The house was everything we wanted. It was well stocked with, kitchen ware, spices, sugar, flour etc. the beds were comfy and the view was outstanding!
Quick couple of days at the Oregon coast. Where better than this pleasant home with 180 degree panoramic view of the ocean ( I counted ten crab trawlers at one time off our shore). Quiet location, warm inviting fireplace, we didn’t leave all day, even for supper. Fresh crab and shrimp from Barnacles Bills crab shack fit the menu nicely

Perfect for our family of 7! The ocean view in the living room is amazing! Very short and easy walk to the beach. Will return for sure!!
This is an outstanding place with tremendous views of Lincoln Beach and the ocean. We were celebrating my wife's 60th birthday. She said I nailed it on this one. We would love to stay here again and I will recommend this to friends, for sure!
We had another amazing stay here, our 6th year and 7th stay. The house is so perfectly situated to view the beach and ocean, but also this time around the Northern Lights! Paul and Gail provide a warm, clean, and incredibly well stocked home for a large clan of people like ours. As always, grateful for the opportunity to stay here. Beautiful beach bonfire the last night of our trip was overcome by a gentle fog. Magical every time.
This was our first time staying at this property and it did not disappoint. The views and the sound of the ocean lulled us into relaxation mode. The home had much more to offer in the kitchen than most homes we’ve stayed at in the past. Our two tiny pups enjoyed the space, the extra dog bed, and the soft carpet (we have hardwood at home). It was truly a wonderful week and we will come back again. Thank you for sharing your home.
We escaped the Las Vegas inferno to this awesome home and are so grateful! Having no real Oregon experience other than Portland, it was a leap of fate knowing we would not be near any real cities for 6 weeks. Location of property is very tranquil on the end of a street with the sounds of waves and chattering of birds. The house is spacious and affords different gathering areas including 2 decks overlooking the ocean. We found many great restaurants nearby and a couple weekend music venues within 1 1/2-3 miles. If you book here be sure to bring binoculars!! Thank you Gail and Paul!
It was a very nice home, well suited for a group of folks, close to stores and restaurants. No beach access, disappointingly, unless you drove for several miles. Dishwasher did not work, nor the fireplace. Evidence of animals using floors/walls to urinate, although no smell. It was a good stay, just needs a bit of TLC/cleaning/repair to be perfect.
Property was fantastic with a nice kitchen, great living area, comfortable beds and convenient location.
Fabulous ocean view and very private. Easy drive to lots of things to do.
The house has amazing views of the ocean. The hosts are very friendly and kind. There were 8 of us and the house did not feel crowded. We loved having the bunk beds in two of the rooms. The only complaint is the mattresses are well used and they have dips in them, having more firm mattresses would be nice.
The house was very roomy and comfortable. It had everything you could need. The views from every front facing room were amazing and it had 2 great decks. It was a fairly short walk to get down to the beach. The house is located conveniently between Lincoln City and Newport. We loved it and would stay there again!
Had the whole family with us it was a great place to be all together. It was a little further from the beach than hoped for but the view was wonderful, both decks were wonderful and enjoyed by all. Bedrooms were comfortable for everyone. Kitchen had everything we needed, even had a crab boil one night😊
This was great, room for all of us. Located between Lincoln City and Newport, we went to both. I was a bit disappointed that the front windows don't open at all to hear the ocean, but the house was good.
Quiet neighborhood, great ocean views and really good coffee shop nearby.

About the host
Hosted by Paul and Gail Teveliet
My husband and I are recently retired and enjoy an active lifesyle that include racing our sailboat, skiing, hiking, traveling, and beach time. We were born and raised in the Portland area. Went to Franklin and Milwaukie High Schools. This home was built by Paul and his brother when he was in his mid twenties to be very strong to stand up to the coastal storms and it has survived many coastal storms with no damage.
Why they chose this property
close to a local airport. Located between Newport and Lincoln City. With a panoramic view up and down the coast for many beautiful sunsets. No traffic going by or noisy people. We are located at the end of a cult de sac overlooking the ocean. We built the home to live full time but plans changed so we decided to let others enjoy it also. We appreciate it being taken care of which makes it possible to keep the cost down.
What makes this property unique
Private gravel path to access road on the north side of property by the garage to get to the beach. There are several choices of trails depending on ability. . Look for white painted cross on the far end of the road. You will have to go for the main access point. You will have to go down a sand dune. Not recommended if you have mobility issues.
