Always Amazing

The condo is clean and nicely decorated and furnished. Very close to the beautiful beach and if staying home the back porch is serene and peaceful. Highly recommend this unit at Amelia Landings!

“Tree Top” apartment Amelia Island

Excellent place to stay. Very well equipped and comfortable bed. The balcony overlooks a pond where you can watch an alligator every morning. Being on the third floor made us close to the bird life in the trees. Such a variety of birds. The pool is a short walk from the property and the beach not too far away. Great communication with owners who respond very quickly. Easy check in/check out. Would definitely recommend.

Fall long weekend

We took a long weekend to attend a concert in Jacksonville and wanted to check out the island. Great location, quiet and peaceful. Very convenient to the beach’s and shops. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Island Treehouse is AMAZING

This is the 2nd time renting-The home is perfect for us and will be our go to rental each time we visit Amelia Island-Trish and Dave are by far..... the best VRBO hosts-No detail is left out of the house, and they are so quick to answer any questions-They are AWESOME as is the home and we can't wait to come back-Thank You-Thank You!!!

Beautiful accommodation and so user friendly; had everything labeled so we didn't have to look for anything. Owner responded within minutes to any questions we had. Beds were very comfy! Plenty of beach towels and beach toys for a day on the beach. We really didnt want to leave this little piece of heaven. ONLY drawback: it's on third floor and no elevator, BUT that only gave our calves an exercise which is good. Most definitely will book again.

Relaxing Treehouse Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Island Treehouse. There was no detail or convenience lacking. Everything we needed (and then some) was included. We didn’t mind the 3 flights of steps—it kept us in shape! The moment you open the door you feel the tranquility of a cozy island escape. Clean, crisp and meticulously decorated. The location was perfect. Close proximity to many on-island venues and beaches. But also not far from off-island destinations. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a perfect Amelia Island experience….whether long-term or abbreviated. You won’t want to leave!

Great find on Amelia Island

First off, Trish is a fantastic host and as communicative as you need her to be. The property has clearly been renovated and is as nice as it looks in the pictures. The top floor corner spot does indeed overlook a little lagoon where we watched wildlife and evening sunsets from the spacious screened porch. It's a short walk to the "jungle path" (as my kids called it) that takes you most of the way to the beach. It's the best of both worlds: a quiet, wilderness stay not far from the ocean. As mentioned in the listing, this is on the third floor so might be a concern for those with limited mobility. But we had no issues and in fact prefer staying up high "in the trees." We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back again!

Wonderful Condo

Great location for a vacation getaway. Nice balcony view overlooking pond to watch wildlife while relaxing after a day on the beach. Everything inside is condo is updated and in great condition, and Property manager is very responsive for any questions or concerns. We had a great visit and will definitely be returning for out next vacation at Amelia Island.

Awesome TreeHouse Feeling Rental

Beautiful rental property with a treehouse feeling overlooking a lovely pond. Wonderful porch to watch alligators, turtles, and birds all while reading a book. Home is just a short walk to the beach and very close to restaurants. Beds are are extremely comfortable and living space is ideal for a small family. My family enjoyed this home for a long week. Home owners make check in and out extremely easy, and the entire experience was so enjoyable.

Lovely treehouse villa

We loved this unit in Amelia landings! 3rd floor walk up - no elevator (we knew this & worth it to be on top floor). We loved the decor and felt at home. View of lagoon was awesome and we saw alligator(s), a bird that swam underwater, turtles sunning on the rocks, & loved sitting out there. King sized bed was perfect for my 6’4” husband. Had no problems and Trish was great at answering questions pretty quickly. Beach was perfect and not crowded. The shaded trail through the “jungle” is quick and easy. Pool was nice too. We’d love to come back! Highly recommend!

Fabulous Island Hideaway

The Island Treehouse offers the best of both worlds, a few short blocks to the beach, yet a peaceful location backing against a wildlife refuge. The home was squeaky clean, well equipped and beautifully furnished. Outdoor space included a spacious screened in porch perfect for breakfast and evening refreshments. Definitely on our list for return bookings!

