Welcome to The Sea Turtle in Port Aransas, Texas. We are fully open for vacation guests! The Port Aransas beach is fully open for all activities and vehicles! Our home is located in Port Aransas's La Playa neighborhood, one of the closest neighborhoods to the beach, with a private boardwalk to the water. Restaurants in town are open for dine-in & takeout. Our housekeepers are on top of a comprehensive disinfecting routine, so all remotes, light switches, doorknobs and faucet handles, etc., have been freshly sanitized before your arrival.
This large, unique three-bedroom, two-bath beach home has an open floor plan with coastal chic decor inside and Gulf views from the living room and two side decks. Our beach house has everything you need for a vacation here! Let us do the work for you. Unload, sit back, and relax

Wonderful house!!!

I stayed here with my family recently and this house was perfect! Very clean and had everything we needed! Short walk to beach or a min drive to beach if you want to take car instead. The golf cart was an amazing perk and made everything so convenient! Definitely recommend this place and will be coming back.

Great getaway

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely, great location beach home! Having access to the golf cart provided was a HUGE bonus! Modern, everything we needed was included in the house. Our family loved this beach getaway. Great hosts as well, fast response and very helpful!

17 Laplaya was as advertised. Clean space, plenty of amenities and very close to the beach. The golf cart was very useful.

Port A Beach House

Property was close to the beach and golf cart was a huge bonus. Owner was very accommodating for allowing us an extra night and was quick to respond.

Perfect Property

This property was perfect in every way. Location was awesome and the house is settled in a really small private neighborhood. The house is beautifully equipped with everything anyone could need. There was even beach toys and chairs etc. The golf cart was in very good condition and our whole trip cost us just $5 in gas. We toured everywhere in the golf cart so this was a really big asset to the property and kept our vehicle safe and clean at the house. The host was awesome and answered all questions with speed. The house was also decorated very tastefully with a cute seaside theme. Thoroughly recommend this property for everyone.

Enjoyed the stay!

We enjoyed our stay in Port A! After looking at the last review, I was a bit concerned. I reached out to the property manager and they quickly responded to my concern, sharing that they had spent time making improvements. Overall, things were great! There's a bit of a fishy smell in the fridge/freezer, but it's not bad and the manager has been informed. A bit irritated that a previous tenant was careless and perhaps a bit self absorbed. Bring a cooler and keep your bait there chucklehead. The property is a short walk to the beach. The golf cart was a huge benefit! Loved it!

There were several major problems with this rental property.Upon entering we noticed a foul smell. When we opened the fridge and freezer to store food we were hit with the revolting smell of fish. This property has obviously allowed fishermen to store dead fish in freezer/fridge. We could not use the ice and had to throw away anything like grapes, blueberries, lettuce as the stench stuck to everything. I had to bleach out my icechest and containers we brought home. Worse is the bottom step was broken in half. I sprained my ankle and will see a doctor as it is not better after 10 days. My son-in-law went face first in the dirt carrying items to the car. I am 67 and have had 4 spine surgeries. If it had been me I would be suing. One of my sons also twisted his ankle coming down the steps. The third bedroom is virtually unuseable. There is a window which has no curtain or cover that beams in the neighbor's lights all night. There is also no door for this "bedroom". There was disgusting mold in the coffee maker as it had not been cleaned out and dishes that were so greasy that it was gross. Avoid this rental at all costs unless you love the odor of dead fish.

Awesome Place

House was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was awesome, we enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the ocean! Unfortunately the cart was being worked on, but Kenny was gracious and got us a cart to use during our time there. I would for sure recommend this place.

Perfect end of summer getaway!

Great vacay in Port A

We traveled to Port A for a family wedding and beach vacation. Kenny's place was conveniently located just off a beach access road and had all that we needed. Having the golf cart was a major plus as that appears to be the main mode of transport.

Great time on the beach!

The house was clean upon arrival. There was plenty of room for the 4 adults on our trip. The kitchen had plenty of room for cooking meals and had plenty of pots, pans and utensils.

Surpasses Expectations, perfect location

The host was gracious and easy to contact. We have stayed in this area before and love it. This home is one of the best ! It is well stocked, comfortable, GOOD HVAC so sleeping was extremely comfortable. The deck is spacious and accommodating, the grill is propane and fairly new. If you want a great place that is close to the beach, choose this home ! We did not use the golf cart but knowing it was available is definitely a plus. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great location!

We’ve stayed in this neighborhood before and love the location with easy access to the beach. We also loved finding a place that allowed dogs. The golf cart was a great addition too. The only problem we had is the dishwasher door falls open and smashed a few toes. I guess the spring failed or something. Otherwise a great stay in Port Aransas!
