About this property
Lake House retreat kayaking, boating, bird watching
Beautiful four bedroom three and a half bath home right on the lake in Klamath falls taking in the sunsets, the wildlife, the on water activities a beautiful place to take your family and just get away from it all. You are less than 45 minutes away from Crater lake national Park. You're less than 45 minutes from the lava beds in California great place to take the kids and get away from the heat viewing all the caves. There's lots of mountain biking trails hiking trails within walking and biking distance. Also local parks with playground equipment for children within walking distance. We do have a few bikes for your use as well but we don't provide helmets. your hosts are members of the local yacht club, there is sailing every Wednesday night during the summer months that you can watch from the club or anywhere on shore. Friday night it's just the bar is open . A great place just to relax if you'd like to go you could be my guest. Couple months out of the year we have a midi hatch. These little green insects were brought in to eat the mosquito larvae years ago so we don't have a large mosquito population however the midges can be a little bit of a nuisance. The key thing is they're attracted to light so if you're out on the deck in the evening make sure there's no lights on or doors or windows open at night it's best to keep the lights off and they won't be too much of a bother. They are harmless.. the lake is very warm my kids enjoy tubing and being pulled on a the big red mat wakeboarding kayaking paddle boarding during the summer months. The home is located and it called the sac with a shared driveway. No busy traffic very quiet great place to get away. As your host we live next door and we are available most of the time if there's anything that you need just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you.. welcome to the Lakefront house

Great location and a great visit to a beautiful national park. The house was lovely and the host was wonderful. We had no major issues and they were even kind enough to let us check out late.
Property is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed and comfortable. Host was great. Views were wonderful too and neighborhood is walkable to hiking trails and parks.
Stephen was very responsive before and during our stay. Very nice and gracious host. We were on our honeymoon. We used the kayaks almost every day. One of the best hikes was to the top of a peak at Moore park, only a mile from the property. Weather was perfect as was everything else.
We had a great visit! The property was great and we enjoyed the kayaks as well as the porch and game room! The kitchen was great for cooking meals. Host was communicative regarding property questions. We visited Crater Lake National Park during our visit, and it was about an hour drive away.
Great house and location. We were able to take a day trip to Crater Lake and then return and enjoy the house and lake. House was spotless, spacious- and the lemon bars were delicious. Kids enjoyed the kayaks and tried some fishing off the dock. Owners were very welcoming and great with communication. Thanks for a lovely stay. .
This house was the perfect spot for our family from Oregon, central and Southern California to gather. We especially loved the kayaks (kids kayaks were perfect for our 5 and 7 year olds), canoe, trampoline and the game room. The kitchen is fully stocked and there was plenty of room for all 9 of us. We truly enjoyed our time.
We had a great stay in Klamath Falls at the lake house. The house was perfect for our group and provided everyone with enough space for everyone to gather together and have time apart. The kids room was a hit with our 3 boys. They loved having a zone to themselves. The game room was also a great way to spend our time. We kayak and swam in the lake. The hosts were great with communicating promptly and very personable. We would definitely stay again!
The house on the lake was breath taking!!! Owners were super friendly and helpful, peaceful mornings on the upper porch to watch the sunrise and drink at night to watch it set were perfect will be back
The house was spacious and clean as it offered everything we needed. Everyone in the family really enjoyed the accommodations. Only concern was the difficulty of securing the exterior French doors.
Lovely home, lots of room. Incredible hospitality - they provided access to bicycles, kayaks. Super responsive hosts. We even had a delicious, home-baked surprise in the fridge waiting for us!
We felt very welcome.
The property was amazing, and access to the river & lake were fantastic. While there are river bugs, they are the helpful kind that keep the mosquitos away. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at this wonderful House and would definitely stay again if we come back to Klamath Falls. The owners were readily available to assist and provide input to any inquiries we had. Definitely a must stay!
House was wonderful, very comfortable and set up for large groups. Our friends and family loved it. The decks and bird watching was great! Thank you!! ❤️
Our family and sons teenage friends stayed here so we could visit Oregon Polytechnic College. This house has it all and is very large for everyone to have their own space. The boys loved the game room and we had a ton of fun fishing on the private dock, using the house kayaks and enjoyed boating and tubing on the lake with the help of the host, who was very friendly and helpful! Beautiful nature and enjoyed bonding with family and friends! You will definitely make amazing memories here! :)
Super nice house, had plenty of space and a nice game room to keep us entertained. We stayed in early spring so cannot speak to the lake and outdoor activities but seems like it would be a blast. Kitchen was fully equipped. Host lives next door and is super friendly. Great overall experience!

Good time with family instead of area amenities.
We planned on spending a lot of time on and in the water. With all the green algae and lots of snakes in and around the canoes and in the water, no one wanted to take advantage. We did enjoy the game room, trampoline and swing. The air conditioning unit could not keep up and we all were sweating the whole time we were there. The washing machine leaked terribly with water running out in the floor and even into game room. We had planned on a trip to Crater Lake, but traffic was so backed up, we never made it into the park.
