About this property

Peaceful and Secluded Peace of Heaven in the Mountains - BACK UNDER OWNER MGMNT

Our cabin is a cozy retreat offering 2 bedrooms and two full baths and has NO STAIRS. Bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the house which provides the utmost privacy for each visitor. Both bedrooms have a king size bed and a smart TV. As a courtesy, there is a foldout mattress and an air mattress provided for extra guests.

The living room sofa and loveseat each have 2 power recliners. It has a fireplace with gas logs and a 56" wide screen smart TV. Regardless of the weather you can enjoy the picturesque outside views through the 6' x 8' picture window.

The kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for dining in. The dining area provides seating for 7.

Enjoy added entertainment playing the sit-down video arcade game for single or double play with 48 games, including Pac-Man and Donkey Kong.

The exterior front offers a carport for your use, and a wrap-around porch that goes from the carport to to the rear of the cabin where the covered porch is located. The rear deck features a covered porch where you can enjoy the rocking chairs and table and chairs for dining out. If you want to enjoy some real R & R, kick back in the bubbling hot tub and soak in the majestic views after a long day of taking in the mountains. There are neighbors on each side, but not too close. We cannot see neighbor sitting on the back porch or sitting in the hot tub, and they cannot see us. You will never have to get out in the rain while staying at our cabin. From the carport you can go directly into the house or take the deck around to the back. From the house you can go directly onto the covered rear porch. No muddy feet or climbing steps at this cabin!

Guests have the availability of an Olympic size pool, onsite grill order cantina and a free catch and release fishing pond. It is approximately a mile from the cabin (called Honeysuckle Meadows Pool and Deli), and is on Happy Hollow Road across the highway from the cabin.

LOCATION!!!LOCATION!!: Peace of Heaven cabin is located in the center of all the attractions. 3 Miles from the park entrance at Metcalf Bottoms via Line Springs Rd., 15 Miles to Cades Cove thru the park, 15 miles to Gatlinburg thru the park, 15 miles to Dollywood thru the park, and 9 miles from Pigeon Forge via 321 and 6 miles to Townsend via Hwy. 321, where there is some great tubing on the Little River.

Smokey Mountain Retreat

Wonderful & comfortable cabin with a great view. All the amenities needed. Just wish we had more time. We drove down from Michigan to meet our daughter and her new husband from Florida/Georgia. Enjoyed the nature, a cute little bear and some local moonshine. We will definitely be back!

Mini vacation in the mountains

We loved staying at this cabin. You can look out over the valley and all the beauty God has created. We saw a bear twice. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful cabin with great views

The cabin was beautiful and the host went the extra mile to supply you with what you would need for your stay. Views were great. We got to see bears. Out of all our years staying in the smoky mountains this was the first time we saw bears up close. She was quick to respond and ensure our stay was great. We hope to be back!!

Beautiful property, privacy, very clean and up to date inside. Great hot tub and fireplace was beautiful. Big tvs in all rooms which most cabins have small ones in bedr. Wears Valley is beautiful and minutes from town.ooms.

Peaceful and secluded

Other than the drive, which we were warned about and after the first day, no problem, the place was absolutely gorgeous. We did see a bear in the back yard, then 4 of them down the street as we were coming home one evening. The peacefulness of not having neighbors real close, sitting outside watching the sun come up. From the outfitted kitchen to the very comfortable furniture, so enjoyed the stay. We had one issue with TV, our problem not the owners, but they responded right away and we had it figured out within seconds. Thanks so much for sharing your cabin!

Great Cabin

We loved our stay in this cabin. It really was peaceful. We were entertained by bears on three different occasions-A mama bear and six babies that played in the trees. We had never seen anything like it. The cabin was lovely. The kitchen was stocked better than my kitchen at home which made it really easy when we cooked. It was nice to have a carport. Also, I was able to get around pretty well in my wheelchair so that’s a bonus. Finally, the owner was incredibly responsive which I greatly appreciated

Perfect Cabin!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family trip to the mountains! It has wonderful views, plenty of room, comfy couches and beds, and a relaxing hot tub! We also saw several bears in the neighborhood which was a wonderful highlight of our trip! We all agreed that this is our favorite place we’ve stayed around the Smokies, and we’ve been several times before. We will definitely be back!

