Had a great stay. Love the cabin and remote location right on the lake. My only suggestion is being more upfront about the fact that this cabin is 100% off grid with quite a few processes to ensure you have all the systems running properly every day. This was not a problem for us as we are mechanically inclined, but it did come as a surprise as I didn’t see this in the rental description.Regardless, we had a really wonderful stay and would definitely reccoment the place to others
This cabin was exactly as advertised. The cabin was well appointed and very thoughtfully laid out. It’s on an awesome spot on the lake and close to many more. Owner was excellent in all aspects. Highly recommend to anyone.
Great cabin, suited us very well. Road in is currently being worked on and thus was very muddy and a regular car would have not been able to get to the cabin. Hopefully the work will be done soon. Otherwise everything was fantastic.
The cabin was even better than the pictures! Communication was great. The boys caught tons of fish. No trophy’s but lots of action. We had a couple of rainy days so made plenty of use of the crib table.
The cabin has everything you could think of. My only suggestion would be to add another frying pan. :)
We’ll definitely be going back!
This was a great place for our annual family girl gathering.
The cabin is beautiful, with lots of room, and a million dollar view. The lake access was ok. The cabin had everything we needed, from high end kitchen supplies to bedding for all. The two things we didn't like, the area around the boat dock made it hard to get in and out of the lake , was steep and crowded with bush, made it hard to take our kayaks in and out without almost falling or twisting an ankle. We are a group of 50 - 70 year olds :) We did get it all figured out though in the end, and enjoyed the lake very much. The other thing, which would have been nice, is more wattage for hair dryer etc. Nothing serious, just a preference. We did bring our own drinking water, which we didn't realize we needed. People might want to know that ahead of time. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin for any family or friend gathering. 5 Star for sure.
We booked this cabin for a Christmas getaway for 4 adults and it exceeded all of our expectations. The cabin itself was a perfect blend of modern amenities and rustic charm, with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of books and games. The bear theme and cariboo glassware was a really nice touch and made us feel like the owners put a lot of thought into creating a memorable experience. They went above and beyond by putting out some Christmas decorations for our stay. Skating on the lake on Christmas Day was a dream come true and the highlight of our trip. Overall, 10/10 experience! We are grateful to the owners for their attention to detail and hospitality, which made our trip unforgettable. Thank you so much!
We stayed at the Bears Den over the Thanksgiving weekend. We had the most amazing time. The location is to die for and the cabin itself is absolutely beautiful, roomy and spotless!
Communication was excellent with Aaron and Daniel. We enjoyed meeting Aaron and his family as well while we were there.
The cabin is equipped with everything you could ever want. The beds are extremely comfortable as well.
We definitely will be back. This was a memorable Thanksgiving for our family. Thanks again Aaron and Family !
This fabulous remote getaway delivered in so many ways. An immaculately furnished well kept cabin with lots of nice touches and amenities. Easy access to the lake front. Easy communication with the property manager. All in all a fantastic find. Very relaxing time.
We loved our trip to the Bear's Den. We ice skated, built snow forts, snowshoed, played endless board games, read by the fire and relaxed in the cosy cabin. It had everything we could have hoped for and more. The dogs also had the time of their lives running through the forest. We will be coming back for more adventures SOON!
Nice remote cabin with all of the “off grid” conveniences
Good overall experience but needs some cheat sheets for the operation of the services