Old Friends Getaway

The unit was clean and uniquely located up in the trees on the 3rd floor. We loved the peaceful view from the screened porch, onto a pond below. The owners supplied many nice extra things that are not always included in many rentals, making it unnecessary to run out and buy paper products, plastic wrap, DW soap, coffee filters, etc. Communication was prompt and easy. We loved the "pedestrian only" beach path from the complex almost all the way to the beach.

Perfect Place in Amelia Island

Love the back porch for sitting and listening to the birds with the water view. So close to the beautiful beach and live music at Sliders. Great location and well appointed accommodations. I'll be back!

Wonderful experience!

Trish offers a cute & quaint rental. We’d say it seems to be located in a natural habitat especially with the description of being in the “tree house”. We sat on the porch enjoying our morning coffee listening to the birds as well as watching it rain from time to time. So peaceful. Thank you for such a great getaway!

We loved this property!

Wow, this place was amazing! I stayed with two of my girlfriends. The property was exactly as listed. The two full bathrooms were a definite bonus for three ladies sharing the condo. Yes, it is located on the third floor and there is no elevator. We knew this before we booked the property and had no issues using the stairs. The condo is nicely updated and there are plenty of pillows and extra blankets. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics like pots & pans, silverware, plates and cups. All you have to do is bring your food and everything else is there for you. The on-site washer and dryer came in handy, too. Thank you for leaving clear instructions how to get to the beach. There is a pathway that leads to the road where you can access the beach. I think we made the walk in four minutes. I loved that the balcony was screened in. There is a beachfront restaurant(Sliders)that we ate at once, but had drinks at many times. It’s walking distance from the condo. We were there in November, so it was nice and quiet. Although we didn’t use the beach stuff, there is a closet full of chairs, a wagon and other beach items. We also had plenty of towels for three of us. There is a binder on the Welcome table that has all the info you need for the property. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thanks for the use of this wonderful vacation property!

Great peaceful getaway

Zero issues with the property. It was very clean, well-maintained, and equipped. Trish was very welcoming and responsive to our little questions here and there. The complex is in a very quiet and beautiful setting. Must have also been a low travel week, as there wasn’t much activity around the property, which was nice. Watched a HUGE alligator snapping turtle traversing from creek to pond right from the screened porch. On still days you can hear the breaking waves of the ocean from the condo, and the beach is an easy 5 minute walk down a path and across a street. Come to Amelia Island! Plenty to do for the week on and near the island.

Just what we needed!

Everything was spotless and well organized. Communication with Trish was easy and she always responded promptly when we needed anything. We took the trail to the beach the first day and found it to be a little too narrow and overgrown, but there’s public beach access seconds from the condo. We wound up taking our truck and driving onto the beach every day, which made setting up and packing beach gear even easier.

After twenty plus years of operating my own small business I retired and decided to explore the vacation rental business. It's been my dream to be on permanent vacation someday. I hope you enjoy our place as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We were looking for a turn key operation and this property came up for sale. Maybe I am partial because its ours but I really think our house in the treetops offers the best in privacy, comfort, and the most amazing views of Florida wildlife. We love that we are just a 7 minute walk away from the beach and if it gets too hot we can retreat to our lofty balcony nestled in the shade of the tall oak trees.

What makes this property unique

This location is convenient to everything on the island. Downtown, beaches, museums, state parks, restaurants, nightlife, grocery, shopping you name it. Step out onto the front landing and hear the waves crashing on the beach. Every day brings wildlife to our backyard. There are wood storks, herons, alligators, turtles and more. Best of all is that you will leave here feeling refreshed and spiritually renewed. Despite our little community being tucked away and surprisingly quiet, everything is just a few minutes away or within walking distance. Walk (10 minutes) or drive (1 minute) to the beach. Want to see more? Historic St. Augustine is just a short drive. You'll never run out of things to see and do.
