We enjoyed the quiet during off- season in the cozy cabin. Loved sitting on the enclosed front porch. Located close to Fort Harrod and Shaker Village which were both enjoyable visits.
Perfect for our stay. It wasnt fancy but neither are we. Comfortable, clean and quiet. Felt very safe and plan to go back when we are in the area again.
Had a very relaxing few days at this property. Cole was very easy to work with. Will be staying again.

Fabulous property for a vacation. Local community very nice and the host is quick to respond. Full kitchen a plus for cooking and happy that there was a yard for kid to play.
Our stay was great, the beds are newer than the pictures let on. In place of the queen there is a bunk bed with a queen below and a single above. The king bed seems to have been updated as well. Very clean!

Old Dated Cabin
Arrived after dark to a cabin with no front porch or any lights on. Owner didn’t provide check in instructions - didn’t have code to get in. Owner was quick to reply / friendly, however; after using local Wifi to connect (Cell Service is terrible here).
Cabin itself is very dated, and over years has settled to point the cabin itself isn’t level but everything appears to be safe / working. Additionally, there were very few electrical outlets - particularly by beds which made me have to sleep at foot of bed vs head of bed bc I needed an outlet for my CPAP machine.
Lastly, the windows aren’t sealed as you’ll see the curtains move / blow with the wind that hits the side of the cabin.
Overall, it did the trick for a couple night stays for opening weekend of modern gun deer season. The cabin itself was clean, but again…very dated and needs some TLC. $ cost / night…is a little stiff for this property during non-peak season and probably wouldn’t have rented had I know everything prior.
We had a great time. The cabin was very nice and lots of room for everyone. Very clean and comfortable for all of us. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed all the amenities we rented a paddle board for the kids and they had a great place to swim. Want to say thank you to Cole and the entire staff for you great hospitality hope to come back real soon.
