Waterfronts II - 1st FLOOR STUNNING UNOBSTRUCTED VIEWS - The is the actual view!

Do you desire a vacation where you have all the conveniences of being close to everything, yet, you have your private space, where you can relax and read a book, enjoy time with your significant other, and/or grill a nice meal, literally steps from your back door? This is the place! Enjoy stunning, unobstructed views of the lake. The only space between this condo and the lake is a lawn, and the breaker wall. To the west of this condo, there is a nice beach and Docks Beach house with great food, drinks and entertainment. To the east of the condo, you can walk across the bridge to the the Jet Express and downtown Port Clinton. On the east side of the property, we have a beautiful pool with a hot tub. This property offers the only private beach and private pool in the area.

This condo, this condo is clean and almost everything is new, including new flooring throughout and furnishings, 60" flat screen TV, kitchen supplies/equipment, towels, linens and more!

This condo sleeps 4 people, with a comfy queen bed in master, a day bed with trundle bed in the living room. We also have a new memory form fold out bed, as well. We use 100% cotton sheets, nice pillows and all new linens and comforters.

This one bedroom, one bath condo, is located on the first floor of the building at the very end/very west point of the complex, which makes it much more private than any other unit. Watching the the sunset from this condo is remarkable and unforgettable. It is one of the top 5 condos in the complex.

NOTE: This is unit 246A.

NOTE: We do not have a full range/stove in this condo. We have a combination microwave/broiler/oven and a glass top stove top.

NOTE: We do not have a bathtub. Refer to the picture of the bathroom to see how it is configured.

NOTE: Although this is on the first floor, there are steps to enter the condo from the front. There are no elevators. We do have an end unit, so those with issues with the steps typically enter from the back. There is no walk to the back entry, only a flat grassy area that most navigate without issue. If this is a concern, please do not book within Waterfronts as ALL condos have the same front entry configuration.

Fantastic way to unwind

This is a beautiful property, fabulous location for wind, watching the gulls and water. We enjoyed it immensely. Condo was super cute, efficient, super clean (my #1) and communication with owner was fantastic. We will surely return.

Wonderful property

The decor, storage options and views are the highlight of this property. The condo unit provided everything that was needed. Easy to access and great views of the lake and local beach area. Spent time with family who rented other units and was a perfect week up at the lake. Easy access to everything in Port Clinton and could walk everywhere too!

Hidden gem in Port Clinton

Great walk out condo located on the beach! We have stayed in several condos at the waterfront and this one was the best. Renovated, great layout and the bed was comfortable. Mary was great to work with and we highly recommend this owner.

The perfect place!

I must say this is the best stay we have ever had while using VRBO. Mary is attentive, organized and her condo is clean and neat and very well equipped. We were visiting for the eclipse and were able to put our camp chairs out back and enjoy the lake view and relax then had perfect position for viewing the eclipse (which was awesome too). I will mention too, it is within walking distance to restaurants, bars and the ferry. I highly recommend renting this gem. It is the perfect place!

Great view and location-close to everything

The view from the back is fantastic! Sunsets are beautiful. It's a corner condo so we had an extra few windows making the condo seems more open and bigger. With the windows open there was a nice breeze and didn't have to use the A/C all the time. Walkable to Jet express Docks OTR and downtown. If we were to return to PC we would consider this condo for sure! Kitchen was well stocked with essentials. There is a day bed that has a trundle bed under it, a queen in the bedroom and then an additional couch.

Excellent experience

The condo is in excellent conditon and appears to have been totally updated from both a furnishings and maintenance standpoint. The condo is approximately 25 feet from the lake on both the west and north sides and is located at the northwest corner of the complex with great views from windows on both the west and north corner of the unit. Mary was an outstanding owner to interact with. My wife and I have rented numerous vacation places over the years and overall this condo was the best.

Small Unit

The unit was smaller than expected. The rental pictures showed a small patio out back facing the lake front, but the patio has been removed for just steps. The lighting in the kitchen was not good. I understand the unit is being remodeled, but it would have been nice to know this up front not 2 days before we arrived in an email.

Excellent!

We have stayed at this condo complex now for a week every summer for several years. The complex is always clean and quiet, and is in a perfect location within easy walking distance to several good restaurants, downtown, Jet Express and a nice walk along the shore. Now we have found our favorite condo within the complex! We had a beautiful corner view and enjoyed watching sunsets and a storm approaching. The unit does not get direct sun, so it stays nice and cool. There was plenty of storage drawers and cubbies. The unit was fully stocked with all the soaps, trash bags, paper towels and tp. It even has a full length mirror and iron! The four ceiling fans helped the unit stay cool. The owner is a pleasure to work with, and everything was great for our stay. The neighbors were all pleasant and quiet. We loved the quiet space right out the back door to sit in the shade and look at the lake. This building does not have the large set of wooden steps in the back that some of the other buildings in the complex have, so you have a more open view out the windows. We loved our week here, and hope to book it again for next year!

