The remodeled garage -1BR was exactly what we wanted. Close to Vinoy Park and the beach. It brought back good memories of our first apartment, cozy!! The walls were a little too thin so we heard the noise from above and outside. Neighborhood was okay.
Stayed with my mom and my two toddlers ( 4 and 5) Great location, super cute little place ! We loved it, the only thing I’d change is that the couch was a pull out so we had a tiny bit more sleeping space. But overall we very much enjoyed it ! Communication was very timely between owners with anything I needed. Will def be staying again in the future!

Nightmare
After I made the reservation they said I would have to pay an extra $300 for having my service dog there which is illegal. They said a service dog is the same as an ESA dog. They finally approved for me not to have to pay after telling them to google that a service dog is not and ESA pet. The day of our reservation, we get there, and after we get all our stuff in, they said we had to leave immediately because the toilet is broke. We had no place to go and had to wait for a refund and didn’t have enough money for another reservation. Overall at a quick glance the place was ok. The yard is a mess. The grass was at least a foot tall and there was a rusty old bucket in the yard. Thankfully Vrbo is awesome and saved the day for us. I do not recommend this place.
You don’t even get what you pay for, I’m not sure why they charge a cleaning fee… the bathroom was DISGUSTING! We wanted to just leave and book another place but couldn’t get anything last minute. I NEVER leave reviews I usually am very understanding. I had to clean the toilet and sink myself. Like I had to go out and buy cleaning supplies. I was so upset that I didn’t think about snapping pictures. I just cleaned. The toilet was full of pee, I took the chair cover off and cleaned it good. I didn’t bother with the shower that much, because we just put a towel down but I did put some bleach on it and the gunk kinda came off. Which made me realize whoever cleans only rinses it or something. Y’all when I tell you it was gross… it was so bad. Not to mention, there was ONE USED toilet paper roll, so we had to buy more. There was no paper towels and there was a USED SPONGE on the sink.. unacceptable if you ask me. I was so glad We only slept there bc we were out all day. Per usual I bring my own sheets and covers… I bet you they saw we didn’t use the bedding and probably didn’t wash it. Please do not book here unless they actually clean it and check after their housekeeping personnel. I messaged the property manager and after 2 days they said sorry about the inconvenience and if I took pictures? I responded and I have yet to hear back from Bella.
If you stay here bring your own essentials like TP, PT.
There was used condiments in the fridge, I guess that’s a plus?
The building was in a shady neighborhood, the parking isn’t even big enough for a truck and another car. I know I’m all over the place but there is just so many bad things about this place. It was some what presentable in the living room and room but it was not clean!
If I could rate it 0 stars I would.

Lots of bugs
There were lots of little flies in bathroom. Little lizards came in to help so that was good. Not a actual condo. It's a converted garage
The place is very cute 1 bedroom, If you are looking for place to sleep only.
We spend our days at the beach. Cute garage converted in a one bedroom apartment. Will be nice to have a washer and dryer. I will recommended it. We had no problems.
This is a bargain priced property so no luxuries. Works fine for anyone that would like a lower price stay. There is considerable noise if someone moves around upstairs. It does need a microwave
In bad area, converted garage not even a house/apartment. Backyard that you have to access unit was unkept, stuff all over the place. Sink, refrigerator (outside of it) and shower was dirty. No microwave, pot holders, paper towels. You had one towel and wash cloth only! People above us both nights we stomping feet and sliding furniture til 1am Fri and 3am sat. Contacted mgmt starting at 10pm and the "final response at 3am" was they were killing roaches! Highly recommend going somewhere else. Contacted VRBO this place needs to be pulled.

Beware of upstairs neighbors
Please be advised before you stay here! The description of the apartment states that this place is a first floor apartment but does not state that there is a second unit right above it. The ceiling is paper thin and you can clearly hear every word and footstep from anyone upstairs. The people that live upstairs have no consideration for people down stairs. On our first night at the apartment they started partying at 8pm and continued until 4 am playing loud music and yelling. They knew we were staying there as we heard one of the girls say “sorry people down there” after dropping something heavy. My family (husband and 8 year-old daughter) booked the place for two nights, however, after our experience the first night we chose to leave a day early. If you plan to get some sleep during the night I do not recommend staying here.

About the host
Hosted by Property Manager/Owner
Several years back, I started renting out my place when I traveled. I quickly realized that I loved hosting guests and wanted to help them experience the city like a local. It was important to make sure that they had a warm and enjoyable stay, so much so that I founded the company Staybetter, LLC. We have now grown to a team of over 10 and have properties in multiple cities across the US. Despite having grown, we still aim to bring the same initial passion that I had to ensure our guests receive the warm experience of the city like a local should.
