My daughter and I found this house to be very comfortable and welcoming. The house is convenient to everything and the neighborhood is quiet with friendly neighbors. There were such nice attention to details! The power went out briefly in town on our last night--not a problem! There were 2 lanterns in the kitchen area. Beds are comfy (though we did not use the bunk room) and the kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to prepare meals. We will definitely be back!
The property was very nice as was the location. It was exactly as we had anticipated! The only problem was that the owner had changed the code on the lockbox and forgot to tell us. At check we spent 20 minutes trying to get in and it was raining. We left to go get something to eat and I was able to get in touch with him on the second call over the course of about 45 minutes. Getting in was no problem with the correct code!! All else was perfect (they even have a little box of complimentary toiletries in the bathroom in case you forget something) and I recommend the house!
The house was great, the location was awesome. Plenty of things to do. So close to the bike path and walking distance to town. People were so friendly. We will be back. Thanks MJ.
Six of us spent a few days fishing the lake. The boat ramp was minutes from the house. Perfect location. Place was very nice and clean. Thinking about planning a trip back next year!
Michael's home worked perfect for a family getaway. Easy access to the GAP trail and there are lots of water activities nearby. The house worked for our group of 5 and fur baby. The listing is as described and wifi worked great for me as i had to check in at work occasionally. We enjoyed our time together post covid and had never visited this area before. I'm glad we chose to come here vs picking a vacation rental at deep creek lake. Thanks
The house was very comfortable, just as described with many amenities and was in a great location for enjoying the beautiful natural areas nearby. Michael, the host, was very quick in responding and reached out during our stay to make sure we didn't have any concerns. I would definitely stay here again.