A Peaceful and Relaxing Stay!

My husband and I wanted to find a nice place on Lake Erie for a Fall getaway. We found it here at this cozy comfy condo hosted by Mary! It was perfect for relaxing and so private as it's situated right on the water with the unit on the first floor at the very end of the complex. We stayed six nights and had all the creature comforts we needed. Although the weather was rainy and blustery for some of our stay, we made the best of it traveling through the quaint towns and islands learning the history of the area. It was, of course, off season for a lot of the restaurants during the week until Friday when way more people were coming in for the weekend. On a couple of those cold rainy days, we drove into upper Sandusky and saw two movies, both scary, but tis the season for a fright or two! If you are looking for a setting with the sound of lake waves coming to shore, this charming, exceptionally clean and well-appointed condo is the place!

Stellar location with gorgeous Lake Erie views

This is a very well-maintained and thoughtfully-stocked condo, recently updated and with just about everything you could want / need. Its location is great, just over the Portage River drawbridge from the Jet Express terminal, and within walking distance of some "not fancy but delicious" local breakfast places (shout-out to Ala Carte Cafe and Coffee Express!) The condo complex is small, but with a nice pool deck and small, sandy beach, but what really sets this particular condo unit apart is its ground-floor (although NOT ADA-accessible) location on the corner of the very end building, so it has a totally unobstructed view of Lake Erie. Bring a lawn chair to sit outside the condo's back door (or sit on the rear steps), and just listen to the waves lapping the big boulders that serve as a barrier between the lawn and the lake. The host was very gracious, with detailed instructions for check-in/ check-out and how to turn things on/off. She was also very helpful in recommending some great local restaurants - which we took full advantage of (Ciao Bella and JJ's Table and Bar) Only 2 aspects worth mentioning. 1) while the instructions for check-in were very clear, we had quite a difficult time opening the unit's lock-box to get the door keys - we've used such lockboxes before, but this one was a real challenge. But maybe it was just us..... 2) The unit's A/C was powerful and cooled the condo satisfactorily (and there are also both multiple ceiling and portable free-standing fans in the unit), but it was LOUD! It didn't bother me, sleeping on the daybed in the living space, but it might make it difficult for a light sleeper. Overall, this is a very nice place to stay, with a gracious and thoughtful host who seems to really want guests to have a great stay. She succeeded with us!

Wonderful holiday weekend. Great break from otherwise hectic lives.

The sunsets and sunrises are gorgeous. So easy to walk into town and shop at the cute stores. Also easy to make a quick trip in the car to pick up any groceries or other items needed. Friendly neighbors. We would definitely rent again.

The host, Mary, took extra care to ensure my safety and comfort during a huge flood that occured over my stay. A memorable experience, but not an unpleasant one. Thinking about coming again next year to see everything I missed due to weather!

Subpar Condo, Difficult Owner

Our stay was only planned for 3 nights and we ended up leaving a night early. The condo was dirty, the A/C is a wall unit that does NOT keep the bedroom cool. After the first night we phoned the owner to see if she would refund our money for the following 2 nights so we could go somewhere more comfortable but she refused. We stayed for another night but ended up leaving a night early just so we could get a decent night's sleep. There were many details that we weren't aware of until after we had already booked (like the A/C not being central and having to do our own laundering of sheets and towels before we leave). This was an expensive lesson learned...…..be sure you ask a lot of questions before you book because you may not have a cooperative owner.

I was born and raised in Amherst, Ohio. When I was young, we used to "vacation" in Port Clinton. After moving away for work and schooling, I decided to move back and realize my dream of having a full-time place in the Port Clinton area. I purchased my first condo in 2002 and have since purchased two others in the community. When I purchased the first one, I magically found that I had a lot of friends and I needed more space to host them so I purchased 2 others. You cannot beat the location and amenities. The fact that we did not have to get in a car to get a great meal or have a few drinks or listen to great music....it made our time there incredibly enjoyable and we came up almost every weekend in the summers and stayed during the spring, winters and fall as well as the lake is stunning at any time of the year. Over the last couple of years, I have sold the two others, and have kept this condo primarily for myself, family and friends, hence the few reviews on this site. With that said, I am a 5 star, premier host on both VRBO and AIRBNB for my properties. I enjoy assisting folks in making sure they have their ideal vacation. You will not be disapointed in this condo. It is my favorite, which is why I kept it. It is stunning and very comfortable. You cannot beat the view. And with the grill steps from the back door, you can enjoy you freshly grilled dinner and drinks steps from the lake.

What makes this property unique

Close to bars, restaurants, walk to downtown or across the bridge to the Jet Express. Jet ski rentals next door as well as a beach front restaurant. Cedar Point 20-30 minutes away. Great location with only property with private beach and pool in Port Clinton. Why rent a hotel, when you can get a large 1 bedroom condo on the water for less??
