Fantastic property!

We stayed for a ski trip with 3 families total. 11 kids. Plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was so well stocked to cook for our large group. LuAnn and Steve were both great, and very responsive and helpful. We extended our stay one night because of weather and LuAnn was amazing about it. Highly recommend this property. Would be a wonderful place in the summer also.

Lovely mountain home

Pictures don’t do this beautiful cabin justice. It is conveniently located near Whitefish grocery stores and downtown. Ski slopes are just 20 minutes away. We have fallen in love with Montana and would certainly like to stay here again.

Absolutely Amazing

Our group of nine had a wonderful stay at the lodge. It was very clean (and I am particular). The hosts were responsive, accommodating, and friendly! From the large kitchen space, to the outdoor decks, hot pool, and fire pit, it was all lovely. The beds were comfortable and we all had enough space to spread out at night. It was the BEST retreat to come back to after a day of adventures! We all highly recommend and want to come back soon!

Great!

There were 12 of us staying in this house and it suited us well. Plenty of room to move about, beds were good, hot tub was good, fire pit area was nice at night. Convenient to Glacier National Park, Whitefish and Kalispell (airport). The two kitchens were a nice feature; would have been nice to have more chairs around the long table but we were able to bring more chairs up from downstairs. Keep in mind, you definitely will need a vehicle when you stay here. All in all we had a good time. Montana is beautiful!

Destination Glacier

Our group of family friends decided to make a return trip to Glacier National Park. We needed a place that could accommodate 17 adults. This rustic home was perfect. It is well appointed with everything we could possibly need for a weeks’ stay-even bear spray for our hikes. :) The only issue is that the main level is the only one that can be temperature regulated.- making both the upstairs and downstairs a bit warm and stuffy. If we ever return to the area with a large group, we would definitely stay here again.

Montana Get Away

We booked the house for our entire family- 8 adults & 7 kids. House was clean and very well equipped. Kitchen was super roomy and well stocked for such a large group. Rooms were spread out and allowed us not to be on top of us. The large bedroom with 6 twin beds was perfect for for all the kids! House was private and well located. 30 minutes to Glacier National Park. Close to shopping and restaurants. Saw wildlife in the yard.

We stayed for our elopement to GNP with our 8 family members. Lu Ann was so accommodating and allowed us to have a private chef come in to do our dinner-10 of us sat comfortably at the dining room table. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out over the week and a beautiful yard with games and a hot tub. We had an amazing time and the home couldn't have been better.

We are a large family of 14. The house had plenty of space to accommodate us all. The grandkids loved the upstairs bedroom with 6 beds and the outside lawn area for them to play. Lu Ann was an awesome host and replied in a timely manner with answers to my questions. The house did not disappoint, when in the area again we will definitely book.

Perfect for family and friends!

We loved this house! There was plenty of room for everyone. We had 8 adults staying at the house, but we also had visiting family with young children. It was nice to be able to host all of them (there were 9 additional family members who traveled from the Great Falls area to visit with us for a few days. Two families stayed in the KOA campground which was located only a mile or two away from the house. The house was very well stocked with pretty much anything we needed. There was plenty everything including towels, blankets, pillows, sheets, additional folding chairs and tables, coffee pots… you name it, and I’m sure you’d find it! There was also plenty of cookware, unlike other places we’ve stayed in, where there was only one fry pan and a cook pot if we were lucky! There was also bakeware, and enough cutlery, plates, glasses, etc. for all 17 of us to eat dinner! The location was great too! It was just a few minutes to Whitefish, around 20 minutes to Kalispell and 40 minutes to the west entrance to Glacier Park. The house had plenty of outside seating as well. The hot tub was great for sore muscles after taking long hiking trips. There was also a fire pit. Unfortunately, we couldn’t light it during our stay because of fire restrictions. Lu Ann even provided us with a tray of goodies upon our arrival which we truly appreciated! Thank you, Lu Ann, for everything! You made us feel welcome in your beautiful home.

Why they chose this property

I have traveled across the country for years. looking a place that has it all .Whitefish, Montana isn't the only place where you can ski, golf , hike and fish but it is one of the only ones I know that you can do it all in the same day. It is the endless vacation. The summer days are so long that I often joke that it is hard to go to bed when you have to wear sun glasses. I dreamed of one day moving back to Lake Tahoe but when I found Whitefish it was still unspolied like I remember Lake Tahoe being years ago. The deal breaker for me was Glacier National Park. The last completely intact ecosystem. I believe that being connected to nature is essential to being healthy and happy. Be careful when you come here you just might not leave..I didn't.

What makes this property unique

When you come to Montana you want to wake up feeling like you are in Montana. If you want to wake up in a hotel room and eat at McDonalds you can do that any where. I wanted you to wake up and look out upon the fir trees and pines from your real log lodge. If you look, you can see Deer, moose and horses. The wild turkeys sometimes will wake you up with their morning stroll. At night, the howls of coyotes in the distance will sing you to sleep. You are close to everything. One of my goals was that you spend as little time in a car as possible. Most of the area attractions are 10-15 minutes at the most ,in your car. Glacier park is 30 minutes. To me it is the perfect place. Food shopping and getting all that may be necessary is only minutes away. I even have a chef that will prepare meals and leave them in the fridge so that all you have to do is play and relax. You can stroll the grounds in the evening and sit out by the firepit making smores feeling like you are in a commercial for the perfect vacation. You don't have to miss a single comfort of home. There is WiFi through out and plenty of space for your furry child (dog) to enjoy the vacation as much as you do.