This is our 4th year staying here and we truly enjoy this home it has beautiful views and home is beautiful the owners are great and get back in touch with you quickly. I would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a peaceful vacation

Perfectly Comfortable

This is our third time staying in this cabin. We love it because there are no steps and the location is perfect for our activities. We love the recliners. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud! The shower is very small. Wish there was a bench. We will most likely stay again next year!

Cute and quiet

The cabin was adorable and just as advertised. The decorations added to the aesthetic, the furniture and beds were comfy. There were a couple of sticky spots on the floor and some dusting that needed to be done, but wasn’t a huge deal. The hot tub was nice and needed after our long days of driving and walking around. Overall I would recommend!

Definitely a Peace of Heaven!

The photos in the listing don’t do this cabin justice. It was perfect. The beds were so comfortable and the area was very quiet with beautiful views. The drive to the cabin was the typical narrow mountain roads that can be a little intimidating at first, but you get used to it. We would definitely stay at Peace of Heaven again!

in the fridge and gallon jugs for coffee were there for us. By the next morning it was fixed. So thoughtful and considerate. My entire family loved the video games. My daughters had so much fun and my husband had even more fun playing on the system. The cabin was so comfortable and perfect. We have been home for three days and can’t stop thinking about the cabin, the area and our trip. The location is perfect if you don’t. Want to be in tourist trap areas. We were so close to Cades Cove, Flat Bottoms Creek Picnic area where my girls played in the water and we hiked. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an unforgettable trip. <3

Peace and relaxation

Lovely surroundings with a great view of sunsets. All TVs worked well with all channels. Electronic game counsel was a hit with our teenager. Hot tub was good size. Laundry room was a plus. There were a few small maintenance issues, such as the tub glass door in the Bear room, and the shower door in the Deer room. Nothing really to complain about.

Perfect place to stay

We absolutely loved this cabin! Loved having the king size beds (which were extremely comfortable) and our own bathrooms. Everything was clean too. The view was incredible and having the necessities of home already there was so nice. We even got to have a bear experience! It came walking along the cabin, acting like it was something it did all the time, just out for a casual walk. We never felt threatened at all but we were also smart enough to keep a distance. Highly recommend this place!

Bears, bears, bears, & more bears

We have stayed at this cabin before & it didn't disappoint again. Clean & comfortable. So glad some of the trees in front of the deck were gone, so we had a better view of the mountains. Saw bears everywhere, Cades Cove, Roaring Fork Motor Trail, up the road from Elvira's Cafe & at the cabin-so COOL!. Rode mountain coasters, ate good food, drank a little moonshine, & had a ball.

Annual Getaway

Overall, the property was as advertised. There were a few minor issues that need to be addressed by the property owner. The Weber gas grill was not cleaned properly, so it had to be cleaned before being used. There were not any long handle tools in the kitchen supplies to use with the grill. The Kuerig coffee maker was found to be broken/unusable when my wife tried to use the first morning. It looks okay until you try to close and latch it to have it brew. It also seemed a bit cheap that only two rolls of toilet paper were supplied for the entire week+ rental time period. Also, there were just two kitchen size garbage bags supplied for the week. With the current cost of the rental, one would think these fairly low cost items would be supplied. It just seemed like a few simple supplies would go a long way to promote an overall homey feeling. Other that the above, the property was clean and as represented in the ad. Bed and linens were clean and comfortable, which is always a big plus. Overall, the property is a reasonable value in today's market.

My wife and I live in Maryville TN. When we first looked at this cabin, we knew that we could turn it into a great cabin for people to come to and enjoy. We take great pride in keeping it clean and a desirable place to visit. Be sure and read the reviews and comments that our previous visitors have made.

Why they chose this property

It is the perfect setting - Up high enough to have a great view but not too high. Not very many people can say that they have a view from both the front and back of their cabin. It is in the middle of all the sites that a person will want to see. It is hard to get much closer to the entrance to the park and all the hiking trails.
