2111 Jenkins Street is a family owned 4 BR, 4BA beach home located on a quiet street just a few hundred feet from beach access. It offers an open floor plan anchored by a spacious kitchen between a large front porch for rocking, and screened porch perfect for relaxing or outside dining.

Three bedrooms offer queen beds, televisions and their own private bathrooms. The 4th bedroom has a pair of comfy twin beds and shares the downstairs guest bathroom. There’s an unexpected bonus area upstairs which boast an additional gathering area with a tv and another pair of twin beds. This is a perfect area for the kids. Those staying in the bonus area share the guest bathroom downstairs.

Plenty of parking available with an abundance of outdoor space underneath to park your boat, rented golf cart, or just for enjoying family gatherings rain or shine!

NO SMOKING . NO PETS . NO House Parties. Linens and towels are NOT provided but can be rented for a nominal fee through EdistoEssentials.com. Saturday to Saturday rental in months June-August.

Great Location

This was our 2nd year at Salty Paws. The house is very spacious. The bonus room upstairs is a favorite of our kids. Having en-suite bathrooms is so nice! Screened porch was lovely! Outdoor shower is so helpful! So many deer in the backyard. It's a fantastic place for families!

Sweet stay at Salty Paws

While Salty Paws features the traditional "bedroom in each corner" layout, there is much more living space than it seems when looking at the online pictures. Immediately upon arrival, we noticed by how open the main floor is and how much kitchen and counter space exists. We were especially surprised by the loft space upstairs. With two beds and a futon, this room was quickly claimed by the children and turned out to be the ideal space for them to hang out when we weren't at the beach. The long table upstairs is perfect for puzzles as well as setting up a workstation should the mainland require you to spend a little bit of time on your laptop. Below the house, there is more wonderful space to relax and spend time together. We appreciated all of the seating, a clean grill and the ring game (which I personally defeated twice on our first day then not again the rest of the week). The significant number of deer that visited the back yard every night were a bonus to our great week in Edisto Beach at Salty Paws. While we had no issues during our stay, the owners were thorough in their communications and always quick to respond. We highly recommend this house for your next stay.

Very Nice and Clean!

From the very moment we arrived we knew this was going to be a great house! Check in was very smooth and the house was very clean! This house was a perfect fit for the nine of us, which consisted of a family of five, grandparents and sister-in-law and brother-in-law. Everyone had their own space to include their own bathroom. My wife and I have been going to Edisto for 30 years and this has been our best house yet! We look forward to next years trip and staying in Salty Paws.

Perfect House

After 9 years we found the perfect house. The bedroom layout is perfect and there are plenty of bathrooms for the entire family. The kitchen is well equipped for all of your cooking needs. The back porch is amazing, we chose to have all our meals out there and in the evenings there were always deer to amaze the family. Under the house is a great evening hang out, plenty of room for corn hole. The location is a short walk to the beach, even though we had golf carts we would sometimes walk down at night. The outside shower is large. The owners are very responsive. The house was very clean and well organized. 10/10.

Wonderful week!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Salty Paws! The house is just beautiful. Well maintained, clean and a very easy walk to the beach. Plenty of room for us to spread out between the front & back porches and the area under the house. We have been going to Edisto for 20 years and this home is by far one of our favorites! The kitchen is very well stocked with all you need for meal prep. Watching all the deer in the backyard was a bonus! John and Lisa are terrific hosts. We had no issues at all.

Perfect large family set-up

The pictures don't do it justice. It's much bigger than it looks! The house has 2 fantastic porches. One large living/dining/kitchen area. Wing bedrooms on either side of the main living space. 2 sets on each side. 3 have en-suite bathrooms! The upstairs loft is huge! Perfect for our kids to have their own sleeping and hangout space. Huge ground level parking space with outdoor shower and swings. The beach is straight down Jenkins. You just take a left out of your driveway and you have a less than 10 minute walk or a less than 2 minute golf cart ride. You can park your golf cart right at the beach! This place is spacious and was perfect for our family!

Great floor plan and very clean

We loved the floor plan. Plenty of room. Large den and kitchen! Very clean. Hard to find 4 full baths, this was an asset! The space under the house is huge and the kids loved playing in the space. My son said its big enough to play pickle ball and still have room for the kids to play. Host very attentive and responsive! Enjoyed watching the deer in the backyard each night. I would highly recommended.

Salty Paws was a perfect fit for our family (5 adults, 3 kids) the 3 queen bedrooms with attached baths and the twins for the kids, (loft was a huge hit-great space with 2 twins). The house is Very Clean, nicely decorated. Saw deer every day! The space under the house is great, open, decent breeze through it. Perfect for corn hole. We rented a golf cart due to young kids, but adults could walk to the beach-good access. Hosts are quick to answer any questions. We definitely would rent again

Family beach trip

The pictures for this house don’t do it justice! It’s so spacious and clean! We had plenty of room to spread out. Just a short walk to the beach and in a quiet area. Even though it rained our entire trip the covered patios made it enjoyable to be outside! Would absolutely stay here again.

Salty paws

We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the house. Plenty of room for the 10 of us and a quick walk to the beach from the house. House has plenty of games to play in the closet as well. The screened in back porch was a nice touch for early morning coffee or to enjoy dinner and conversation. We would/will be back to enjoy the house and all it offers. Property owners were in constant communication with us, making sure we made it safely and we had everything we needed.

We sure appreciated the openness and the plenty of space during our recent stay. Sorely missed was an icemaker, please hook the existing one to a water supply! We enjoyed our stay!

Great Stay!

This is a very well maintained property. We had plenty of room for our family… Myself, hubby & 2 daughters along with their families. The responsiveness from the owners was prompt. The only reason we give the location a 4, was the steady traffic in & out of the Wyndham entrance. The large backyard was a huge bonus! Location to the beach was a short distance. Overall, we’d stay again.

Great stay for our friend vacation

The house was exactly as expected! It’s perfect for a large family or 2 families with kids the loft was perfect for them. Plenty of room for us all. The kids loved watching all the deer, and there was plenty of room for them to play outside.

Wonderful experience

We loved staying at this house. It was plenty of room for the 7 of us. We enjoyed going to the beach and sitting on the porch in the evenings watching the deer come by daily. We definitely would love to come back.

GREAT property, but read the details carefully

The house is beautiful and comfortable, we love Edisto, and the weather was perfect. This was our lase "girl's week at the beach" before winter. The "per night" price was reasonable, but all the cleaning and management fees really added up. Shortly before our trip, we realized we needed to provide our own sheets and towels - which was, technically, listed on the VRBO website but was noted on a pull-down rather than in the main text. Two members of our group use VRBO a lot, and they were surprissed by all the add-on costs. Overall, the property is wonderful, but the pricing felt deceptive.

Lovely beach house

We enjoyed our stay at Salty Paws! The house is lovely and comfortable. It has a peaceful shaded back porch off the kitchen, and outdoor conveniences of a second table, charcoal grill, and swings under the house. We had everything we needed but be sure to bring paper products, a couple trash bags, and spices if you might need them. This was our first trip to edisto and it is a quiet family friendly and retirement age friendly beach. There are a few good restaurants and a grocery store for supplies. We’d like to return with more family and Salty Paws has plenty of room to be able to do that comfortably. Thank you for sharing your beach house!
