We stayed for 2 weeks. Updated kitchen and flooring on main level. Minimal dishware. No blender. Dated carpet on stairs and upper level. Spacious rooms. Beautiful landscaping. The full bathroom could use updating and vertical blinds are terrible. There was only a broom no vacuum. Property was clean. AC worked great. My son enjoyed fishing in the canal behind villas. Noseems were bad this year. Would stay here again!
The area is nice, Sanibel was amazing, but our stay was nothing like their descriptions! Before we even made it to our destination, my son-in-law was able to go on vacation with us at the last minute, so I messaged and didn't have a response for weeks. I finally called and talked to someone and she said it would not be a problem to bring him along which it wasn't but while I had her on the phone I asked her about all of the amenities that were promised in the description like the kayaks and the bikes and all of the beach toys, she informed me everything was there. The house seemed okay but when we opened the garage we found nothing but junk like old mattresses, cabinets, and rolls of insulation so when I called to ask someone about it I was told that they are renting out their garage to a nearby handyman and they have been trying to get ahold of him to empty it. I asked about all of the amenities that were promised, and she informed me that none of that has been there since the hurricane, which was in 2022 and that I could go to town and rent things if id like ( even though I'm being charged for the things I was promised in my rental) I understand it was a devastating thing to hit that island, but for you to advertise that you still have everything like it was before is downright a lie, especially when I called to check!! We had bugs crawling in our bathroom and mold coming out of the vent as well, which was a nightmare for allergies! Wish I could add my pics to this review!
We stayed just two nights and were overall pleased. The location is great and not too far at all from the beach. We were surprised and delighted to see manatees in the canal at the back of the property. The place was clean and comfortable. We were happy to have use of beach chairs, umbrella, and sand/shell accessories.
Communication with the property management was okay. We were able to get in early and that was communicated well but some of our other questions were either not answered or answered after some time. There are some minor mostly cosmetic issues in the unit. (Upstairs bathroom in particular). A couple more cups and glasses would be nice as well.
Have wanted to visit Sanibel for long time & this was the perfect place to stay. Had everything we needed & a great location - close to the beach. Was able to see manatees at the end of the garden - which was amazing. Would recommend to anyone.
Hermosa casa, muy amplia y comoda. Esta completamente equipada y todo funciona a la perfeccion. Incluso hay sillas de playa y una sombrilla.
La ubicacion es excelente, muy cerca de la playa a la que se puede ir caminando.
Totalmente recomendable!!!
I find it quite insulting that I’ve been asked to review my stay when our accommodation was cancelled due to the hurricane with absolutely no offer of alternative accommodation or any refund. Bearing in mind we were due to travel only about a month after the storm this left us high and dry! 100% our money gone and nowhere to stay! Communication has been appalling.
Wonderful place to stay and enjoy the 5 -10 minute walk to the lovely beach. Went early to the beach and were lucky to see Dolphins near the shore line. Great start to a great vacation and would come back to stay here when back in the area.
This property was the perfect type of beach vacation. Access to the beach is right up the road. They have beach towels available for you, wagons, umbrellas, everything you need for a low key Sanibel vacation. The property managers were very easy to deal with and they really go out of their way to make sure your vacation is perfect. Very pet friendly, but the cottage does not reflect that it is pet friendly. Very clean, the beds were cozy and kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook a meal at home. We will be going back!
Hidden gem in Sanibel. While its not on the beach and nor does it have 5 star on property amenities it does allow you to live like a local. No need to circle the condo parking lot for a space or carry your kids and bags up and down 3 flights of stairs. Two patios, quiet neighborhood and short walk to the beach makes this an easy place to stay in San/Cap as a local.
This was an important trip. My girls had been here with their dad but wanted to show me around and this was our first solo trip together. We rode bikes, we went to baileys, ate great food and watched the sunrise on the beach. Fabulous time and accommodations!

Sanibel weekend
Over night stay in Sanibel was nice. Condo was conveniently located.
Location was great! Easy walk to the beach, and canal out back was enjoyable where we saw a manatee and a dolphin. Unit was comfortable and well appointed. Host was very responsive to questions. Easy drive to local attractions, restaurants, and other amenities. Great visit!
This was our first trip to Sanibel.
We loved this place! Location is a five minute walk to beach, and a five minute drive to sights and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.
Property was as described.
It was a beautiful location close to the beach! They were dredging the canal so unfortunately we weren’t able to see any manatees but the property itself is beautiful and like a 3 minute walk to the beach. I would definitely stay here again. They were even able to check us in early when we asked! Thanks so much!
Overall and with the big elements, this was an excellent rental. It was spacious with comfortable furniture and bed. Two screened porches faced the waterway and a large and truly lovely deck was available to the small complex. 2 gas grills were available, as well as bikes and beach equipment. It was an easy and short walk out to the beach.
My only issues was that the condo needed some maintenance and some of the things that had been done were done sloppily. There was a hole in the drywall behind the bathroom door. Someone had taken down the towel bar to put up hooks and patched but not painted one of the remaining brackets, the fan in the bedroom isn't wired correctly so it goes off when you turn off the lights. The pop-up drain in the bathroom sink doesn't pop up any more and is full of gunk and doesn't drain well. Cleaners have used something that has corroded the faucets and handles on the sink and they have a white residue on them that is pretty noticeable with the dark metal of the hardware. All these things are easily fixed with a little attention to detail. The problems seemed a contrast to the overal quality of the rental.
Only issue is the lock box didn’t work. Luckily we arrived during the day and they were able to resolve. Wonder if we would be locked out if we arrived at nite ???
Everything was great! Saw manatees a few times. We were happy to find bicycles, beach chairs, wagons and more for our use in the garage. Right on bike path. Very clean! Would recommend!!!
A cute little place on sanibel was everything we needed!
This is a little gem of a place and retreat. Very nostalgic as most places are given the building timeframe. Close to everything in sanibel and comfy! We would stay here again!
