Lovely log cabin in the woods - deer at the door. Well appointed kitchen. Room to relax and socialize. Trails to hike and enjoy the quiet peacefulness of the area.
Stayed here with my family and we loved it! There is so much to do outside on the property and the home is perfect for game nights. An added bonus were the animals: birds, deer, and the neighborhood cat were a joy to see.

Very nice quiet cabin
We had a very relaxing stay. Would go back here. Very secluded feeling. Lots of deer to watch and a friendly neighborhood cat.
We had a wonderful spring vacation with our 3 young children. The cabin was perfect; picturesque and peaceful. The kids loved exploring the property, finding frogs and toasting marshmallows. The cabin was so clean and comfortable; extra shout out to nice warm/hot shower water and plenty for even all 5 of us to take back-to-back showers; must have a great hot water tank. Would highly recommend. This was a darling place.
We had a great girls getaway weekend! The cabin was very well equipped with everything you need to enjoy yourselves. The hosts have thought of everything. We are already thinking about when we want to stay again!
Beautiful cabin in the woods! Cozy, easy together to. We had family out for dinner one night and the kids loved the pond! There was plenty of room to run and play outside! She had portable ac units to plug in and kept us cool!
Our whole experience was overall amazing. When I had a question I received a quick response, the check-in was simple, and the cabin and property were excellent. The cabin was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. We wish we would have stayed longer to enjoy the cabin and 80 acres more. I do wish there were more instructions on what we should do when we left, like if we should strip the beds and where to put the linens. Other than that it was a great experience

Dog hair everywhere!
We were very happy with the proximity to family, the secluded location and wildlife. However, upon arrival and getting ourselves settled, we soon realized the floors were filthy and littered with black dog hair! The cobwebs throughout the home had clumps of dog hair stuck in them. The coffee maker water reservoir was dirty. We have 3 boys (8, 5 and 2). Their hands and feet turned black from playing on the floors with the toys we brought with to entertain them. We had to move the couch sections to find lost toys and there were clumps of dog hair and chewed dog bones. The beds had dog hair between the sheets. The washer and dryer had black dog hair all over as well. The bathroom and shower floors were pretty bad too. I ran the shower head sprayer along the edge of the shower and clumps of dog hair everywhere. The front porch is not much to be desired either. The wooden chairs were unkempt. There were shot gun shells throughout various drawers. Not ideal with young kids in the home. Not to mention the scrub brush and sponge for dishes were disgusting and should be thrown out along with multiple used toothbrushes in the bathroom that should be tossed. We've been to other VRBO properties and this was by far the worst experience. If you don't allow dogs, then the dogs you do keep there need to be cleaned up after. There is a cleaning fee which seems to be pocketed and not actually being put towards an actual cleaning service.
Our family getaway was perfect. Owners are very kind, communicative and helpful!!
The cabin had everything we needed and then some!!
Beautiful cabin with so many amenities and outdoor beauty!! Nice trail to the pond... saw lots of deer! Absolutely awesome is all we can say. Thank you for your hospitality!!
It is a beautiful setting and you are isolated from the road, if you are looking for privacy, it's great. It is a two bedroom cabin with kitchen, living room and dining area. It was perfect size for my two brothers and their spouses. My husband and I had my family at our house for meals and then would travel to the cabin to spend the evening playing games and drinking wine :-). That was nice because we would do the traveling back home for the evening instead of them returning to the cabin. It was Cranberry Festival in Wisconsin Rapids when I went looking for a place for family to stay; hotels and motels were booked and we could rent a whole house for the same price as a room. With Co-vid as you know, my husband's family and mine for the past two years stayed in VRBO houses because we were the only people in the facility with all the comforts of home; could fix meals, relax and still have the privacy of your own room usually with a bath depending on the house. This cabin only has the one bathroom but my two brothers their spouses and us had stayed together the year before and had no problems with sharing facilities. We went to fix pizzas one night and realized there is no oven. Didn't catch that in the description. However, there is a range and a toaster oven you can heat smaller items. So we were able to fix and enjoy our pizzas. It was a lovely place for my family to stay and relax and for us to visit with them in the evening. The host and hostess are very helpful as well.
This property was amazing! Great looking house with modern amenities. The house is large with one bedroom downstairs and a spacious upstairs loft area with multiple beds. The WiFi works great! There is a TV, but with only streaming services available. The house was in immaculate condition when we arrived. Very clean. The property is large. It is located in a rural area away from the highway and large towns; Steven's Point is about a 30 minute drive away. The house is surrounded by lots of trees so it's very quiet and secluded. There's a nice fire pit and small pond a few hundred feet from the house. The stars at night are wonderful! Great spot to sit out and stare into the sky. Lots of wild life in the area. Very peaceful. The host was very friendly and easy to talk to. Got some great recommendations on activities and places to check out. I would highly recommend this property. Great place for relaxing get away.
A beautiful cabin in a peaceful setting. Everything was clean and included all we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners answered all our questions in a timely fashion. The location is a bit remote but we enjoyed the peace and tranquility as the purpose of our stay was to gather together to catch up up with each other's lives.
Three college friends and I rented this cabin for a girl’s weekend and really enjoyed ourselves! The cabin is well appointed and clean in a beautiful and peaceful location. We spent a really fun day in Marshfield checking out the amazing Salvation Army.
