradis en Basse-Terre ! la famille L.

Every bit as beautiful as the pictures!

I have stayed at many vacation rentals all over the world and this is by far one of the best. The pictures do not do justice to the cleanliness, convenience and care that is a tribute to the owner, Jo Bennett. She has thought of everything. In addition, she will take a lot of time to give you suggestions on where to eat and what to do on the island and responds quickly to any needs. We had a wonderful, memorable time on Guadaloupe, thanks in part to Blue Haven Villas.

Just Amazing!

Words will not do Blue Haven any justice whatsoever. We wanted somewhere special and unique for a special occasion and we certainly found it. Particularly private, quiet and utterly relaxing with it's own pool, grounds and bluff. Astonishing views of the Ocean 24/7. It is immaculately clean and well equipped and was a real home from home. Jo and Patrick were the perfect hosts. Un-intrusive but always on hand for any help or advice. The Villa was well placed near to local amenities and wonderful beaches but nicely out of the tourist area which in itself wasn't overly busy. We really can't recommend Blue Haven enough.

Un séjour délicieux !

Quel endroit merveilleux ... Une vue mer incroyable, des couchers de soleil à couper le souffle, des fonds marins colorés au bout d'un jardin paisible ! Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse à Blue Haven Villa ! Un grand merci à Jo pour son accueil et pour les petites intentions portées à ses locataires. Séjour parfait en basse terre !

Besser geht es nicht

Wir haben zweieinhalb wundervolle Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Wir haben jeden Tag in vollen Zügen genossen. Dank der ausgezeichtneten Empfehlungen von Jo findet man sich auch sehr schnell zurecht. Wir haben schon viele Ferienhäuser gebucht, aber dieses war bisher das Beste. Der Ausblick ist grandios und mit etwas Glück sieht man direkt von der Terasse aus Wale. Wir haben an drei Tagen welche gesehen. Zudem ist gleich in der Nähe eine sehr gute Tauchbasis. Wir kommen sicher wieder! Thank you Jo Ramona und Peter

Une valeur sûre !

Que du Bonheur!

Un séjour de deux semaines qui s'est bien passé dans un cadre idyllique face à la mer des Caraïbes .La villa est parfaite ou la propreté y est irréprochable et conforme aux photos sur le site . Le passage des voiliers au large agrémente votre quotidien de curiosités devant cette belle mer qui change de couleur au fil des heures .La piscine très largement ensoleillée est un plus pour se détendre et permet d'admirer tous les soirs de fabuleux coucher de soleil . Merci à Jo et Patrick pour leurs conseils avisés avec toutes les bonnes adresses de restaurants et de produits locaux pour déguster de très bonnes spécialités créoles . Mention spéciale à Cap Créole pour la qualité de leurs produits et surtout la langouste fraîche 🔆 Nous reviendrons un jour prochain à Bluen Haven Villas avec comme objectif de passer un séjour plus long . Une excellente adresse ou le calme règne au quotidien dans un environnement arboré avec goût . Karine et Jean-Claude
