Pretty clean, but grill was a challenge. No cover in the mountains will take a toll for sure. No shovel or salt provided, which left the entrance pretty difficult.
Great property. Couple small problems: stove/oven was very dated so it took a long time to cook meals, water line busted in the city so no water pressure one morning, key pad lock didn’t work so we had to go get keys. Overall a great stay.
Overall, the stay was fine. We had a smoke alarm start beeping in the middle of the night and it was promptly fixed the next day. The wifi however, never did work. Even after contacting them for help. The layout was good and worked well for two families.

Outdated and in need of repairs
Overall we had a great time because we chose to overlook the outdated and broken aspects of the property. The paint on the walls is spotty and the color they use to touch up isn’t even the same color. Both of the gas fireplaces were out of order. They were the main reason we chose this property. They did send a repairman out but said they would have to order parts. Seemed like an issue they knew about and just hadn’t had the time to fix. For the price we paid I was overall disappointed in the quality of the home. The couch downstairs is so broken down you sat crooked on it. One of the recliners was broken. The pillowcases on the upstairs bed had slobber stains on them. We made the most of our trip, but I would not recommend this place until they do some very needed updates.I am only giving this 4 stars because I know how bad it would affect the overall rating for the homeowners. I would encourage them to check in on the quality of the home and make the much needed repairs.
The property was in a great location to town. It was a little beat up, as there was a lot of scrapes and damage on the walls and a large hole in the ceiling. The pillows on the beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable. As well as the futon and the fold out couch were so uncomfortable to sleep on we purchased air mattresses instead. Also, extra bedding such as sheets, blankets and pillows were not provided for the additional sleeping arrangements (futon and fold out) and had to be purchased in town. We have a large family and the space of the property was very accommodating for us. A huge plus was the water pressure and temperature of the showers!! Another thought is to make sure you bring salt or a shovel, as when it snows/melts and re-freezes to ice the front porch is so slick - several of us fell trying to come and go.
The house was very clean, very big. Plenty of room for myself, my husband, and in-laws to have our own quiet space when we needed it. Two living spaces, two kitchen spaces, two back decks facing the mountainside, sound of running water out the front windows. Loved this vacay property. Would stay here again. Cons: a small dining table for 4. We were a party of 5. One of us dined at the bar. Neighbors and their dogs are VERY close. Be prepared to hear people/pets. Needs addressing: (1) we had no potholders in the kitchen; when towels were damp, getting things out of the oven was challenging. (2) The downstairs toilet (left from entrance) flushed itself every 20 minutes or so, making sleeping soundly in that bedroom a challenge. We turned off the water to that toilet to band-aid the issue. (3) When we had questions about the door code, no one picked up at either phone number we had on hand. Luckily the property manager saw missed calls and called back within 10 minutes.
Other than this, the property was everything we needed and more.
My wife and I decided both of our Mothers needed to have a short getaway from being stuck in their homes for over a year. My Mother is 86 years old and has a difficult time with stairs. This house was wonderful with two bedrooms and two full baths on the ground floor and two bedrooms with two full baths on the second floor. Each of us had a bathroom all to ourselves. The second floor also had a kitchen, living-room and fireplace. It was like two houses with a lot of space. The main floor also had a laundry room. This made the entire stay very comfortable with no waiting on a bathroom. Both of our Mothers loved the house and did not want to leave.
