This is our second stay in this home, and we enjoyed ourselves both times. This home is truly worth the money. The manager Mac responses quickly to any needs you may have. Thanks for being a great host.

Had possiblities
I didn't read the reviews on this property before I visited. A number of the complaints still applied during my stay. The front door deadbolt broke the last night we stayed. Mac came and had to break in through a window. Neither my friend had a good night's rest with an unlocked window. As a result of the lock problem, I had the opportunity to discuss the issues we had with the property. I didn't intend to post my concerns but these issues were raised by previous renters. The coded locked on the bedrooms can be problematic. Who expects to have to punch in a code for your bedroom if you're renting the whole house. What happens if you forget the code and it's locked in the room. One expects to see basic cooking utensils if they are showing pots and pans. There were none. The picture of the cabinet showed more than what was there during my stay. To my surprise there were 6 cups and no glasses. The plates were a bunch of mismatched china and one or two stoneware plates. One of the burners, (front left) didn't work. The pictures also don't show the condition of the property. No grass in the front and six inch weeded backyard. My last notably issue were the bed pillows. They have been well used for a year or more. If you decide to stay, bring your own unless he's replaced them. Sanitizing isn't sufficient. They should have been replaced long before my visit. I share this because a number of the complaints were from over a year ago and have not been addressed. That being said, the bedrooms were nice size and comfortable.
The property was in a good location for us. The beds were very comfortable. The was a lack of cooking utensils but we made it work. All in all, we were very happy.
We needed a resting spot after driving down from Indiana to move our son. Small glitch with getting check in code but owner responded within seconds to get us taken care of. Home is older but very clean. Served it’s purpose for our needs.
The inside of the house looks like it has a professional interior designer's touches. The shaded front porch is a fabulous place to relax and read a good book. Also, it's conveniently located only a few miles from Downtown Winston Salem.
This house is not in good part of town. Needless to say my finance said we would not be staying in this house. Each bedroom has locked passcode enabled doors. Each bedroom also had doorbells. I have never seen anything like it. The main hallway did not have working lights, I had to utilize my cellphone flashlight to see down the hall. I contacted the owner and told him we would not be staying at the property. He states that he has used the property for two years on Airbnb without incident. Well I have higher standards and abandoned vehicles and an open overflowing storage unit does not meet my standards. Strange people walking around the area does not meet my standards either. My fiancé said our vehicle probably would not be there in the morning if we stayed!!
Back to the owner his second response was he could understand why I said I would not feel safe in that area.
We stayed at a local hotel downtown for that weekend!
This was my first-time using Vrbo and my family enjoyed the property, especially the fact that TV's is in every room. The host has everything you will need and the area has easy access to shopping!
