History wildlife and a pool

Great house for a family or two. Very well stocked kitchen. Good grill too. Close to Harper’s Ferry sites and a few places to eat too.

Nurses annual get together

This was the nicest place we have stayed since we started getting together years ago. We all were in nursing school together and have remained friends. We celebrated our 80 th birthdays this year. This place was just perfect. The owners thought of everything and it is just as it was described.

Beautiful home in a perfect location

Our favorite place to visit

We’ve been staying here about once a year for over three years now and it’s just a very tranquil beautiful home. We relax, fellowship, and always enjoy the pool. Hopefully, when we visit again possibly later in the year we can use the hot tube

Great Summer Getaway

Check in was easy. House was very clean. Quiet neighborhood, outdoor dining table was great, and everyone loved the pool. Kitchen was well-stocked with everything needed to make delicious meals. Plenty of indoor space that allowed family members quiet time to relax. We had a great time and are definitely interested in staying here again.

Harpers Ferry Getaway

We had the most amazing time. The house was spacious and with impeccable decor. The hot tub was great after walking around town. We have the greatest memories. We definitely want to come back again.

Another Great Stay

Our 3rd stay at this property for an annual family get-together. We love this place. Plenty of room for everyone without feeling cramped. Love the big kitchen, LOVE the covered back porch and table and swing. We had a great time as usual. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

Girls weekend

There were 8 of us. The house was beautifully kept and perfect for us. Bedrooms were comfortable and we enjoyed the three comfy rooms to visit and play games. Did the hot tub and loved it. Overall a great spot.

Another Great Stay

We love this place! It was our second stay at this property. Perfect spot for our family to get together. The house is so nice and comfy, well appointed. We enjoyed the pool, LOVE the covered porches and huge table on the back porch for meals. Plenty of room for everyone, lots of areas to spread out in. Would love to return.

Beautiful and Spacious

The house is spacious and the furniture is comfortable. Beautifully decorated and well stocked. The layout of the downstairs is perfect for gathering together without being overcrowded. Very convenient location in a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Amazing extended weekend in Harpers Ferry

This house served as the cornerstone of an amazing weekend getaway for our family (2 kids) and another family (2 kids)-- with plenty of room to spare. It was impeccably decorated, clean, and so inviting. The hosts were communicative and wonderfully accommodating. Its location is perfect-- only a mile from "Snow Riders" snow tubing, which we visited and had a blast. This house is by far one of the best vacation rentals we've stayed at and we're already talking about coming back in the Summer to take advantage of that pool!

Awesome place in the woods

Great house with amazing porches. Relaxing on swing and in pool was awesome way to start and end the day. Close to downtown and Harpers Ferry National Park entrance. Walking distance to fun restaurants, the Barn and the Bolivar Bread Bakery. Trails to downtown right out front door.

Christmas in WV

We had a wonderful Christmas family trip and this home was perfect for our large family. The floor plan is great for a large group due to the 3 living spaces. Kitchen was adequately equipped. Very clean and well managed. I hope we can come back again in the summer and enjoy the pool.

Excellent property and owners

Our group of 5 had an exceptional weekend at this property. The owner was very responsive and quick to respond to communications. The property is well kept and very convenient to everything in Harper's Ferry. ALot of thought was put into ensuring that the property had every amenity that you would need during your stay. We will definitely be back!

Lovely and comfortable house full of amenities!

We had a great time exploring Harper’s Ferry and nearby parks on a blustery March weekend. The hot tub was a big hit! The house was quiet, well appointed, clean and felt very roomy for our party of 9. We are hoping to return in the summer to enjoy the amazing outdoor eating area and fire pit! The owners were so flexible with us and highly communicative- we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

5 ⭐️!

We just had the best weekend in Harpers Ferry largely in part due to this property and everything it entailed!! The house is fantastic for a large group, wonderful common areas and tons of privacy. Everything was comfortable and spacious. Tons of games/activities/trails right on property. The welcome book helped us navigate our weekend easily! We will be making “Decanted” an annual trip for our family reunions!

Lovely Property

This is our second stay and it won’t be the last. We absolutely love this property as it has just about everything you need when vacationing home away from home. Hopefully next time we’re there the pool lights will be working so we can continue to enjoy the pool at night. There is also a jacuzzi that we’d like to enjoy later as well. We’ll definitely be back.

Family Reconnection Weekend

Perfect home to chill with our adult kids and 2 yr old grandbaby. Lots of seating for relaxing, eating, and game playing. Close to town and hiking. Very clean and beautifully decorated. The sisters were great at communication. We would love to return when the weather is warmer. Thanks for a much needed retreat with the family

Fantastic family gathering space!

This house is stocked with everything you may need! Very clean and comfortable. We had plenty of space to gather and visit with family. Spacious kitchen stocked with all the essentials and then some! Very large tables so large groups can eat all together. Everyone enjoyed the comfortable living spaces for coffee in the mornings before going out for activities. The outdoor areas are set up wonderfully. The pool area is comfortable enough for many people to sit and chat with the people hanging out in the pool as well! Joanne was quick to respond when we had an issue and needed to ask a question. We enjoyed our stay very very much!

Perfect for us!

This house was perfect for my entire family. The spatial layout of the house provided several different areas for my group of 10 to comfortably gather together or individually. The outdoor space around the pool accommodated all of our needs. The setup was exactly what we wanted and needed to enjoy our time in Harper's Ferry. If you appreciate beautiful details and creative interior design in your physical environment, this is the place!

Perfect getaway

Our weekend away with family and our kids was perfect. The house had plenty of entertainment and space for the kids as well as for the adults. The kitchen was well stocked with all cooking supplies and wasn’t missing anything. I appreciated that towels for bath and pool were provided to make one less thing to pack. The bedding and pillows were plentiful. I also appreciated that there weren’t a ton of clean up tasks required by the landlord before we left (unlike some other properties we’ve stayed in) making leaving easier and giving me more confidence in the cleanliness since the cleaning before we got there was professionally done and not just by the last tenant. We’ll definitely be back again!
