Beautiful home in the perfect location!

Our family loved this home! It is beautiful and exactly as listed, communication with the host was fast and easy, and it was close to everything we had planned for the weekend. We will stay again and would recommend to others!

Family girl weekend

Family girl weekend of four generations ranging in ages from 13-81 stayed the weekend and had a great time being together visiting, playing games, shopping and eating out. Enjoyed the shops in Makanda and eating at Giant City Lodge. The house was very clean and spacious and was perfect for our weekend getaway. Everything was perfect!!!

Beautiful Stay!

We wanted a place to have a relaxing stay for friends with wineries nearby. This was a perfect place! The open concept was perfect for spending time together and the proximity to wineries was nice. It was very clean and welcoming from the start. The host was helpful. I recommend this place and will probably stay again in the future!

The house was better than expected. Very clean, plenty of kitchen and dishware, The beds were very comfortable. We had a great time watching the eclipse and then all the wildlife too. Lovely.

Spacious and homey living in the country...

We thoroughly enjoyed this modern open floor plan domicile. It was nicely stocked with everything needed to make us feel like this was our home away from home. The beds are very comfy, the two bathrooms gave us plenty of space for our crew of 5 and small touches, like a blanket basket, helped us settle right in. The views and sounds of nature are the frosting on the getaway "cupcake". Would definitely return.

Perfect house for a larger group!

We rented this house for a bachelorette party weekend and it was absolutely perfect! It had plenty of space for everyone to sleep as well as a large open area to eat, play games and watch tv. We had a group of 10 and every single person commented on how nice the house was! The outside patio area was also very nice and had great views. The owner was very easy to communicate with and get ahold of with any questions. Will definitely make plans to return in the future!

Absolutely LOVED this home! It was the ideal location for the work I needed to complete. Also had amazing views of the wildlife outside the kitchen window around dusk! So quiet and peaceful!!! Additionally, the host was so kind and accommodating. Only complaint is my time there was too short :(. Hope to be back very soon!

Our stay here was amazing! The house is beautiful and well decorated. The location was great and very peaceful, but also conveniently located near Blue Sky! We had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of space to relax! We will definitely be back!

This place was amazing, so nice and clean and had everything we needed. Stayed here on a girls trip, there were 6 of us and it was so comfortable and accommodating. The property owner was very responsive. Would love to stay here again the next time I visit.

Great rental for a wine trail trip

I've stayed at this rental twice and loved both times. The property is a great location if you in Shawnee visiting wineries. The rental owner is great at communicating check in/out details as well.

Great family getaway with something for everyone

Our extended family of 10, ages 10 - 67 had a great time here! From the nearby alpaca farm and wineries to all the great hiking it was a great location. It’s a beautiful property with lots of space. The house was well stocked and very clean.

Girl’s Getaway

This was a girls’ getaway and was the perfect spot for us. The cabin was beautifully appointed with everything we needed. The owner, Trisha, was awesome and made sure everything was going well. We all had a great time here.
